Côte Reading

Both food and service were really good! What I do find annoying is that a optional service charge is added. We were a party of 3. I'm always happy to tip for service but when it is added automatically I purposely don't add anymore.

We are regular customers at Cote Brasserie Reading, they serve honest to goodness tastey food at very reasonable prices!! Staff very helpful, they never disappoint!

Lovely meal. Very nice staff. Took a bit of a while to be noticed when we arrived. Had to wait about 10 mins to get menus etc. Otherwise really good

Cite Brasserie always offers lovely fresh seasonal food along with very friendly service. The set menu is amazing value for lunch and dinner and varies each month.

Great tasty food reasonably priced and very good service. Go there often and yet to be disappointed. Today I started off with a beetroot and goat cheese salad, then had an excellent Boeuf Bourguignon as my main course and my favourite Crepe Praline for pudding.

Main course arrived a bit quick after ordering some olives to start. Didn't get chance to eat!! Also chicken was a bit tough! Friends enjoyed their meals although bit small, pudding delicious.

Really great evening with good food. Had the confit duck special as the sauce sounded so good but there was not enough of it and when we asked for some more (for 3 of us) we were given a very small jug. Otherwise really good

Excellent service, v friendly staff; choice of meals was v good and lots to choose from. Taste could not fault - and presentation good too. For our first visit we were very impressed will definitely re visit and also try Winchester. Made for a great start to our evening out. Thank you.

We were greeted warmly and promptly given drinks. The food was excellent and it was no trouble to change the potatoes that came with the dish to gratin potatos. There was a lovely atmosphere. We had a super meal.

Excellent food and service, once again. I haven't yet experienced a bad meal when dining at Cote Brasserie. My sisters and I had a lovely evening.

good and helpful staff food excellent all round good experience.We where given table we requested,and of all the large group restaurants we feel Cote's is the best.

Great food, great choice for breakfast the deal with a hot drink and choice of juice is a bargain. Great friendly service we will definitely return for breakfast again soon.

Overall the meal was very good but portion sizes were small. Also do not like service charge being automatically added. Also when ordering drink we were not asked which gin we wanted just given more expensive premium brand.

A really nice place with friendly staff. The food is a bit ordinary but adequate. If you like to meet friends for a chat after work it's ideal.

Staff as usual were attentive but not intrusively. The food we always enjoy and our new dishes did not fail to deliver. Our wine we had not had before but was pleasant to our palates'.

Just had the most fabulous meal in Cote Reading for my 40th birthday. Are from the 10 year anniversary menu and have to say all 3 meals were to the highest standard as well as the staff. Very highly recommended

No small plate given with starter board of charcuterie. Otherwise we had a nice time, setting was good and facilities for babies. Would recommend to others.

Love this restaurant. From the moment you walk in it does feel special and the food is excellent. The Reading branch is quite large but still manages to make the dining experience feel intimate.

The Côte in Reading never disappoint us, both in terms of their service and quality of food. We enjoyed their recent 10 years anniversary menu which is 10/10 and a complete bargain!

Lovely food, never disappoints. The steak frites was gorgeous and so was the creme caramel. We were a party of 4 and we all enjoyed our different food options. Recommend.

We had a great evening at Cote's. We were a mixed age (18-76!) group of 7 out celebrating my Sons Birthday. Service was spot on, setting is always very good, Staff were attentive and professional. Food was superb quality, presentation etc Lovely evening.....

We had breakfast again today, full English...wonderful and filling, one critism ( a small one) the bacon had been standing rather a long time thus was a little hard, but I would not let that put me off going again and again. A good English breakfast always set you up for the rest of the day. Staff as usual very polite and friendly......many thanks.

Food good, as expected. Decor very smart, background music far too loud and restaurant lacking in ambience. Staff very efficient and polite but not particularly friendly as we have come to expect from Cote having visited at least others

Great Food, great service. Nothing was too much. Try to go to this restaurant at least once a week and they never fail. Staff are very attentive.

Delicious food and served on time and well ! Loved the Breton stew and the Pinot Gris . Service was excellent and with our toddler guest 😊.

Reliably good food plus friendly and attentive staff make Cote a really good restaurant experience. The Reading dining area is spacious too, which means that the noise levels are lower than at some Cote venues (eg Wimbledon Village!).

Service was a bit slow and not many gluten free meals offered on the set menu which saved the people I was dining with a lot of money. Nevertheless, the food was gorgeous!

Great food, excellent deserts, loved the service. The lighting could have been a bit brighter as my Nan (82) was struggling to see. Overall great experience

At COte the food is predictable yet varied with many specials and seasonal dishes. The service on the day was great. Whenever I've had any service issues at any other branch, they've always been dealt with effectively

Excellent food and service as usual! We come to Côte in Reading quite often... Warm bread and olives to nibble on, very enjoyable starters (my mussels were lovely), tasty mains and a fab chocolate cake with hazelnuts picked from the specials. My parents loved it too!!!

Lovely food. A friend is vegetarian and was struggling with the regular menu to find something suitable. The waiter then offered a vegetarian menu which then gave some choice. Maybe this menu should be more obvious and perhaps place one on a table...we go there often and hadn't realised there was one!

As always the food was excellent service today was not as good as normal when we got there the table was not set up but we chose that table we ordered bread we then had to ask for plates we also had to ask for water this is normally something which is done automatically

As usual the food and service was exemplary. It was a nice touch to be greeted with Kir Royals for my birthday. The set menu offered an excellent selection of dishes and it was particularly generous to include seafood linguine in the choices.

Great service and food as always, clean restaurant and xtremly efficient staff, our food was served only in 4 minutes after ordering starters! One of the default places for a good experience.

Excellent customer service and then food was amazing would go back tomorrow! Made us feel very welcome there was a slight wait for starters but they made up by making sure to get us bread and didn't charge us for the starters.

I booked a table for two for my Wifes Birthday meal. The food, service and atmosphere was great and made for a very plesent evening.

Standard of service and quality of food excellent. The restaurant is always welcoming and staff are friendly and attentive. Essence of French cooking in that dishes are relatively simple but great on flavour.

Excellent cuisine. Good value for money nice environment this is probably one of the best places in reading to eat next to the river at the reading river walk.

Excellent choice glutenfree food. Wonderful food and service. Lovely French cuisine and impeccable attentive staff. Comfortable restaurant in an excellent location for our cinema visit later.
