Côte Reigate

We always feel very welcome here and thoroughly enjoy the food whenever we dine here.

The service was poor. Left for a long time waiting for drinks, they got both the starter and main course meals completely wrong, and forgot one of the sides. Not the correct cutlery (no spoon for the soup) Water not refilled until I asked. When they brought the desert menus they brought them to share rather than individuals. Food was ok but I could tell it was worse than when I went at Christmas. It was a 3.15 sitting so the restaurant wasn’t busy. Half the staff having there meals maybe why service was so poor.

I had a great time and the service was excellent. It was my daughter's 40th Birthday and we were allowed to take a cake with us and the manager arranged for a dish not on the menu to be available, tartiflette. Thankyou for your indulgence and your willingness to go the extra mile for us

We had a 4-year old with a severe nut allergy. The Cote management in Reigate looked after her brilliantly, providing us with an allergy book and reassuring us all the way. Great food and first class treatment.

Granted it was Mother's Day and the restaurant was very busy but the service was very slow indeed. Mussels were not available and the soup did not come with creme fraiche and crudites as on the menu.

Best breakfast in Reigate. Lovely staff. Any alterations to breakfast are always completed satisfactorily. Lovely coffee. Also like the fact that you are not squashed together there is space between the tables.

Excellent lazy Bank Holiday breakfast, the food was delicious and good value for money. Service was prompt and attentive despite the restaurant being very busy.

We were offered a choice of table on arrival (always a good sign) and the service that followed was first rate - attentive without being too much "in your face". The menu choices were excellent as always and the excellent food was served promptly and with a welcoming smile. All round, a very good experience.

Service was slow (understaffed). Steak was overcooked. Fries were cold. Room was very hot. Waitor was friendly and provided a birthday dessert although was just your normal desert with a candle. Wine was also good. Needs some music in the background.

Great service and wonderful food as always! Our first to the Reigate restaurant but, that said, we always find Cote reliable and will be coming back!

This is the second time this week I’ve eaten here. The first time during the week when the service was speedier - the kitchen, not the waiters’ fault. My salad was good but my wife’s fish rather greasy and not particularly well presented. Young children were noisy and not hugely well behaved - parents’s fault. Will stick to week days in future.

We had an excellent meal - there were four of us and we had a free bottle of very good Merlot as I booked the table online. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

Had the set two course lunch menu. Buttered cabbage was sour and very peppery... it should be sweet after checking online. Was offered a replacement but didn’t bother as Hal way through meal.

Always a good meal at Cote and despite being extremely busy and full service was very good. Friends who had never been came and they will come back and she is a fussy pescatarian so great result.

Sunday 24th March We ordered three breakfast, full English, and two vegetarian, all arrived lukewarm, we informed staff, and breakfast were re ordered from the kitchen, however we appeared to have been put to the back of the queue, and replacements took about half an hour at least to arrive, these replacements we no warmer than the first breakfasts. At this point we'd had enough and left. One lot of breakfast cold is poor, the replacements cold is unforgivable. We were not the only ones to receive cold food, diners on both sides of us returned breakfasts.

Food was lovely. We were dining with out two young sons (under 2). We had a booking. On arrival, it took a while to get seated. Once we were, no one came to take our order. We waited for about 20 minutes (I’d already finished feeding my youngest son as we’d bought a meal for him), then I had to go and ask someone to take our order. After that, our waiter was fantastic and very attentive. Just a pain to wit for so long at the start of the meal, with two young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely evening at Cote Brassiere the food and service were impeccable. Looking forward to booking again.

As always a fantastic breakfast. My husband has always enjoyed Carluccios for breakfast and Fathers Day was his first time at Cote for breakfast. He said that Cote definitely had the edge. Amazing food and friendly and efficient staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere! We thoroughly enjoyed a three course meal from the Prestige Menu. We WILL be back soon!

A great improvement since my last visit probably about a year ago. Lunch was excellent, before service and food poor although whenever I've been in for breakfast has always been OK. Good value for money will visit again shortly.

very good choice and quality of food and wine. be aware however that every thing is 12.5% more expensive than shown as this is added to the bill at the end. I don't pay the wages of the staff in my local deli who bring me things, cut things up, wrap things and give me advise so why should I when I eat in a restaurant. Cote you would never get away with this in France.

Love this place! Went for Mother’s Day breakfast. Decided to go very last minute and all time slots on website were taken but when I phoned they managed to fit us in. The staff always give good service and are friendly. As always, food was great and arrived at our table with perfect timing. Even though they had a very busy day ahead with Mother's Day lunches looming , we did not feel rushed at all. So can’t think of a bad thing to say.

Central needing point as from Hampshire, Kent and Sussex but used to work together in Reigate before office closed in 2004. Staff were very friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. Happy for us to chat and take our time ordering and enjoying the meal. Good variety of food available which was well cooked and presented. Great evening.

The service was very slow, and the food was not as good as usual, and the pork crackaling was not as crispy as it should be

Super menu choices on the lunchtime menu, sea bream was particularly good. Great place to meet with friends as the food is always good and excellent value.

A last minute Sunday lunch booking for 3 adults. Lovely food, good service and pleasant ambiance. Always a good dining experience at Cote.

We had a set meal at lunch and it was absolutely delicious and such good value. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was very good and both waiters were so nice and friendly
