Côte Reigate

Everything about our visit was excellent. Waiting staff were attentive without being over bearing, food was delicious and everyone commented on how the restaurant was full yet we could still hear each other speaking without having to raise our voices. Will definitely return!

Another meal up to Cote expectations - first time I'd eaten at their Reigate restaurant, and once again was served 2 courses which were correctly executed and presented. Will come again.

Super meal and service and reasonably priced. Very attentive and friendly staff. Our Guests from France were very impressed and we all went away impressed and satisfied.

Another excellent meal at Cote which we visit regularly. The restaurant is always busy but the service is never affected and the food arrives promptly. Lovely polite staff who always make you feel welcome. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful meal everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty, would have rated the full 5 stars but the complimentary glass of bubbles (hubbie's birthday) which was such a thoughtful touch was then added to the bill in error. Would definitely eat there again.

Good breakfast, vegetarian sausage was given the accolade of 'best veg sausage I have ever eaten' by friend! Service was good also and pleased with coffee quality.

Really can't fault this place. The food is great, the staff are lovely and it's good value for money. What more could you ask for ?

Unusually for Cote, especially in Reigate, the service levels were falling apart, presumably under-staffed for a Saturday night. We were greeted by a female who basically pointed to the table rather than escorting us, and she also pointed out where we could hang hats and coats rather than taken them from us. Unlike her, our waiter was at least charming. But then he couldn't get the kitchen to perform: - the medium-rare sirloin steak that I ordered was not only well done and dried out, it was cold - my wife's request for an extra portion of cabbage, to replace the chips was jotted down but ignored - on the other hand she was given a random bowl of flabby lettuce that was not ordered and none of us touched - the pork belly was good, but the crackling was soggy (unlike the same item on Tuesday night - the cheese platter was dropped off, accompanied by a knife. I like a fork as well, but that waiter shot off before I could ask for one. I utterly detest being asked by staff several times during a mea whether I am enjoying it. Not here, no-one asked me, though as it happens we did have plenty to complain about.

Food very nice and a great variety. Service was a little slow but we were there between lunch and dinner shifts, so staff numbers were down. All round a good experience however.

Always made to feel welcome. Staff are really good and know their menu and choices. Food was good and the service was excellent. Good wine selection to add to the quality of the meal.

Another very enjoyable family get together. The food was delicious and the French onion and soupe de poissons perfect for such a cold day. As always the service was faultless.

Standard early evening menu. Complimentary kir royales a welcome bonus and good service when one of our party was late in arriving. Good value for money.

We both enjoyed a late breakfast on Saturday. The full English was cooked to perfection as was the eggs benedict. It's such a good deal especially as it includes toast, fruit juice and tea or coffee so there are no additional costs.

Took my mum to Cote for a Mother’s Day treat. We loved it. Staff attentive and polite and the food was delicious with portions the perfect size.

Had a lovely meal here on Mother's day, with my in-laws. The food was superb and the service was quietly and un-fussily professional despite the fact that this must be one of the busiest days of the year for them.

Pleasant and vibrant restaurant... doesn’t cater quite as well for younger kids as some, but still mine were happy with French toast and croissant.... breakfast options good and would recommend and return.

I appreciate this Sunday will be busy being Mother’s Day, but the attention to detail and the quality was not to the standard usually experienced at Cotes Stater barely warm & poor presentation, main course order incorrect when arrived warm.

As always, excellent value fixed-price menu, good cooking, efficient and friendly service. We visit Cote Reigate frequently for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and are very rarely disappointed by any aspect of the experience.

Once again a super evening meal in Reigate. The food, service and ambience was marvellous. Each of our party of 6 people agreed!!! Thank you.

You can rely on consistently good food, at a reasonable price, delivered by cheery helpful staff. You could almost be in Paris! The Breton fish stew is a favourite.

Just disappointed one of the special March dishes not available. Staff as ever very friendly and efficient as always. Fish soup was delicious and duck good

The food and service was very good, however there was a delay between the main meal and the dessert. The waiter did apologise for this delay.

Fantastic service as usual throughout our evening. Thoroughly enjoyable early supper with my daughter who loves going to this restaurant. Very warm atmosphere and welcoming reception.

Easy to park in the evening ! Lovely decor and atmosphere on entering . Staff freindly and attentive . Food excellent and wine and champagne too. Only criticism was that they had run out of specials on starters , sides and desert .

Food was good staff were lovely but we had a family with 2 screaming children whose parents did nothing to sort them out for an hour and a half spoilt our birthday meal as we could not hear ourselves speak. Staff powerless to do anything in this day and age due to being PC.

We were surprised to be told on being seated that the menu was "limited" . This meant that two of the Mains (Sea Bass and Boeuf Bourgignon both of which we would have ordered) were not available. In addition the daily special starters and desserts (cheaper than the a la carte) were also not available so we spent more. We were not told if the missing dishes had sold out or had never been available. It seemed we were missing out due to having a late lunch (2.15pm) I should have been advised of the restricted menu before arrival. Despite that, the food we had was good and nicely and professionally served and we enjoyed the meal.

I don't expect my main course to arrive when we are still eating our starters. Fish was over cooked. Waiting staff lovely as always. Restaurant warm which was very welcome

Food to usual high standard and service was friendly and fairly efficient altho' there was an unusual delay in serving the last of the main-courses and one portion of chips. In my experience this kind of mix up is rare as they generally succeed in serving everyone at the table at once.

Meet here on a regular basis for breakfast with family, the food is always good, the staff professional and friendly not too loud within the restaurant no matter how busy

We enjoyed delicious food and charming service. Great place for an early dinner on a cold evening. There was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly recommend the fish stew and the steak frites was as good as ever

Food was luke warm. Lack of atmosphere. Service was pretty quick until we wanted the bill! No where near as good as Bill's restaurant in Reigate.

Great meal for four, always top quality food and service at a price that's affordable on a family budget. Always feel pampered whilst there and we'll fed when leaving.

Good food and good value. Unfortunately the steak had to be sent back due to too many sinews but excellent service with it. No quibbles, taken off the bill
