Côte Reigate

Second last visit: Service slow Last visit: WAITED 40 minutes for our food, then told it had not even been ordered. They still wanted to charge us for our coffees while we waited.

The food is very nice and the price is fair.

Lovely meal once again with my family, they did forget to bring my son's meal but that was quickly remedied. Food was delicious as always.

Have been many times but this visit wasn't quite up to it. Biggest complaint is that the tables are far too small for breakfast, there were 5 of us & we had to put cups, glass's, salt & pepper etc on the ledge behind us. Only 3 had tea with pots, if the other two had also had tea it would've been impossible to put our plates on the table at all - even with much of the tableware already cleared. Service wasn't as good as it usually is either with long waits to order & pay.

Quality of food was excellent as expected, however,service delays was not up to the standard I've come to enjoy in the past. After waiting 15minutes to make my payment, I left my table to find someone to take my card which was then snatched from my hand.Not nice.

Great breakfast (which tasted delicious) and reasonably priced. Service was good despite the restaurant being quite busy. Staff very friendly. Would happily return there again.

Another great experience at Côte. This restaurant never disappoints and the food this time was outstanding. And as always the service was excellent even with the restaurant full. Our waiter was polite and attentive.

Always reliably good food and service and big portions today. Pork navarin was delicious and filling as was endives with poached egg. Glass of house champagne to start which is better than most expensive champagnes and only £6.25

Good ambience, friendly staff, good service. Very good food with plenty of choice and kids menu. Suits families, couples, groups. Set menus are very good value.

I took my son, daughter in law and 2 year old granddaughter to Cote on Christmas Eve. Excellent food, as usual, staff very patient, helpful and polite even though they were very busy. Congratulations and a Happy New Year to all staff at the Reigate branch of Cote.

The food was really good but it was a bit disappointing not to have any Christmas decorations up. And unfortunately the toilet was in a disgraceful state.

Always great food and service from the team. We have visited many times and will continue to do so. It’s nice to see the familiar faces of the staff- they do make you feel special.

Good food good service as usual but my husband found a piece of plastic in his onion soup. Although we got the soup for free, it still ruined our trust to cote

This is a very nice Cote restaurant. The welcome was warm, and despite this being a very busy day for the staff we were not rushed to order or to leave. My only slight reservation is that generally the menu - although the dishes are well executed and good value - is rather less varied and interesting than it was in the past. This is clearly not the fault of the Cote in Reigate however.

Lovely lunch with friends. Food was excellent. Would have given full marks had we not had to catch the eye of the waiter on a couple of occasions for service and then the bill.

Despite the Xmas rush staff were very attentive, food served in a timely manner and very good quality. Public car park opposite was very convenient. Would thoroughly recommend

Excellent. Food was perfect even for a large number and everyone went away happy! Charcuterie board, steak and warm chocolate fondant were all fab. Thank you!

Another enjoyable visit to Cote Brasserie in Reigate. As always, the service was good & the food excellent. For starters, 2 of us had the parsnip soup and 1 had the Roquefort salad; mains, 2 had the steak and frites with a tomato side salad and I had the sea bream ...as I don't like ratatouille, I had it with savoy cabbage and glazed carrots; desserts were 2 creme caramels and a creme brulee. We enjoyed every mouthful and would thoroughly recommend all our dishes. I do feel that the compulsory 12.5% gratuity added to the bill is a bit over the top. I am quite happy to tip for good service but feel that 10% is sufficient.

It really was a lovely meal. The service was excellent and very friendly and the ambience very attractive and welcoming, and the staff really behaved as if they were pleased to see us. Not always the case in such establishments.

Brilliant as always - greeting, service, menu choice and food. There's not one thing to find fault with - my favourite eaterie in Reigate by far.

My regular and local cote and although the waiting staff have changed the food is still good. Service not quite as good as before but the previous staff knew me well and I was always looked after. Considering it was quiet on Tuesday night we waited quite a while for someone to come and take our order. Hopefully it will continue to be my favourite restaurant in Reigate.

Predictably good and food excellent. It is always a friendly and good place to eat and meet. Very handy for the cinema. We will go again.

Pleasant atmospheres do well prepared food but the service fell down. Our coffee was forgotten and it seem to take ages to get someone to whom we could pay our bill. 15% service is a bit steep in those circumstances but we let it pass.

lovely staff with great food and service a regular favourite place in Reigate, consistently good. would recommend it for lunch or evening , not tried the breakfast yet !

Have always loved Côte Reigate and been there repeatedly for brunch, lunch and dinner. They have obviously changed their staff and it shows. Food can quickly but drinks were slow and we waited 20 minutes when we asked for the bill. You can just tell they don’t seem that efficient. The previous staff were amazing . Have our Xmas work lunch there so hope it improves as more than 60 of us!

An excellent choice on the menu to suit all, including vegetarians and very reasonable priced. The fixed menu offers great value and a good choice. Friendly and attentive service. Definitely recommend.

Very relaxed pleasant informal service. Good value for money in respect of the food; genuine French 'provincial' feel. Atmosphere lively and bustling on a Friday lunch-time.

Our group of 8 very much enjoyed the lunchtime meal, with good service and enjoyable food. Will go again as lunch time dining is in a less busy (noisy) environment than the evening.

Really friendly welcome and relaxed professional service. Rib-eye was good quality and perfectly cooked (med rare). 3 drinks, flat bread with cheese to share, 3 mains - all for less than £90 including service so good value too. The Bordeaux was particularly lovely with the steak.

Went here with a group of friends with whom I meet up regularly in the Reigate area. Though there is a wide choice of eateries Côte always offers good food, wine and service ...but not overly intrusive.

Delicious food with prompt and helpful service. Good choice of food on the menu with all dishes served piping hot. Puddings were lovely. Waiters attentive.

Had the set menu for a quick late dinner. Still a bit pricey though considering we had no alcohol as it was a school night. Cokes & Service charge added 20% to the food bill
