Everything was perfect. Many thanks to all the staff, they were very attentive and the food was great.

Great food. Well up to Cote Standard. Loved the rhubarb and gin martini.

We could not fault the service or the food. The restaurant is very well set up to deal with Covid. The complimentary rhubarb cocktail was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. I am very sorry that there are so few customers at the moment. Thoroughly recommend.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Reading. The food is always great and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We were very excited when you finally opened back after the long closure and visited already twice in last few weeks. Please slice your bread a little thicker :)

Cote have made a bad decision to not offer their lunchtime special menu. I doubt I will continue to support this chain unless they re-instate it. I an happy to spend £20 approx on lunch but not any more

We arrived at 12 and shown to our table by a very nice waiter, ordered our food which arrived promptly,and was very nice indeed I am so glad you have reopened as it is my favourite restaurant 10 out of 10 thank you x

Felt safe, lovely to see familiar staff faces again. Been enjoying Cote at Home, great to be back in the restaurant.

We have a lovely meal. The service was excellent - attentive and helpful. We really appreciated the effort to create an enjoyable and relaxed experience despite restrictions and the 10pm curfew.

Delicious as always and great service!! Sad to see the duck is no longer on the menu, however thoroughly enjoyed the lamb and steak.

Got my order wrong for the main course, but it didn't take long to rectify. Otherwise, a great evening with good food.

The service was great and the staff were friendly and courteous. The atmosphere was superb with social distancing strictly observed. We didn't have to wait long before our food was served, and it was great. I will be happy to visit again.

Obviously difficult circumstances right now for you all, but service was really poor from end to end. Food was fine, but when you are trying to win back customers you need to be doing better. Good luck!

There was no additional distancing of tables as would be expected. We had to wear masks to/from our table but the tables were less than one metre apart, no different to normal. Felt rather uncomfortable.

Felt very safe and food up to the usual high standard. I particularly enjoyed my crab starter.

Good choice of food and good value. Lamb loin chops excellent, tasty and very filling. Breton fish stew also very full of seafood. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Professional, wearing visors and space between tables so felt comfortable. Hope to be able to go back depending on restrictions and infection rate.

Just like our second home. just as relaxing as always and just as delicious as always. only one issue - my wife was addicted to the steak tartare which has disappeared from the current menu.

Unfortunately my girlfriend meal was very disappointing, she ordered salmon and garlic bread. The salmon was dry and the garlic bread was reheated and very greasy. We complained and they replaced the food which was a lot better. It was my girlfriend’s birthday, so it was disappointing experience as we didn’t eat at the same time.

This was our first visit back since lock-down started in March and it was worth the wait. The fresh melon and ham were fantastic; the Breton chicken is in a league of its own. We were so pleased to see the same friendly staff again who make Cote above average. Great value - love Cote - 10/10.

The staff were very attentive and the food was very good to your usual high standards. Our only complaint was the extremely high ambient noise level when arriving at 12:15. There seemed to be a party of about 20 ladies at full chat volume which was verging on painful. Whilst one appreciates that you cannot reduce their volume, the multitude of hard surfaces with little absorbance does little improve the dining experience.

Booked a table as soon as i heard Reading branch was reopening. It was great as usual!! Food lovely, staff great, any minor probs, delays sorted without question! My tag line for Reading Cote is still. "Never been disappointed!!". We love it! Ged.

Great staff, food and service - always consistent and enjoyable

We always have a fantastic experience at Cote Reading. The food is always extremely good and the team are always very friendly and attentive to ours and other customers needs. We have eaten there once or twice a week in the past so the team know us quite well and we always have a good chin wag them. We also love the menu which also has seasonal options as well.

Because of this dreadful covid we have waited a long time. I had been given vouchers for my birthday . We were so looking forward to eating at your restaurant. We sadly didn't get to you before lock down. BUT OUR VISIT TODAY WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT.
