Great service lovely food and not busy on a Sunday eve, parking nearby, offered the menu a specials menu and a daily specials menu but good choice

As ever the food was very nice. Seems fresh and well cooked. The waiting staff always polite and efficient. My only complaint, if it is a complaint, is the size of the table. We were a table of four, we were sat on a round table, and what with a couple of side dishes and two glasses each, one for wine and one for water...and with the bottles with the complimentary water in the tables are far to small...Otherwiese a lovely meal.

Good atmosphere and food, as ever. We waited a little while to catch someone's eye to get our bill, but that was a very small thing in a pleasant evening. Overall, just as expected, which is why we keep coming back.

Excellent service and lovely food every time. Very glad that Cote Reading is my local. Really enjoyed the Salmon Hollandaise June special, lovely accompanying asparagus.

We were a party of 5, we all chose differently and everyone enjoyed what they had. Delicious food. Would recommend Breton fish stew! 1 of our party vegetarian and there was a separate vegetarian menu with great choice of dishes. Hope we can visit again soon.

Food was delicious and hot. Waiter was attentive but wasn't too much "in your face" Quite busy with a good atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

Friendly welcome from very accommodating waiting staff. Excellent food as alway and, in particular, the anchovy pissaladière and the Lagarde rouge never fail to disappoint.

We were given a friendly welcome, seated promptly with the high chair and offered drinks and olives or pans / or bread including complimentary water.

Our visit to Cote in Reading is always very warm and welcoming. The food was as delicious as usual and our friends we took have already said that we should meet there again. I would have rated our visit a 6 but I do have to say the waitress who served us was a little short in her approach. Our friends did comment on this too. Maybe she was just having a bad day?

Excellent service by a very friendly waiter and good food too all helped to make a very enjoyable evening! Would highly recommend Cote Brassiere Reading.

Dirty forks, intrusive waiters. Pain au chocolate was dry and stiff, probably too old. For such a price, we were hoping for a better experience.

I visit here a lot and its always amazing. The manager is wonderful, a really nice guy and the other staff are all lovely and friendly. food is always delicious!

The food at Cote Brasserie was excellent and I found it to be good value for money. The service was good but could have been slightly more attentive.

Enjoyed a lesuirely saturday lunch, perfect for a girls get together. Really enjoyed the Kir Royale. I had the lamb which was perfectly cooked and we both had a chocolate dessert. Service was attentive but unobtrusive and we were not rushed in anyway at all. Thank you.

I received a warm welcome at Cote. The staff were so polite, friendly and professional. The food was lovely and reasonable priced. I had booked to be sure of getting a table. It was a great lunch. I love going to Cote.

I met a friend for lunch here today. The atmospherie is very condusive to a quiet lunch to catch up with a friend. The food was excellent as usual with friendly efficient service. What I have come to expect from Cote!

Relaxed al fresco dinner with good service. Food was nice presently full of flavours and fresh. Although the chilled potato soup was not to my liking.

Me and my friend had the set menu, which is good value. Always good quality food. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal in cote! Staff friendly and efficient.

Had a lovely evening - food was excellent. The only downside is the acoustics of the restaurant are not good - the noise is overpowering when the restaurant is full.

Very pleasant experience. The menu has a lot of choices and the food was superb. I had the plaice and my wife had the lamb rump which was cooked very pink as she likes it. The staff are very friendly and the service is excellent.

The food was fab. The only reason it's not a6 is that we were seated for some time and had to attract someone's attention you order anything.

We had a lovely meal to celebrate my husbands birthday and they had a bottle of his favuourite wine on the menu too. When we arrived the restaurant manager was about to change a table for 3 to a 4 for us, but made a larger table upstairs available to us when I objected. The food was excellent as usual, as was the service. In all a good experience - thank you.

As always we received excellent service. We found the new set menu to be tasty and the portion size was generous. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

It was amazing food (had the Charcuterie board, lamb rump and lemon tart) but it was so hot in there! :( definitely turn on the air con!!

Good food, generous portions, quick service, staff polite and helpful without being ingratiating. We arrived a little earlier than we'd reserved and they were happy to accommodate us.

Welcoming and attentive service. Food well-cooked and presented. Formule breakfast menu was amazing value for money and we left feeling we'd definitely visit again, rather than feeling fleeced (some of the other chains make you feel that way). First visit to this particular Cote but setting, service and food didn't disappoint.

Your staff are wonderful, pleasant and helpful. We were treated as special customers. And the food was excellent as usual - the menu has such a variety.

Although the restaurant was very busy there appeared to be no problem in looking after the diners by the friendly staff and the food was up to its usual high standard

The meal I had was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked Service was efficient and fluid. A little too dark to read the menu easily for my liking but reading glasses help I would recommend them without hesitation

Arrived on time 8.15 pm. No table ready. waited 10 mins until we could be seated. Then waited a further 15 mins until offered a drink. Had to wait a further 15mins for starters to arrive. It was then another hour until mains arrived. 10.00 pm. At 10.30 0 WE asked for the bill. No deserts or coffee offered. We complained to the Head Lady?? She took the price a bottle of house wine off. We didn't pay the 12% service charge! The food was lovely the service was appalling.

A lovely meal and ambiance. The service was excellent. A perfect place for a romantic meal or an evening out with friends. I would definitely recommend it.

As always, fabulous food and service. Breakfast items cooked perfectly. Only criticism was under-done toast, but managed fixed this within minutes and was very apologetic.

Great. Always enjoy eating in Cote Reading, Berkshire. Good food, wine and atmosphere. Varied menu and the Staff very friendly. The lamb chops this time were superb.

The waiters were really polite and amazing! My score is 5 as we asked for medium rare steak and received rare one, luckily when asked to put it back on grill to make it medium rare, waiter didn't have any problem with it and brought as back medium rare steak :) will be back there for sure!

We had a lovely meal once we had moved tables. I booked online and requested a quiet table against the wall as one of the part wears heaing aids. We were seated in the middle of the room and even we found that noisy. We asked to be moved fortunately there was a spare table. We don't like to make a fuss especially when out with other people so,if this could be highlighted as it is a bit embarrassing having to,bring attention to the situation. Regards Mrs Mintern
