We did have a good time at Reigate. The food was great, als the service was great.

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very attentive and charming. A special meal.

Absolutely great food served professionally by a very courteous team. The grandchildren loved the kids menu options.

Food was very good. Presented well and delivered quickly despite restaurant being very busy. Would have liked more pudding choices that didn't include chocolate ..as off chocolate for lent!

Food and service were ok, not brilliant. Had to ask twice for a hot drink. Not that busy when we arrived for breakfast but the service was slow. Two incredibly arguing children nearby also spoilt the experience. Good old Cafe Rouge for us next time .

Really excellent all round experience. Manger clearly got a super team who work together to make you feel welcome and I rushed, even though it was very busy. Food always delicious and excellent value for the quality.

Normally really enjoy breakfast here but today took over 30 minutes to get a hot drink and then had hair in bottom of drink. Waited a long time for food. When arrived it was nice

Cote has always been my favourite restaurant in Reigate. The ambiance is superb and the service second to none. And the food is scrumptious. We were served by Ivan who was helpful, polite and completely unobtrusive It was a pleasure to be served by him and he is a credit to the restaurant. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you.

We always enjoy our visit to Cote in Reigate and last night was no exception. The food and wine were of a good standard and the ambience was very pleasant. We would however like to see better attention to detail by the waiters. I can't fault them on their friendliness and attentiveness, but a couple of ommissions were below the level we would expect. We ordered olives and calamari as starters to share, but we weren't given plates. Maybe neither of these dishes are meant to have plates, but we both thought the calamari called for a plate, so maybe the waiters should ask if a plate is desired. We asked for plates and they were brought immediately, but they weren't plates, they were saucers! I didn't consider either of these annoyances worthy of a complaint to the manager, but you have asked me to share our thoughts and here they are. Cote aspires to be a high quality restaurant - attention to detail is required to achieve that.

Good food but service was a bit slow, unusually! Wouldn't put us off visiting again.

Cote nails it pretty much every time although we do tend to go when it's quiet. The staff are delightful. I hope you pay them well, they deserve it.

Booked a table for breakfast, arrived and turned away on the door as the Reigate branch was not serving any food until midday. No explanation as to why, no warning from the website or email before setting off and making my journey into Reigate.

The staff were polite and attentive and the food was excellent value

Lovely good value food. The waiter was a little amnesic but the place was busy for a Tuesday night. Also the curtain around the front door couldn’t keep the draught out when people came in so occasionally on the cool side. Didn’t spoil the meal though

I have ordered a 10oz steak and it tasted horrible and the cut was full of fat. I also believe that it might have been re-heated. Undoubtedly terrible value for money. PS: I didn’t mention the above to the waitress just because it was our San Valentine celebration and didn’t want to spoil the day.

They weren't any busier than usual yet we queued to get in, then waited over 45 minutes to place our order. The food came out slower than previous visits, but everything was really tasty and nice - other than the steak, which was medium to well done, rather than the medium-rare we'd asked for. We didn't dare send it back as we'd been in the restaurant for 1hr 40 minutes by this point and wanted to eat at a reasonably sensible time. We were also sat at the front, and the noise made it difficult to hear each other, with tables free in the back and usually being given a choice. We will go again as we enjoy the food, value and monthly specials, but hope they manage to get the service back where it's been in previous months.

Warm welcome, good service the early evening menu has a good selection and was served hot and well presented.

We had a lovely meal . The service was excellent and were able to sit and chat. We were not rushed in any way which was nice .

We visited on valentine's evening. Really not happy with the main courses. The duck was very over cooked and the lamb under cooked. We were seated near to the coffee machine and the table was not a pleasant place to be with the staff having to filter right past us all evening. In hindsight, we should have asked to move tables as it was impossible to have a quiet, romantic meal in that environment. Can't fault the staff however, they were very friendly and attentive. I might go back at some point but the 12% service charge may put me off, particularly because there is a plethora of other decent restaurants in Reigate.
