Côte Reading

A good experience though my friends’ Pork Tenderloin from the Prestige menu was inferior in quality and quantity to the same dish I enjoyed at Cote Festival Hall last week.

Gorgeous restaurant with a great atmosphere and brilliant service. Would definitely recommend.

Last night was really great food. The carrots was extremely good 👌. The only downside was the music 🎶 they play it’s very annoying 🤥 Otherwise a great meal...

The usual excellent service and great choice of food at a very reasonable price. This is the restaurant I visit most often as never disappoints.

Great food and service. If there is any complaint it would be that it is very noisy due to the number of diners in the restaurant, but that in itself shows how popular it is.

In my opinion Cote is the best restaurant in Reading. Some time ago we quite often have visited a different restaurant London Street Brasserie, but after they spoiled my husband Birthday by their bad food, we forgot about this restaurant and now go to Cote Reading only. Cote Reading - it is good service, good food.

We were disappointed by level of the restaurant, because we fought Cote Reading is high level restaurant, but realized that it is asylum. This is good to help homeless, but not in a restaurant, because homeless people can bring to a restaurant different illnesses, infections. This is unsanitary.

Nice place, but service and food service is not good , we were still waiting for for 2 aperitifs after our starters had been finished. Server asked one of our party if they wanted another beer they replied no because they were driving but they opened and gave him one anyway we returned it but they still charged us for it and the missing aperitifs.

I booked for a birthday meal with my friends and it was perfect! They were so welcoming and really made my birthday special. The food is always amazing, but the staff is what makes this place!

Excellent and friendly service, will definitely go again. Very accommodating with special diets and drinks. The birthday girl was treated with free drinks. Perfect day out.

OK, better than many of the chain multiples. Nice atmosphere and decent staff. <y charcuterie starter was OK but a bit limited in terms of meat variety but, as I say, OK and OK for the price. Wife's FOS perfectly sound. My sole was somewhat astringent and the spinach was overpowered by the sauce (too much of an aniseed-derivative I fear). Wife's duck pronounced excellent. Overall not bad at all but I prefer owner-operated establishments. But I'd visit again if pushed.

Our meal was very tasty and of high quality, service was good and attentive. We were allowed as much time as we wanted to sit and enjoy our lunch. so it was relaxing.

Superb table service with knowledgeable staff. We both enjoyed the food and approved of the wide choice of courses even though it was limited from the 'set daytime menu'.

I absolutely loved Côte Brasserie in Reading. Food is absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Atmosphere is lovely and staff attentive, polite and always provide service with the smile. I highly recommend.

Very extensive menu with monthly specials also special lunch menus reasonable priced with two or three courses.The staff are very friendly and professional, able to help with making choices.

Had a late mid afternoon leisurely lunch with friends. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. They were very attentive but not intrusive. The menus have a lot of choice. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed our visit and will return.

It was a busy night at Cotes, and it was a bit tricky catching a waiter's eye. But the quality of the food and the speed of the food arriving were both perfect! We had a voucher for wine, and the waiter happily accepted it. Great for romantic occasions or just a nice meal.

We needed a quick lunch and the service was extremely efficient. The plat rapide was indeed rapide and very tasty. Reception, service and settling the account all done well by friendly staff!!

This was not my best experience. The staff were very pleasant but they got the order slightly wrong and I had to send my meal back for it to be cooked as I had asked. Then dessert took ages to come. Perhaps they were just understaffed. However this will not put me off going back.

A great lunch for birthday service was a bit mixed restaurant wasn’t very busy so no real reason for it but overall happy. Will definitely return

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was delivered quickly and as expected. Only niggles were that we were not made aware creamed spinach had aniseed in it and white wine was not very chilled.
