Great atmosphere and service was quick and professional. The food was amazing and the free bottle of wine was a nice touch for newsletter sign up. The price was good as I was using the set menu also

Great food. Good service. Lovely friendly atmosphere. We have had many a meal at Cote in Reading. Celebrated important events there and have always had a good time with the help of the brilliant staff.

Great food, great wine, lovely staff, I had the Duck Breast, Succulent and full of flavour, the cherries burst in your mouth with a gush of alcohol which breaks through the strong flavour. GF had the cod supreme, lovely and flakey with an excellent texture. Followed with the Citron Tart, exceptionally lemony. All perfect, no faults. Love it at cotes :-)

Charming, helpful staff, good food (crème caramel to die for) good value menu (noon to 7pm - 2 courses, wine and coffee for just over £20 per head). Love Côte, especially pre-cinema, and I eat here frequently

We went with friends who were vegetarian, and I had discovered you had a separate vegetarian menu, which was quite extensive and that they didn’t have sort out the suitable veggie choices. However I had found this menu not through your website and it was only when we mentioned to the manager Rose that she discovered that if you selected the location then the menus it did not display, you had to select the menus at the top of the page, then you find it. They were delighted to have found a restaurant that catered with far more vegetarian options than usual. We all throughly enjoyed our meal, and the service was excellent.

As always service and food were very good. You can feel confident that everything will be how you want it to be. Very good value and nice atmosphere.

Delicious food. Really excellent quality steak and perfectly cooked. Lovely staff and ambience too. I even got a free kir royale because it was my birthday.

As always, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and good food. Service was attentive but VERY slow - considering that 12.5 pc service charge is added to the bill, this is really not acceptable.

Very enjoyable evening birthday meal for my husband, very welcoming staff, greeted with a smile and then was given a complimentary glass of wine, whilst we looked over the menu, never felt at anytime rushed. thank you Cote's keep up the good services.

Service was very poor. We waited over an hour an a half for our food and the drinks took over 45 minutes to come. The steaks were also very fatty.

Overall, a pretty good experience. But... had to re-order the wine as it wasn't chilled... and had to wait for the side dish to arrive a few minutes after the main course was served. Still, the food was good.

Very tasty meal (as usual) with excellent service. A minor problem with one of our chosen dishes was acknowledged and corrected by the attentive manager without fuss. Thanks again to Cote Reading......we will be back.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it was a good experience. The atmosphere, service, quality of food and drink and value for money were all good.

Happy to accommodate 8 people on Easter Sunday. Food was lovely, service a little slow at times, but not a problem as we were busy chatting! Would visit again.

We had the three course meal on Wednesday (£13.50) which is served 12noon until 7pm. We opted for the Tuna Rillettes and Baby Gem Salad as starters. Followed by one Sea Bream, one Chicken and one Steak Frites (£2 extra supplement), then Chocolate Pots and Creme Caramel. All lovely apart from the Steak which was tough. Don't waste your money on this option! The restaurant is bright and clean and the staff were excellent but be aware a set 12.5% is added to the bill which we feel is too steep!

Good food, nice wine couldn’t ask for more really. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating all in all a very enjoyable evening.

Saw 2 friends I hadn’t seen for ages. After a lovely lunch we sat there for ages chatting and catching up. After we had paid, the manager came over and asked if we would like coffee on the house. What a nice gesture!

Excellent meal, excellent service. Would highly recommend Côte Reading. We asked to share the cheese board for dessert and they cut the cheese portions in half for us for the perfect sharing platter.

Reception was very friendly and good, the staff were attendant and dealt with us very well. The food was good and the order was spot on.

Our waiter was very polite and knowledgeable in both the food and wine menu and took the time to help us making our decision. The service was also quick. Happy experience, would recommend.

Good service and food was good but it was loud in there! It was very hard to hear each other speaking.

We had an excellent meal and the two guests who's birthday it was received a glass of bubbly on arrival and a candle in their desert which was a lovely touch!
