As usual, we were received with a friendly welcome, good, unhurried service, an excellent menu to choose from and nicely prepared food ~ a most enjoyable evening !

Early family get together for Farther’s Day. Enjoyable evening with good food and service.

It was nice. Not a very attractive location but inside it ok. Nice steak and good quals chicken. Clean loos and convivial atmosphere as well.

We were given pre dinner drinks “on the house “ and found the food we were served excellent. Beautifully presented and of a high standard, with fresh and well chosen ingredients. Top marks all round. We will be back.

An excellent experience. We were most impressed by the thought, organisation and presentation associated with serving over 20 people with their chosen meals with no bother or complications. Add to that the excellent food and you served up a memorable evening for us all. Thanks you.

Good portions of beautifully presented tasty food. Lovely, friendly staff and a complimentary blood orange cocktail. If in Oxford I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Fantastic !!!!!

As always we were all very happy with our meals. Lots of options and always great quality and at a very reasonably price. The set menu is a bargain!

Nice welcome good food will recommend to others and will certainly visit again. Will look for other Cote Brasserie restaurants to visit in the future.

A visit to this restaurant is always pleasing. The rhubarb martini was so Delicious but should be served really cold. The food was good and the service Was also excellent. I think the word consistent is what comes to mind when I think about Côte Oxford which is important When choosing where to eat - you can trust it.

Fantastic food, great ambience and excellent service. I had the sea bass and my companion had the fish stew. Wow. My crab starter was delicious. We had 3 courses each with nice a very nice bottle of Cotes du Rhone all for under £65 including tip. Excellent value for money.

We are regular users of Cote in Oxford, and over the years have had varying experiences. During our last visit, we would have to say that: Service, Food Quality was First Class and offered overall a well balanced lunch. The price paid was outstanding, especially for food of this quality.

Lovely food just the right amount service very pleasant,will be back again.A bit too confined in space and no where to put your bags.Quite a regular customer.

Excellent service and delicious food - great value for the set menu!

Another Cotes ticked off. All have been consistent. Good food and good service at an affordable price. Service here was possibly faster here. Very attentitive staff. Really popular if numbers were to go on. Fully booked on a Friday night and a party of at least 14 to deal with. Exceptionally good service.

Always good food, pleasant and helpful staff and a great atmosphere. The only negative would be that it is rather noisy not helped by tables being very close to each other

This was our third visit to you, this time we brought friends as we’ve been so impressed with the menu and food quality. Unfortunately last night the following issues occurred: -Constant smell of egg (we were sitting by the olive serving station- I’m Not sure if this is the cause?) - waiting 15 mins to be offered a drink - we had pre booked but had a chair added to a table laid for 3, this meant my husband was constantly being knocked by serving staff as they walked past - my mussel dish was warm not hot and they were minuscule no ‘meat’ to them - the creme brûlée (which I’ve had twice before) wasn’t right. The creme didn’t have any sweetness to is, it tasked like set vanilla Cream- very bland. If you’ve changed your recipe, I would suggest reverting to the original recipe. - also a very roudy group of lads who were very loud with multiple rounds of happy birthday! Obviously not your fault but a gentle reminder to be considerate of other guests would have been welcomed. Positives- -The King prawn starter was lovely, - You kept us topped up with water - The sparkling wine was great - the steaks were very well cooked -the staff were all very friendly

We went to the oxford cote brassiere after seeing a show at the new theatre the atmosphere was great, the food was ok not the best filler steak was the worst I’ve ever had I didn’t send it back as I was hungry and just wanted to eat. The creme brûlée was watery not firm at all and the crunchy top was really thin and for the price it was small. Some of my party were happy with their food but some of us were very disappointed. We also felt extremely rushed which we didn’t want we would of liked to have taken our time but all felt that this wasn’t the case. Service charge is added on which we paid but didn’t really want to my Mum paid it to stop the beautiful day we’d had being any more ruined by this I would of argued it but my Mum wanted to keep the peace!!! The staff seemed rushed off their feet and not attentive as you would expect staff to be shame I had high expectations and sad to say we won’t be back.

Very busy and noisy on Saturday at 5pm. Crowded, Staff. Helpful. Burgher dry, as were potatoes, little sauce. Not a lot of flavour in escalope de veau. Supposed to be lemon, but no sign of it. Overall, not awfully thrilling.

Once again a very enjoyable and excellent meal, with good service and ambiance. Ideal for a meal before going to the theatre nearby.

Nice choice of food, well prepared and friendly staff. Great location in the centre of Oxford. The tables were a little close together, making it a little noisy but I'm sure that added to the atmosphere. The service of our waiter was excellent. The cost, although not over priced was a little more than I was expecting. Overall, a good experience that I would be happy to repeat.

The service was very good food was excellent, very good value for money and you were able to alter the dishes to our tastes. I think your toilets need updating

Staff were excellent but the quality of meat used for the steak frites left a lot to be desired. You appear to be using different/ cheaper cut of beef for the steaks than you used to and on my last two visits it has been very chewy.

We could not have had nicer, more personal and efficient service. Although there are many places to eat in Oxford we would definitely return to Cote for its convenient location, warm welcome and reliably good food.

It was really great … the seating arrangement for five ladies, the food and the friendly service. We'll definitely come again. Us ladies may have been a bit noisy though .. sorry!

The evening didn’t start off too well. The table we booked wasn’t ready and we waited 30 minutes to be seated. The staff offered us Kir Royale as compensation which was very nice. However then our Hors D’oeuvres arrived at the end of our starters and my son had an issue with his starter not only once but twice. We persevered and so did the staff with us who were attentive and managed the whole situation so well that despite them voluntarily removing the service charge we felt compelled to add it back in. Overall we had a great night and thank you to all the staff at the restaurant. We would certainly return in the future.

We were promptly seated with menu’s and brought out water. The food was good as usual and the service attentive.

Walked in seeing different people and wounderd if it was going be a disaster, How wrong could I be. Food was absolutely amazing better than before bye far. If you have not tried this restaurant you must , Thanks to all the staff and chef loved it.

My friend and I meet her for lunch at regular intervals. The staff were very accommodating, leaving us to enjoy our lengthy chats. The complimentary cocktail was delicious and the quality of the food was excellent

I love eating at Côte. I was on a work trip and so was dining alone, and I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. I usually prefer to eat at independent restaurants - but Côte is by far the best chain to eat at and is quickly becoming my go-to!

The food was good as usual but the lady who was the greeter was a bit off, certainly not the happiest or friendliest person I have ever met, considering it was her job to meet and greet she did not leave a good impression! She almost had a surly tone! When we left she didn’t even bother saying goodbye! Our waitress was fine. Shame as we use cote quite regularly when we pop into oxford, there are plenty of other places with good food so won’t be rushing back! Disappointing! Maybe she needs a customer service training day to remind her what her job is!!
