We went out to celebrate my wife birthday, they picked up on this and treated us very well for our visit. The food was very good and we had many of the specials. They provide a chocolate pudding for us to share for her birthday. Very happy with our visit and would recommend Cote to everybody.
We usually dine at our local Côte in Brighton, as regulars there we are always treated exceptionally well. The level of service in the Oxford store didn't compare. In there defence management only charged us for the drinks as my partner voiced his discontent.
Plenty of variety on menu. French onion soup very tasty. Chocolate fondant was lovely and gooey. Attentive staff and good atmosphere, good value for money for city centre restaurant.
Friendly and efficient service. Delicious food served piping hot. Good selection on menu and options for specials and early evening set menus. Looking forward to our next visit.
Great as always. Cater to celiacs which is why I keep coming back unlike other places who don't go the extra mile to get coeliac uk a credited. Staff super friendly and mussels are always top notch
Had a great set menu lunch this afternoon. The place was buzzing with customers and was busy. Had to be at an appoint for 2pm and upon request, the food was brought in good time. Food was very delicious and the service was impeccable. Côte Brasserie - Oxford
Been there twice now. Very good food and service. Don't know if there are disabled toilets, but is a poor place for accessibility generally, which leads me to the other point. It is so very popular and always busy, but everyone in there is cheek by jowl as tables are so close together and crammed in.
It was very busy but the staff served us promptly and pleasantly. The food, when it arrived, was hot, well presented and cooked perfectly, particularly my seafood pasta; the mussels, prawns and clams were all juicy. Excellent service all round.

Always good value, helpful and professional staff and a cheery buzz at Cote. We nearly always go for pre or post theatre and vine a and are rarely disappointed.
Overall a good service and nice atmosphere. Food well prepared and fresh and what you expect from Cote Brasserie. Also, there is a good selection of wines to choose from.
The food was good, well prepared and presented. Overall the lunch was good value, the staff very very friendly and overall there was a pleasant atmosphere.
Had a lovely brunch not rushed great company and great service. Been several times for brunch and dinner. Cote Oxford is rapidly becoming our favourite local place to eat.
Made to feel very welcome and had a lovely long lunch. Food really good and staff very nice and attentive. Would definitely go again. Hopefully soon.
Unfortunately we had to send 2 meals back. But the manager was very good and gave us free deserts and wine. But overall a nice evening.
Really enjoyed our meal. The service from all the staff is really good. They were all Very quick and attentive. Excellent food and wine. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely meal, every dish was well prepared. Would specifically recommend the crab pate with avocado and cucumber on sour dough bread, and the fish stew.
Good food as per Cote. Only slight niggle was the music which was a bit inappropriate for background sound with some weird songs! Enjoyed being in the slightly separate dining area.
Great friendly, fast and efficient service every time. There is a good choice on the menu with new specials each day. The food is always delicious.
Really good in all respects. Food excellent and well cooked, staff great and price totally reasonable. Nice bottle of wine too ! Cote is now a regular place for us.
Good food and an excellent pre-theatre price. Service tonight slower than usual but it was unusually busy through the early evening. We keep going back as its hard to beat the value for money.
We enjoyed the meal but were brought red wine and had ordered white and later charged for the more expensive red. This was rectified when I pointed out the error.
Excellent food and service and the lunch menu very good value. Good central location. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Would recommend highly to others. Thanks
Had a lovely meal at Cote oxford - this time added spinach to our steak frites and it was delicious. My pea and mint soup was yummy and my husband's whitebait was good. The service is always pleasant and efficient - in all a really good experience.
Wonderful food at excellent prices. I worried when I saw the range on offer from the menus. How could one restaurant deliver high standards for all options? Well I still don't know how they manage but everything that was ordered was delicious.
Nice staff lovely restaurant great menu and food served beautiful with great flavours warm and comfy great wine list slow drink service but overall a nice night
Very good food, very pleasant and efficient service, nice atmosphere. I feel the tables are a little too close together but for a sociable lunch or pre-theatre supper, really good.
