Côte Reigate

We experienced fairly slow service but good food and polite service. Value for money except that 15% service charge is bit excessive. Would go again however.

It was a good experience, and I will use the service again. The service and food is always reliable. the staff are always attentive and willing.

Staff excellent and atmosphere at 18:30 was good - not noisy as we have experienced in later sittings. Only reason that it received a 4 from me this time (usually it is a 5) was that the salad with my wife's Camembert meal was no more than a dressing and my side of gratin potatoes was very small leading me to believe that there was less than one medium sized potato in its production.

My friend and I had an enjoyable dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was superb. The staff were pleasant, attentive and welcoming. I am happy to make Cotes Reigate my regular dining venue. Highly recommend place to eat.

Nice atmosphere, good hot food, attentive friendly service at a reasonable price - this is one of the better Cote restaurants around and is well worth a visit.

Good food, attentive service. 3 courses about £40 per person plus wine. 12.5% service charge included. Easy parking across the road - free after 18.00.

Once again, a really nice meal at Côte and we’re not surprised at all that this is probably the top Côte restaurant in the country. Great food, as always, and good service.

Greeting when I arrived was so warm and friendly. You always feel that the waiting staff listen to the customer. Meeting with dear friend so chat was primary concern but we were never rushed. Food delicious ,as usual,presented well and quite frankly I forget we are in Reigate and we could be in France in a small provincial town .Thank you all at Reigate.

Lovely meal, very large portions,no complaints re the food but they did not stock a basic Scotish whisky ie Bells,Teachers etc Waitress could not understand what I was asking for so settled for a white wine spritzer, so that wasnt a very good start,but otherwise, a really good hot meal, the standard in Cotes Restaurant appears to be very good which ever one you visit,Would recommend.

Like the relaxed ambience and good food. Service is not bad.

Another enjoyable lunch, good food and friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. I require a gluten free menu and Cote have lots of choice which is a bonus. Definitely recommend this venue.

Excellent meal as always in a lovely restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. Cote have the best gluten free menu ever, and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back very soon!

A little hurried, courses brought out too quickly, portions a bit mean with starters, no bread offered with mussels so added cost, a bit more expensive than I would have expected.

Lovely meal with my family, the only complaint was some of the dishes were slightly over salted, service was excellent as always. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My Rib Eye steak was too thin and subsequently when cooked it became somewhat tough and lost its flavour. I have had RE steaks before and they were much better hence my choice this time. Another disappointment was the Chocolat Pot that my wife had. Again it was so different from her previous Pots inasmuch as it was a thin chocolate base and too much Creme Fraiche almost 80%. This was changed but the new one was not much better, On the positive side the staff were excellent and accommodated us without demure, a credit to them and the manager.

We are regulars at Cote Reigate and love the food and staff, but last night it was so busy and service was very slow but the manager acknowledged this and presented us with more drink which we appreciated. Hopefully just a blip but we will be back because of your staff

Staff are friendly and service is very good. Good variety on the menu and great food. They also offer a set menu for two or three courses which is very reasonable.

The restaurant is well located well fitted and well staffed with an interesting and good quality food selection altogether leading to an enjoyable good value evening experience

Very pleasant environment, good service, good food, wide choice and good value. Great place for a meal on Sunday without the must dine at 12 or 2pm rules that other local venues seem to insist on.

Service was a bit slow. I had to ask for one of the side dishes twice which came out about 5-10 minutes after the main meal. There was a bit too much dressing on the salad, otherwise the food was nice.

Food, service and ambience were all pleasant and satisfactory. I'd asked for a vegan menu to be available, but was presented with a vegetarian menu instead. I made do with the options on there, so clearly the restaurant chain has some work to do to catch up with non-mainstream options. Will return when this has happened.

Delicious food, but we waited half an hour to have our order taken, and then we had to wait for a further hour and a half to receive our food.

Possibly the worst Dining Experience that we have both ever had, Warm Wine, Cold food twice and a 2 hour wait, so bad the manager let us have the whole evening free........

Good food except one person’s food was stone cold. Had to complain. Got refund but still how hard is for you to get timing right on all food at the same time. But no faults with the staff.

The food was cooked exactly how we required it ,the price was reasonable and our waitress was charming - a great experience and a lovely birthday treat

The set menu is very good value and the food is well presented. Friendly and efficient waiters and extensive wine list with reasonable prices. I will return!

Lovely meal with excellent service and very substantial portions on the pre 7pm menu. Cauliflower soup was delicious! Thank you so much for the coffees on the house.

Uncomfortable seating. Uninspiring food and lack of ambience. Poor sinage within the restaurant leading to facilities. Worst of all. quietely adding an "optional" tip to my bill and not even pointing it out to me. Not a good experience and certainly won't be repeated !

I love the vegetarian breakfast at Cote, it's one of the best I have ever had. Even better with their Formule deal where you can have the breakfast with juice and a coffee for a tenner. The service was good, just a bit slow towards the end. A very good experience overall, we will go there again.

Fantastic staff, really friendly and helpful. I go to cote regularly and the service and food are always of the highest quality. Never disappointed. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

After being seated, we waited 15 mins for anyone to come and take our drinks order. Having said that, the service did improve later and the food was delicious.

We had a table booked for 6pm, as my friends and like to eat early and take advantage of the special early evening price. We were disappointed that there was hardly anything available on the early evening menu.

Usual brilliant service, seemed a little rushed , staff on holiday ? The two ladies ordered salads which to be honest they didn't finish. Manager was on the ball, noticed their hadn't finished, asked why and took two mains off bill. Couldn't have done more.

Cote in Reigate is in my opinion the best place to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Excellent food at sensible prices and very helpful, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Slightly disappointed with quality of brunch (which we've enjoyed on previous occasions); we both had Eggs Benedict but all 4 poached eggs were overcooked and hard.

Great food. Service was very attentive. Be good to take our coats which wasn't offered and we had to pour our own drinks which wasn't expected. Small details it was a lovely meal with lovely staff.

Our party of six on a Friday night particularly enjoyed the complimentary gin and tonics from Cote rewards! Steaks were very good, fish special also. Service was quietly attentive. Will definitely visit again.

We started our meal with a delicious St. Germaine aperitif, flavoured with elderflower , and enjoyed pissaladiere with anchovies and olives. We both chose the Breton fish stew, calamari, mussels, clams all cooked to perfection. August special pavlova was delicious. Another lovely meal at our favourite Reigate restaurant, with attentive service.

The staff were extremely helpful, good menu, food very well cooked. We had a very pleasant evening, nice atmosphere and will return in the not too distant future.
