Good food, good service, free bottle of wine. Can't complain at all. I had French onion soup and the duck. Partner had baked cheese and fish pie

Took new date to Cote and the service by Bene was great and the food really good. This place is always up to speed with good attention to detail and very reasonable prices.;

Excellent meal and service terrific . We enjoyed our visit to Cote in Reading which was the occasion of a friend's birthday. We are regular customers there and are almost never disappointed.

All was wonderful except our starter of calamari which is a favourite. This time the batter was far thicker and heavier. A shame. The remainder of the meal was up to the usual excellent level.

We were celebrating a birthday and our waiter brought a candle with the desserts which was delightful. The food was excellent as usual and we had complimentary kir royals to start with. Our main waiter was fabulous and professional.

We were welcomed with massive charm and ushered to the perfect table for our needs. Lovely food, heightened by a wonderful free bottle of wine through the Rewards scheme. Perfect in every way.

I met a friend who had not eaten here before. She has an intolerance to milk but this was not a problem. The waitress was very helpful. The greeting, service and food were as good as ever.

Very enjoyable breakfast at Cote in Reading on Saturday morning. Booked but no need to that day. Staff very welcoming and polite. Table by the window which was lovely. Breakfast delicious.

An charming and attentive waiter, a pleasant ambiance and thankfully no loud music to drown out our conversation. The food was piping hot tastefully presented and flavoursome. It was a 92nd birthday treat for my companion whom was made to feel very special thank you

We had a lovely evening, service and food were both excellent and there was a warm buzzy atmosphere. My only criticism is that tables are a little small for four people in a party and quite close together - it does feel a bit too cosy at times!

Manageress exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Excellent service & food, good range of choices on menu; very enjoyable experience overall. A great start to the weekend, and very repeatable.

As usual an excellent good value meal that was hot and tasty and the service was efficient and friendly. We were also recognised by the manager as regular customers which was nice

We chose to go on New Year's Eve as we'd had a lot of people round over Christmas. The menu had good choices on it, lots of interesting dishes and it was nice to have the option of paired wines or not if you didn't fancy them. We were well looked after and not rushed. Thanks very much.

Not that busy between Christmas and New Year, which meant for attentive service. Food quality and portion size were both good. Recommend for a casual meal.

Reading Cote is our special place to go and it thoroughly lived up to its reputation: from the friendly greeting and service to the excellent food and the best coffee to be had in any restaurant.

Food and service both excellent - good ambience, and décor. Value for money also very good. Menu varied, but could do with changing it every few months for regulars.

Christmas day lunch 2.15. We had a fantastic meal it was cooked to perfection, however felt a bit rushed towards the end of our meal, our coffees and cheese boards were bought to us before our desserts.

Excellent service throughout despite our late arrival due to traffic holdups. Sufficient time between each course. Excellent selection so even the fussy eaters could find suitable dishes.

Although there were very few people in the restaurant (on Boxing Day), we had to wait for 40 minutes for our first course. The food was OK, but not as good as on past visits.

A very pleasant meal, the price of which was very reasonable and the quality good. The waitress was very attentive and the restaurant was able to cope well with the two young children in the party. An enjoyable experience.

We were very impressed with the service we received on our wedding anniversary at your restaurant in Reading. We asked for some flowers to be on our table when we arrived which were lovely and we had a nice meal .When we received the bill and queried the fact that the flowers were not on it they said they were on the house. My wife and I are regular customers to your restaurants and were very grateful for the gesture and will pass on our experiance to our friends and family. Thanks again
