Côte Reigate

We have been to Cote brasserie twice, with our teenage children and we have all enjoyed the meals both time. Service was great and food was very tasty, what more could you ask for.

The staff at Côte Brasserie Reigate were very welcoming and accommodating. The food is exquisite and was brought to our table promptly. The staff are all very friendly and they specifically catered for my friends gluten and dairy intolerance. The manager and staff were very attentive.

The food, as usual, was super and couldn’t fault it; however the service was terrible. We arrived at 12:15 (I had called to say we’d be slightly late). It didn’t seem particularly busy and there were plenty of staff around. We were shown to our table, the lunch menu was already at the table; we weren’t given the breakfast menu until we asked. We waited about 15 mins before anyone came to speak to us. We ordered and having received our drinks I asked for extra ice; we had to ask 3 times before receiving it. Unfortunately my friend isn’t a Côte regular, so I had to explain to her that this wasn’t my usual experience in Horsham. I live in Horsham, West Sussex and am a regular. The service in Horsham and overall ‘special’ experience created by the staff is exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble, they are attentive, happy in their work and they always do what you ask for with a smile. I suggest you send staff there to learn from them; it’s on a par with The Ivy in London and Guilford in my view.

Food was great only thing was that table was quite small and got over crowded with plates and drinks

As it was my birthday the management made the night extra special. Really friendly staff couldn’t have been more polite and we would definitely visit this Côte again!

Service was absolutely superb. George was our waiter and he really looked after us. He absolutely made our evening. So friendly and attentive. Food was also excellent. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

This was my second lunch at Côte recently and on both occasions my guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the dinning experience. Helpful staff readily tedeemed a voucher for Kir Royal from zdAHA Possibilities.

Went with 3 other adults and 2 year old at 5.30 pm for a table booked 10 days ago. Very off hand greeting when we arrived and difficulties when I refused tiny table in front of the till in an empty room. Grudgingly allowed to have larger more suitably placed table. We waited 45 mins but eventually food and service was good. Pity about start.

Great food and very welcoming. Had to request water top up three times but otherwise good service. The imposition of an optional “ 12.5% service charge may make me think of going somewhere else in the future.

Took 50 minutes for our breakfast to come out. The breakfast that came was poorly cooked, including the eggs being under done. Not good all round.

Lovely restaurant and wonderful service. Very good value for money. Well worth a visit here. Came here for a birthday breakfast and had a lovely time.

I booked this Valentine's meal a couple of weeks prior to the day . We arrived at the restaurant and were seated by the window after asking .This was a good start . I was very surprised not to see any flowers on any of the tables . Service we was good and attentive , unfortunately the Duck was off the menu (sold out ) apparantl by 8pm ! My wife had specifically looked forward to the Duck . We had eaten steak the previous evening and my wife did not fancy it again . The manager dealt with this very well , my wife had Sea Bass despite it not being on the menu . Whilst we enjoyed the food and the service at this restaurant there was no music , no valentine decor and no feeling of a sense of the occasion . This could have been just any night of the week and could have been easily remedied with a simple table centre , maybe some valentine decor but at the very least some background music . This will not prevent us dining at Cote again but maybe not for this special occasion . I also felt that a small token gift or chocolate or similar for the lady / partner would have made a nice impression .

Service not up to the usual standard though food was very good we waited for over 10 minutes for our table to be cleared after our main meal

Nice restaurant with very helpful and polite staff - Food as always was to a high standard. A somewhat noisy restaurant due to a low ceiling which made it difficult to hear consequently restaurant users talk louder and it was difficult to hear -- and so on!

Lovely evening as usual in your Reigate restaurant, staff great again as per normal & complementary May drink very palatable. Our green beans as extra veg were very undercooked but we told waitress they were very apologetic, offered more but were halfway through meal, declined, price taken off bill and complementary coffees given, which was welcoming touch. We will be back soon as good atmosphere. Well done.

As always a beautiful breakfast and wonderful service from all the staff.. we were a party of 12 and waiting time was not bad at all. Thank you cotes Reigate.

We go to Côte on a regular basis because it’s such nice food and staff. The first to go restaurant for family weekend. Love it! The ice cream with chocolate sauce is my favorite!

Great breakfast. Staff attentive and nothing too much trouble. The manager on duty was especially good and a credit to the restaurant. We have weekend breakfast here regularly and never disappointed.

The staff are lovely and attentive without checking up on you too often. The food came out quickly and was lovely. Overall, had a great evening. We go to Côte in Reigate regularly.

We visited the Cote for dinner on Saturday and had a very enjoyable evening. The food and service were excellent. We have been here many times and apart from one occasion it has been very good. There is one very irritating issue in as much as they absolutely refuse to serve biscuits with cheese. They claim that they are a French restaurant and that is the way it is served. I would just make two points. 1, The restaurant is in Reigate ENGLAND! 2. I have spent a lot of time in Paris on business and eating and biscuits with cheese has never been a problem! I do hope this is not just a reflection of French arrogance in food service but it is very irritating. I had cheese and bread and paid the digestive price for it when I got home

Great meal, my husband had one of the nest steaks his had since moving to the UK.Great staff and a awesome restaurant will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant .

Very impressed with quality of personnel and service. This is exactly the place I recommend for a breakfast in a calm place with a very nice atmosphere and very talented personnel.

Nice food. Don’t like 12.5% service charge automatically being added to the bill. Tipping should be at the customer’s discretion.

The past few times I've been to Cote, the service and the food have been disappointing. It was the same last night; sadly - average. We waited over half an hour to get a drink, my friend's steak was overcooked so she had to send it back which disrupted timings for the rest of us. My meal was lack lustre and to be honest, the menu is starting to feel extremely dated. Overall an extremely disappointing experience.

I received an email regarding an offer for a free cocktail ( blood orange) and it was amazing, we regularly visit Côte Reigate and have never had a bad experience it is always first class the food is delicious and presented very well the service as always is also second to none

It was my girlfriend s birthday, the food was delicious and were very well looked after. We will be back. Great atmosphere attentive staff, great food.

As a Cote regular I was disappointed by the quality of the food on our visit today - Not sure if it was the set menu dish I chose (Chicken & Bacon Parmentier) or whether the standard of cooking had declined. Similarly my wife’s set menu Sea Bream was barely average and the salad poor and not as described on the menu.

My friend and I met for lunch today at the restaurant and the staff could not have been more attentive or done more for us and the food was delicious and came speedily. The nice thing about the restaurant is that you feel you have space around you, not a feeling of being overcrowded. Overall a first rate service at a reasonable price. We shall definitely be returning.

I absolutely love Côte... the food is outstanding and the staff are so polite they can’t do enough for you... I highly recommend this restaurant can’t wait till my next visit!!

Yet again another lovely meal at Cote Reigate, it was extremely busy as it was a Friday night but the staff dealt with everything brilliantly, will definitely return!

Every time we go to Cote we can never get what is on the menu. This morning 2 of us wanted French toast with fruit , no fruit! Last week no smoked salmon for breakfast menu. It was not busy but had to ask twice to order drinks and then twice more as only 2 of the 4 actually got their drinks. Come on Cote ,losing patience. When you run out of things there is a supermarket 200 yards away. Use your initiative!!!/

As always cote reigate didn't let me down. Food was amazing. Staff were the best. Absolutely love this restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Unfortunatey not as good as it used to be. Slow and poor service table not cleared, waiters non attentive and cold food.! Shame as I won’t be going back

As always an excellent meal. My first choice every time. Perfect venue for a Sunday lunch with my 5 year old granddaughter. Staff very pleasant and accommodating.
