Côte Reigate

We started our meal with a delicious St. Germaine aperitif, flavoured with elderflower , and enjoyed pissaladiere with anchovies and olives. We both chose the Breton fish stew, calamari, mussels, clams all cooked to perfection. August special pavlova was delicious. Another lovely meal at our favourite Reigate restaurant, with attentive service.

The staff were extremely helpful, good menu, food very well cooked. We had a very pleasant evening, nice atmosphere and will return in the not too distant future.

Nice food and good service - the service was a bit slow as it was a busy night but the staff keeps apologised for the inconvenience

AS usual the Cote experience was great. We were welcomed by a new trainee who apologised in advance for any errors she may make, which was a testament to their training regime. Meal and ambience great.

Nice restaurant with lovely food and good service, slightly let down by the front doors being left open and diners being allowed to smoke on the doorstep. You could detect the smell of smoke even halfway back in the restaurant where we were seated.

Visited here on Sunday lunch time, we always thoroughly enjoy it when we visit here. Had to wait a little time to get our order taken for drinks but nothing too bad that we had to moan.food was as usual perfect and the waiter took our starters off of the bill as an apology for having to wait which was very unexpected but lovely of him. Will return!

Loved the menu; but the main dish took a very long time to come ! Will come back with friends an other time soon !

We chose the prestige menu three course for the first time tonight and would highly recommend it as it is fantastic value and delicious dishes.

Really enjoyed our lunch with friends. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. Food was delicious and all of the courses were very well presented.

The food was good, we had great service and we had a couple of bottles of very reasonably priced good wines and champagne. We will be returning.

Party of 4, one meal was undercooked had to be sent back. New meal was cooked but then eaten when the others had almost finished- very unsatisfactory. Apologies were given but I expected cost of the meal to be remove from the bill, which it was not.

The service was efficient and friendly and the food was of a good standard. Good value for money if using the special daily menu. Will defintely make a return visit

A little disappointed with my visit this time. I nearly always have salad nicoise - which is usually great. It came this time with no potatoes- I raised this with them and the chef had forgotten. 1 was brought to me in a separate bowl. Tuna over cooked.

Food was delicious, service was impeccable, we felt really looked after, and gluten free food clearly marked with little flag to give the diner confidence, couldn’t ask for more in a dining out experience.

We had a good evening at Cote Reigate. Atmosphere very good. We ate from the early menu which was good value and good food. Service was polite and friendly apart from when we arrived we were shown to our table at which point my friend walked towards the inner part of the restaurant to look at the other tables. The receptionist was almost aggressive in stating that all those tables were booked and this was the only one available to us.

The Reigate restaurant was busy at lunchtime and my 4 guests and I had to wait some 30 minutes before our dining order was taken, somewhat too long in my opinion. Had an apology for the delay been offered our wait would have been better accomodated but regretfully no such apology was given. We then had to wait for our desert orders to be taken which compounded the previous delay. Fortunately the food was very good and to an extent compensentated for the earlier delays. Finally as it was so busy the noise level was very high despite us sitting at the front of restaurant. The first issue is easy to deal with as it is the Maitre de's task to observe and correct and delays but the second is more constructional and furnishing orientated to eliminate excess noise.

Decent quality food at a fair price. The service was friendly and the trainee waitress very willing to help. Nice ambience . Wine prices a little on the high side.

Cote offers reliable quality food at a good price in its set price lunch menu. Our waitress was busy but very pleasant and delivered very good service.

Very nice restaurant with excellent menu. Service was friendly and efficient. Only slight gripe that the table was not laid properly ie no glasses or cutlery. These did not come until the waitress bringing our starers noticed.

Great food. Service a bit slow. Had to ask to take order after initially delaying for short time. No one came to ask if dessert or coffees wanted. However they accommodated us very well by serving own birthday cake and supplying plates. Most unexpected and appreciated. Bit more attention to table service would of improved rating. Overall though a good evening.

Must be the best of the chain of restaurants in the country. Excellent food and service and we were well accommodated in regard to it being our anniversary.

Food was very average, we didn’t feel it was worth the money and portions seemed pretty small. We will not be returning in a hurry.

Had dinner at Cote in Reigate last Friday evening and, as usual, everything came up to expectations. Food, service and ambiance really could not be faulted. As far as restaurant chains go Cote are in a class of their own!

Another fab lunch with my friend. Great company, delicious food and friendly, attentive service. We never feel rushed but never have to wait long for our order either.

We were greeted courteously and asked which table we would prefer. We enjoyed the offer of special cocktails, and our ordered dishes arrived promptly, and were delicious. Wine by the glass was fine. All,in all a very pleasant dining experience, what we have come to expect at Cote Reigate and Cote Dorking.

I went there for a late breakfast which was amazing. The best English cooked breakfast in the area and terrific value for money. The service was also superb.

Welcoming and attentive staff with first rate food. A fine meal out with an especially nice Merlot. And all for a decent price. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely air conditioned and not too noisy of busy. My food was great as always plus no fuss ordering for gluten free meal which is always a bonus. My husband enjoyed his meal too.

Seven of us ate here this evening and everything was as good as it always is - EXCEPT - me and my husband had the Salad d’Ete which was very poor. It was a combination of various greens, tomatoes, melon and mozerella. The greens were extremely wet and soggy in a tasteless pesto sauce, tha few slices of fresh tomatoes but some slices looked like they had been standing in balsamic vinegar for a day!!! The melon and mozerella were not too bad. A lesson on how to prepare green leaves good pesto souse and nicely sliced tomatoes wouldn’t go amiss - the salad as presented should not have been served!!

Never a bad meal at Cote Reigate and staff always efficient helpful and friendly. My fave restaurant in Reigate and visit as often as I can and always book work lunches there too. In fact there should be a loyalty scheme for this as we are probably the biggest employer in Reigate!

Good food and great value set menu . Staff were always on hand when needed and very helpful. Nice place to meet up with friends, as not too noisy like some restaurants.

Brunch with mother. Really good breakfast offer of hot drink, juice and breakfast for around £12 each. Lovely vegetarian breakfast with a soya capuccino - great to see Cote have joined the rise in offering dairy alternatives. Thanks!

Lunch with mother. She had the charcuterie plate and I had the goats cheese salad - both delicious! A reliable favourite spot for lunch and dinner as constantly good. Will return.
