Great food as always. Service was extremely slow and we ended up being there for about 2 1/2 hours by the time we finished. Side dishes were missing when main meals were delivered, none of our water bottles were filled up and no extra drinks were offered whilst eating other than our initial drinks order.
A lovely meal with friends. The steak and frites, although very tasty, looked very bland. It would have looked better with some garnish of lettuce/tomato.
Another lovely evening as usual with excellent service and dinner. We were looked after by Nikki and Atilla, both delightful, friendly and efficient. Cote has the best gluten free menu and I feel very comfortable eating there. Well done Cote Reigate!
Always welcoming at this Cote. Food reliable, tasty and good value. Staff very pleasant and attentive.
Excellent as usual. Disappointed men in party that could not have a gluten free beer. is because France does not produce G/F beer?
Lovely service and food in general.Fish cooked perfectly but one chef will need to learn how to cook a steak .Rare is not raw!
We had the fixed price menu which was very good value at £11.50 for 2 courses. Good was delicious. It was a boiling hot bank holiday Monday but the restaurant was air conditioned and beautifully cool.
Lovely evening food, service and all staff second to none.
Always fantastic food, staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend by us.
A perfect evening, fabulous service and delicious food, very much enjoyed.
Lovely food although our dessert order got mislaid but the staff were very apologetic. Very friendly waitress.
Usual friendly efficient service and appetising meals with a French touch. Reigate's best restaurant
Extremely pleasant to have a relaxing and enjoyable lunch here in Reigate.
A very disappointing evening, service extremely slow, had to ask for water glasses, not offered a second drink, waiting times for food very poor. Definitely not up to cotes usual standards.
A very disappointing experience, not up to the usual standard of Cote, will not be returning to Reigate any time soon. Cobham and Esher so much better.
Excellent service and pleasant ambiance Main course average and not particularly flavoured but acceptable . Dessert v good. Attentive staff however food not as well prepared as Côte in Brighton as veg a bit over done and lacked flavour but pleasant enough. I had the trout with green beans and new potatoes ( not many green beans and over cooked) husband had chargrilled chicken and was very dry . Shame a other than this would give ffve starts
Very good lunch. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Set lunch good value.
A lovely evening spent at Cote. The staff were friendly and the service was really good. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was perfect for a meal enjoyed by the whole family. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Great food & service. Lovely evening thank you. Definitely recommend.
Really great meal this evening. Great food and personal service in a lovely relaxed setting.
Excellent food and service in pleasant surroundings. Would highly recommend.
good food but slow service. forgot our drinks order so had to ask again
The restaurant was very busy but the Manager (or front of house) was very attentive and professional and the staff friendly and helpful. A slight delay in taking our order but cannot fault the staff and the food was excellent. We are regulars at many Cote restaurants and feel this was one of our best evenings and would certainly go back.
Best place in Reigate for breakfast! 3rd visit and yummy every time
All good once again for us all. A very enjoyable lunch on a rainy Monday!!
Friendly fab service delicious food, great choice of table, dry happy
Great restaurant, the team at the venue exceptional - great friendly customer service. Always a delight to eat here
Super food and very attentive service. Thoroughly enjoyed our catch up lunch. Thank you.
Sadly I had a very disappointing meal last night. I meet a friend at Cote Reigate regularly and usually have an excellent experience - on our previous visit we had enjoyed a superb Chateaubriand. On this occasion we both started with the Crab Maionnaise which was ok, but then I had the spinach and mushroom crepes. The dish that was delivered to our table was a disgrace - the sauce had evaporated and the crepes were dried out. It should never have been sent out. The manager was happy to replace it, but this meant my friend had almost finished her meal when mine finally arrived. It was still not good. Although freshly prepared, it was drowning in sauce and the crepes were soggy and unpleasant. The manager deducted the cost of our coffees by way of an apology, and the service both from the manager and our lovely waitress was good, but it did somewhat spoil the overall experience. A shame, because the standard of the cooking is usually very good.
Just had a lovely meal at Cote with a close friend. The staff were pleasant and helpful and very understanding when we had chatted so much that we hadn’t had time to choose what we would eat. The food was tasty and there was plenty on the plate. Looking forward to my next visit.
overall good, food was great and staff friendly. It was a bit slow between courses and we had to prompt on occasion, but i appreciate it was a large table but hopefully the pre-order helped. there was one girl with a hazelnut allergy and one man who ordered the salad with hazelnuts - she was then in fact served his salad by mistake, but no harm was done thankfully and i believe it was taken away and moved quickly to the right person
Good food esp veggie menu. Only way of getting full marks would be quicker service.
Delightful restaurant, excellent food, & exceptional customer service. My first visit to Cote Reigate, & most impressed.
Another very nice meal at cotes reigate. The standard of food and service is always excellent. Thank you guys keep up the high standards.
The starters and drinks came quite quickly which was lovely. Later on in our meal, there was disappointment. My meal was warm, and my partner's meal was bad. He had ordered lamb. The dish looked presentable, but when he cut into the lamb it was just pure fat. The waiter took this back to the chef and the chefs reply "Its a bad cut of lamb, I will do another". We waited 20 minutes and still no meal!! In the end we just got the bill and left as we had both had enough. This was not just our table, the couple next to us had sent there meal back twice due to food being cold. This was not a good night for cote!
Good food. great night . prefer wine over cocktails but nice they were comp!
Good food, slow service & hate hate hate 12% being put on the service charge. Mixed reviews from the 5 of us
I enjoyed the Food plus the ambience and service was very good.
The food was really good, reasonably priced, only a couple of waiters covering tables but they did so well , I definitely recommend it
Five of us celebrated a sporting victory with a delicious ( complimentary) Pampelle spritzer cocktail, followed by 3 different fish dishes and lemon creme brûlée. The Cote atmosphere and friendly service added to our enjoyment of a lovely meal.
The food was very nice, with a quiet and posh environment.
Very nice food and good service. A car park nearby which is convenient.
Charming maitre d’ and staff , excellent service and food ,extremely enjoyable lunch , thankyou
Friendly, good service & tasty food. I enjoy my time at Cote we’ll be back. Thank you to the staff. Best Mel
Very good food, reasonable prices, and I highly recommend the prestige set menu.
Very delicious food and nice environment, with a convenient car park.
The food is of high quality, and the prices are reasonable.
Unfortunately I had food poisoning after visiting Cote in Reigate with my husband last night for his birthday meal! The food was very average & not really up to the usual standard. We should have complained at the time but like usual Brits we just smiled & said everything was fine when asked by the very pleasant young waiter! The desserts (praline crepe & icrecream with chocolate sauce) were very good but the mains were extremely disappointing. I had the roasted sea bass which tasted & looked very bland & the green beans as a side were salty & limp. My husband had steak & frites which came with a small salad which was past its sell by date.
Although the food was good, the service was very rushed. We ordered starters & main and drinks.... the starters came before the drinks, literally 2/3 mins after we’d ordered. Followed by our mains straight away. We were in & out in 35 mins! Very quick way to spend £80!
Quiet Sunday afternoon in Reigate. Everyone in our group of 4 was very satisfied with the service and the food. No real complaints perhaps if I was nitpicking 12.5% service on the bill but I guess that the sign of the times. Big question is would we go back then yes. Stewart.
