Excellent food and great personal service and good value especially the set lunch and dinner. Could either bring down the price of the beers or bettter still serve draught beer.

This is the best Cote Brasserie I have been to. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food arrives promptly and tastes delicious, which is often not the case for a chain restaurant. Love the riverside location. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely atmosphere for a dinner for two, good service and food. We can recommend the house wine - I had Rose and my husband the Merlot!

Would be nice to have some non-French wine choices, especially at the cheaper end and I think it's ridiculous to charge 12.5% service - in a Michellin star restaurant, yes, but not a chain restaurant. Otherwise service was ok and food was good.

my favourite meal served in my favourite restaurant by my favourite waitress. Perfect wedding anniversary treat. I can't fault the place. From the interior to the menu to the quality of food to the music to the most excellent service. I just love the Cote!!

Nice restaurant and service, but food very inconsistent. Someone in my party ordered mussels which were rubbery and not very pleasant. I have tried Cote Reading 2 times now and I know we will not visit again at this point.

Lovely atmosphere and great lighting. Waiter was very helpful and attentive. Draught from door made food cold though and I didn't like the vinaigrette sauce with my haddock.

The food quality and service was exactly what we expected, but the whole evening was spoiled by our server's reluctance to change the service charge. At 12.5% for straightforward service to just 6 people it was not far off adding the cost of another diner to our bill. Our intention was to change it to an amount we felt more appropriate, but to our amazement we were told that they would 'prefer not to, as it was disrespectful to the other staff'. In the end we asked another server to do it, but be warned that our experience suggests that Cote would appear to EXPECT you to pay much more than the prices displayed.

Lovely atmosphere and food, some of the staff lovely, one of the servers looking after us didn't seem to know what was going on but maybe he was still training? Either way the rest of the staff were lovely and food/drink high quality

Only one meal from five of us was disappointing. The service was excellent as always; very attentive and considerate as we we're balancing the needs of a toddler.

Our favourite restaurant outside London ( in London try Pierre Victoire/Prix Fixe) another great meal. Second visit in two weeks first was in Liverpool and a good wine find too

great food, good service, but mostly my good friends. prosecco could be reduced in price. we meet every 3 months and sometimes find it hard to choose from the menu as I've had everything before. Would like more new options.

I took my sister here for the first time. The welcome was lovely, the service great, the menu wonderful and the prices very good. The standard is always high in Cote and I will always go back.

Walked in with a family in front and a couple behind both were seated before me, I had no apology for being ignored. Then had to wait 30 minutes for our mains. Plenty of other restaurants in the Oracle, I'm not coming back in a hurry

A lovely venue on the Riverside in Reading. Easy car parking very good food at reasonable prices and very attentive staff. Also a restaurant that caters for adults not children which is nice.

Cote Braserie provide quality food and friendly service. The ambience and music were pleasant. We were delighted to be given complementary drinks to celebrate our wedding anniversary

This was a birthday celebration and the staff were excellent , kept us topped up with drinks(great Kir Royale's) and fantastic food. Will definitely be partying here again!

Really varied menu I can recommend the fish pie! staff were really friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. We were kept topped up with drinks all evening. Great food and service.

The service was good and charming the food lovely and a good time was had by all the party. We took someone who had never been to s Cote before and the reaction was excellent!

Delicious breakfast and for a brilliant price. Very friendly staff, couldn't have been more helpful and professional. Would definitely recommend for breakfast. It is grat.

Really beautiful steak! If anyone are steak lovers, this is the place!! The staff were swift and busy and managed to keep a lively atmosphere in the room. Very impressed and I will be back for more food soon!

Overall good, the service, cleanliness excellent. The Manager very helpful as the Butterfly Chicken with mushroom sauce was rather dry. Absolutely love Cote, been to your restaurants in Liverpool, Exeter, Oxford, Reading & Marlow, which I personally think has the best vibe, service & slick attention to detail but the key point with all the restaurants is consistency & value. As always, very good. Service excellent - not pushed into rushing meal. Everything done with smiles but not over the top. Would recommend to anyone.
