it was for my boyfriends 30th birthday. and it was amazing!!!! food was delicious, plentiful. only compliant not enough avocados or walnuts in the Chicken and Walnut Salad. my pork belly was to die for!!! to match the food service was on point. never had a empty drink

Good setting, fantastic staff & great food. I hadn’t been to the new development by the river before, and it’s a good place to go if you’re looking for a restaurant. I was very impressed by the service in Côte, and the menu had lots of interesting choices.

Despite being a chain, the place has maybe some of the best food in town although quality of preparation does some times unfortunately vary. Still strongly recommended.

The Early bird menu is fantastic value and is unusually varied compared to other restaurants. Unsurprisingly they were very busy but still managed to give good service and It was delicious.

We all enjoyed the meals we had. The food was very good and service was good. We liked the seating area we had at the back of the restaurant and would ask for that area when we come again. Many thanks Linda Dielhenn

Excellent food and service as always. The waiter clocked that it was my birthday so I was given a complimentary kir royale and my pudding plate was decorated with a candle. This is always out first choice of restaurant wherever we are in the country.

We went there for my birthday meal and had free Kir Royals. Very nice! They were followed by a scrumptious meal, It was a lovely ambience and our waiter was very friendly. Overall a very pleasant evening.

The food was very good but I only gave a 4 because we were squeezed in and practically sitting on top of the next table. Also I was not impressed that we were charged 12.5 percent service charge. There was only four of us so was not happy to get charged this. I know it is optional to pay but it was added onto the bill. For this reason I will probably not go back to this restaurant.

Reasonable quality, French-style chain. Food is nice, but not inspiring - "safe" - and a wee bit overpriced. The ambience is subdued, but the main rooms are rather cavernous and so can get rather noisy in the middle when it's full. Try to book one of the booths at the back.

The food was good and the service was quick. The atmosphere and decor were enjoyable. However, the overall dinner was a little expensive. We don't recommend the onion soup. Too much cheese.

This was my first visit to any Côte restaurant and it won't be my last .... I'll be back again in 2017! Great atmosphere, fantastic choice of dishes very reasonably priced. The staff were great ... attentive and cheerful without being intrusive. The food was attractively presented and was delicious. Overall, a lovely experience.

The food & service are excellent. Been many times & never been disappointed. We usually go at lunch time, & is excellent value for money.

Lovely place, food was absolutely amazing! Had the sea bass with potatoes, definitely going back in the future! Relatively inexpensive and great service. Have been there for breakfast as well which is epically as good.

My friend and I had a great meal here. We wanted somewhere quiet and we got that here. It meant we were able to catch up without having to compete with noisy people at other tables. The staff were really attentive. The food was wonderful. The prices were good. I'll be back.

There were 5 of us and we needed to be in the centre of Reading. This was the obvious place to choose. We were shown to a table which was far enough away from others that we could talk and hear each other. The service was excellent, the staff were very pleasant, the food was delicious. We had a great meal.

Love Côte never had a bad meal at any of the Côte restaurants. It was quiet so service was quick.we look forward to our next visit.

We are fans of the Cote in Reading and we visit probably every month after we have watched a film in the cinema nearby. We have never had a below average meal, the food has always been good. Very good food and pleasant staff. The atmosphere is very European and it's nice to enjoy different cuisine to the normal high street restaurant choices.

Booked table online for 3 plus 2 yr old. Waited at door few minutes to be seated. No highchair offered. When child's meal was served no teaspoon provided for child only large knife and fork! Had to leave seat and ask. Husband's duck meal was chewy which he left all around the plate. No one asked how our meal was so my husband called waiter. Offered another meal but we were almost finished then so declined. Waitress did take off duck meal on bill but then we were charged over £4 for service!! We were taking out grandson and daughter in law so was embarrassing asking for service to be removed. All in all not a pleasant experience.

Food was well prepared and delicious. Staff and service were first class. Always enjoy a meal at "Cote", have been to several of the branches, all are very good.
