Good service, good menu, good food, good venue & atmosphere, good value for money.

Very enjoyable lunch for my birthday. Service and staff were brilliant. Nice glass of kir royal. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Food is excellent and choice is varied.

We had a Great meal as usual at Oxford Cote. There was a small issue which was resolved over and above what was necessary .

Very enjoyable in all respects (attention, service, advice, all the dishes, wine, décor, cleanliness of toilet, convenience, etc) Certainly not Cote-Oxford's fault but that fire alarm upstairs going off a dozen times must never happen again. I offer sincere sympathy to Cote-Oxford for having such inconsiderate neighbours but I'm not sure other guests were happy. I want to come again, and again and I will tell my (deaf) friends as well. An excellent luncheon with some unusual vegetable accompaniments - Jerusalem artichokes grantine. A very pleasant change from the usual chain restaurants. Real French classics in pleasant surroundings.

We were a big group at a super busy time and we arrived an hour before the reserve time, and they made it work, not only that the service was incredible. All my friends LOVED it, they all are super impressed and so am I, the food is delicious. I will be going again!

Very busy today - food over cooked I had pan fried haddock which was very dry. But considering how busy you were the service was very good but not the best meal I have had -

As usual, we can't fault Cote and really believe the restaurant offers the best value lunches in Oxford. The menus really do offer something for everyone, the food is very good (try the belly pork, the excellent soups and the creme caramel) and the staff are charming. What more could one want?

Good service and atmosphere. Food was delicious. Only minor negative if your menu says a dish includes avocado then it needs to either have it in or you explain you have run out. When queried about it I was brought a tiny dish of avocado perhaps they just forgot to put it in! Otherwise another good meal at Cote

The staff was nice, but waiting times between ordering and courses were way too long. One of the waiters spilled some food on my dad's jacket. He apologized, but normally restaurants give you something in return, free dessert or similar to apologise, nothing. I booked our table beforehand on the website and mentioned, that it will be my mums birthday. I am used that restaurants treat you a little bit special on these days, but again nothing like that happened. These points are what makes the difference to choose the restaurant over another one. As the food for us was nice, but nothing special, I'd rather not recommend this restaurant when someone was asking . We had a nice evening at the Cote Brasserie, but mainly because we were on holidays and therefore relaxed. There is still some room for improvement especially regarding customer service.

Staff very efficient but a touch over enthusiastic ! I realise they are trying to upsell but they don’t need to keep asking if we want anything else and repeatedly telling us to enjoy our meal !

Delightful welcome from the staff and the evening began very well., Our food however took ages to arrive and we began to become very anxious about being late for the theatre. It took almost an hour for the first course to arrive, the food was very good although we had no time for dessert or coffee and the experience was spoilt by the stress of waiting for the food.

Good food, good ambience, easy to book a table and enjoyed yet another evening at Cote. There was a significant delay between starter and main course servive ~ probably because the restaurant was busy at the time.

Excellent food as always. The place was packed when we arrived but we had booked a table and the staff told us that there would be a slight delay in serving the food because they were so busy. All the staff are pleasant and helpful and the house wine good value. Whenever we have visitors to our home near Oxford we try to take them to Cote.

I always like eating at Cote - all over the country - but I know Oxford (where I go most regularly) is the best! Why? because of the quality of the service! You can work out our server, because I was at table 17 set for two at 1.00 today Monday 6th May. He was superb: helpful, efficient, humorous. The food was good, of course, and exceptionally good value. And the Saumur is terrific. Please pass this on, Richard Smail

Dealt with our group of 16 very well. My steak wasn't very hot but due to the size of the group I didn't say anything. We bought drinks separately and 1 of my group didn't like the fact 12 1/2% (optional)was added onto her drinks payment. It was removed though.

An early Mother's Day treat, an extremely delicious lunch served by charming and well versed staff who we all sincerely hope won't Brexit! Everything perfect

Meal was lovely but service very slow so we were unable to have dessert as we were due at the theatre for a show. We were charged for the desserts so we were then late for the show whilst this was sorted.

Excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. My husband is in a wheelchair and everyone was so helpful. We look forward to our next visit.

Had to wait a while for our reserved table (and there are limited places to stand!) but food was great and service excellent. A lovely Mother’s Day experience.
