Côte Reigate

Took my granddaughter, a vegetarian, for her first visit to a Cote restaurant. We shall definitely go again.

Was a little quiet but it was lunchtime mid week. Food was great (we had goats cheese salad and pan fried Salmon). service was very good.

We were there for dinner on a Sunday evening for my partners Birthday. Everything about the visit was excellent and a special mention must go to Atelli who waited on the table. He could not have been more attentive and friendly, but from a suitable distance. It is the second time at a Cote Brasserie, the other being at Newbury. The standard of presentation and overall delivery waas equal at both. Excellent. Would I recomend it to friends and others, yes definitely.

We always enjoy visiting Cote Reigate, but were a little disappointed to find two dishes of the Lunchtime menu were not available of that day, but a good explanation was given to us. Alternatives were very acceptable. Good service and tasty food at reasonable prices. thank you!

Went on Monday evening the restaurant wasn't that busy but the staff were great and the food was fantastic. Lovely unrushed evening with great food and great service.

Have been here many and this visit was as great as ever. Staff were great getting us into the restaurant with a wheelchair.

Excellent as always, warm welcome from all the staff, well attended at our table and a great menu, especially for the gluten free menu which is essential for me. Our friends loved it, so no doubt will be returning...we’re already booked for 2 weeks ahead! Well done Cote Reigate.

As always our meal was great and the service superb. We are always treated like we are special.

Food was a let down. Rump of lamb was small portion of the lamb. Cod goujons dry and unpalettable with fries about 2cm long and over fried. Wont be returning.

Great lunchtime , greeted with a smile not rushed at all good choice on both daily and a la Carte menus ,will definitely visit again.

A most pleasant evening with caring attentive staff. Food was delicious and our group of 4 mature ladies found it easy to relax and enjoy the evening.

The restaurant had been over booked. The table was tiny, and very close to other diners. The first impression was so awful, that my partner and I decided to move onto another restaurant in Reigate. Such a shame as I highly regard Côte as a brand, but shall I not be visiting it again.

I normally give a rating of 6 but not this time , only 5. The manager saved this from being a much worse rating. My son and I booked Cote for lunch last Saturday for 12 noon. As it happened we arrived slightly early , around 11:40 / 11:45 and the manager greeted us warmly and handed us the lunch menus. After about 5 mins we ordered some drinks - a very pleasant waiter took our drinks order - then after a few more minutes , at 11;53 am ( I checked the time ) we asked to order our meals. A different ,extremely surly , waiter said that lunch didn't start until 12 noon and we'd have to order from the breakfast menu which he brought us - as if we would have ordered wine with breakfast!! The manager then reappeared - we were extremely disgruntled - and said that , of course , we could place our orders since it was so close to noon. He also offered not to charge for our drinks. Had the waiter had any sense he'd have done the same as the manager , and saved the restaurant , at the least , the price of two drinks. My wife and I go to Cote in Reigate regularly and had the manager not stepped in as he did last Saturday it would have been my last visit. Having said that , my son and I visited Reigate again today but decided to try a different restaurant which I wouldn't have agreed to had it not been for this experience. So my loyalty to Cote has been tested.

As per usual, lovely food, good wine and really polite and good staff. It’s little surprise that this Côte is one of the best in the country.

Food was good, service a little slow but restaurant was very busy, it was Friday night. Buzzy atmosphere but not too loud was easy to chat.

Meal much better in terms of presentation and content. Staff where able to cope better with a full restaurant. Long may it continue.staff along with Hannes General manage where very attentive to put bad previous experience right on the night.we will visit again soon & look forward to meeting your friendly staff again

lovely setting in a lovely restaurant. Very attentive and charming service . We enjoyed a wonderful meal with a great variety of choice. Altogether a great meal out.

The quality of food was very good and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly. We would definitely go back again, maybe try breakfast menu.

A great breakfast choice and efficient staff. My only criticism is adding a service charge for two people at breakfast seems a bit harsh! Other than that - a good experience.

Lunch with friend at Reigate today, nice and relaxed , no pressure to hurry . Attentive service. Not the cheapest but will definitely come again

The service was friendly and attentive, although it became slightly slower as the restaurant became considerably busier on a Saturday evening. The food was good quality and tasty, as usual.

Great service and food. - maybe a bit too quick? Just as well we were not planning a celebratory evening and wanted to spend a couple of hours there! As it was we were in and out within an hour, having had three courses, don’t think we eat that fast!! There was, arguably, a delay in getting our drinks, the waiter apologised profusely and offered us free drinks, we declined, as I think he was a bit over zealous! Will certainly return, are fairly regular diners anyway.

A varied menu selection with something for everyone. The food was tasty, service was great with all members of staff attentive. Really great atmosphere and busy.

Second last visit: Service slow Last visit: WAITED 40 minutes for our food, then told it had not even been ordered. They still wanted to charge us for our coffees while we waited.

The food is very nice and the price is fair.