We had another great meal at Cote Oxford. We have going there on a regular basis since it opened, following closure of previous occupant. Never been to a restaurant which is so consistently good nad excellent value for money. Have been to the one in Haywoods Heath nad they were good too. Will be there a number times in 2017, as we have a number of visitors coming to stay with us and always use the pre theatre dinner. Don't change anything, it works
Great food, well presented, friendly and efficient staff. Will return. Need to book if you don't want to queue. particularly like monthly specials as addition to normal menus.
Very good experience. The service was good, food came quickly but left enough time to relax. The waiter was polite and efficient. A very enjoyable lunch.
Very busy and cramped. Good food but expensive - vegetable dishes are extra. Similar menu to my last visit - would like to see more variety.
Never failed us yet ! Superb meal and service as always. I have to do a minimum of 25 words to have this review posted but I have nothing else to say.
Delicious food- I had mussels to start and possibly best steak I've ever had. Excellent, attentive and friendly staff. We can't wait to return very soon!
Waited a bit, but the food is excellent. Plus they offered us a free drink to make up for the delay. Calamari were incredible. Strongly recommended!
Lovely meal at Cotes Brasserie in Oxford, great food and lovely staff. Very busy as it was pre theatre time time not rushed at all just a very nice experience. I have been before and will definitely go again.
Had a lovely lunch with my partner and his mum and dad. Beautifully cooked food at reasonable prices. Friendly attentative staff who were welcoming and accommodating. This is my second time here will definitely be eating and bringing friends and family here in the future 10/10
Lovely starter and main course, usual pleasant and relaxing Cote ambience - but pudding for (pancake day!) disappointing - crepe suzette delicious and orangey but stone cold.... Manager reimbursed so all well.
i have the mushroom with toast as appetizer which is nice & tasty. i ordered the chicken breast for the main and it is disaster with the dry, hard and very overlooked chicken fillet and the sauce is also something wrong came with very salty. My son has the haddock which made him not happy at all as there is quite a lot of small bones Overall it is not the cote we usually visit, disappointed !
Fantastic!! Excellent service, ambiance and company. I had a very good salad which was perfectly sized - nothing too big. My father also had a glass of wine that made him very merry.
Great value for money especially early evening menu. Have eaten here twice in two days and really enjoyed freshly cooked food served on hot plates ..brilliant! The service is very good. Staff are attentive and helpful. Buzzing ambiance and I wouldnt hesitate to recommmend Cote Oxford
Excellent as always. My husband and I eat at this establishment frequently and are never disappointed with the food served and menu choices. Friendly and courteous staff too. Would highly recommend
The branch is very busy but the food served quickly. Space is always an issue , but food and staff are great as always. Finally receiving more information on reward system. Although still no idea about how the points work , at least start to see points building toward my bookings.
First visit to Oxford branch certainly will be many more all great. Service and food so good and staff very cheerful and very relaxed atmosphere.
Great food, nice atmosphere, and good waiter. We were not rushed for another sitting and enjoyed our early evening supper. Every one enjoyed their evening.
Great food, very good price and excellent service. We chose from the early bird menu. The staff were attentive the atmosphere was busy but you didn't feel rushed. I would recommend the restaurant to all my friends if they are visiting Oxford.
As ever an excellent meal with very good service. Cote Brasseries are always well worth a return visit. We have eaten in several and only very occasionally been disappointed.
Surprisingly large restaurant. Usual Cote menu - good value for money. Service a bit slow but it was very busy. Friendly staff. Would go again
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Cote Brasserie, Oxford, the only annoyance being the extremely noisy group on the adjoining table to us. However, the food and service were excellent with a good choice in all courses and all reasonably priced. We will certainly visit again the next time we come to Oxford.
I am a regular at other Cote Restaurants and genuinely think the formula is a winner. The range of dishes, quality, and price is hard to beat. Why just a '4'? Sadly on arrival we were initially seated by a table of 14 very loud young adults...so deafening we needed to be moved and this request was managed well by staff to a quieter area. One we had ordered....and no complaints there at all, there was quite significant delay in receiving food. Sadly as a group of 6 our main meals came in two batches, 5 mins apart which is far from ideal. I guess this is just a slightly off day, but I would certainly be coming back.
Delicious food and friendly service. We'd definitely go there again! And thanks for the little candle in my husband's dessert as it was his birthday.
Good food & service, the gluten free menu was excellent, a nice atmosphere to the restaurant. We would go back again a lovely evening all round
