Excellent food, friendly staff, premises OK, public parking fairly near.

Lovely food and very attentive staff. The whole dining experience was very good and the set menu was great value for money. There are always lots of great offers on as well if you sign up to the newsletter.

Not as good a general experience as at several other Cotes around the country. Starters were not served together - I had to go and ask for my partner's starter after a 5 minute wait! My asparagus starter was on a cold plate, as was my duck. The fish goujon and chips were good. Glasses of wine good. Coffee was excellent - quite unusual for quality anywhere. Price was reasonable considering central Oxford. Excellent branches visited are at Tunbridge Wells and Farnham.

What a wonderful place to meet up with a friend you haven’t seen in years. The staff were friendly, and patient as we took ages to order as we reminisced. The food was excellent. Highly recommend. Will say, glad I booked!

Our waiter was brilliant. Handled an incredibly rude customer well and then didn't let it affect his service to us. Cannot rate the staff enough! The food was delicious. 100% will be coming back soon! Thank you!

As usual, friendly and attentive service.good choices of starters and mains (no room for desserts). Same for drinks. Water comes immediately. A little slow to take our orders but quick after that. Food quality and quantity very good. Easy to book on line . We used to get something extra free( aperitif or dessert) when booking on-line but not recently. Why.? Great restaurant

Food was as usual amazing quality. It was very busy and we felt, among the large groups eating - a bit neglected at times. Drinks were late - carrots almost forgotten and so arrived half way through the meal. Nothing majorly wrong but not a fabulous experience.

As always we really enjoyed our meal at Côte Oxford. The staff are lovely , the restaurant was full of customers heading off to the theatre. Good job!

Excellent complimentary cocktail. The Veal escalope was very good, but needs to be served with more than just water cress. Fries are cheap to produce and the profit margin is also good .

My son and I have a severe dairy allergy. The staff were brilliant and double checked all the ingredients and the food was delicious. We had a great evening.

I was very impressed with the way our visit was handled. We'd spent the day at Blenheim Palace and got our timings wrong for our booking. On phoning the restaurant to adjust the booking to a later slot the request was handled courteously and without a problem. On the booking I stated that one of my party had a nut allergy. We were all extremely impressed by the way an assurance was given on arrival that care would be taken to ensure that no nuts came into contact with the guests food, even though prepared in an environment where nuts were handled. Also to be given a list to look at of ingredients for dishes was superb and much appreciated. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all. It was so nice to have French staff serve French food and also recommend the perfect choice of wines for our dishes. Once again I was pleased to take guests to a Côte Brasserie.

The service was brilliant and very quick! All meals came out together and were beautifully cooked. We were a party of 7 and chose from the early evening and prestige menus - both offered a good variety and excellent value for money. We will definitely return. Thankyou

Good food, service, and ambience, and a free bottle of wine. What's not to like! We come often for pre-theatre meals, which is also good value.

Very busy but good as ever. Always a warm and friendly welcome and the food is consistently reliable. We were very politely asked by the manager to move to a different table so that he could accommodate a larger party and we were very pleasantly surprised to find that we had not been charged for our bottle of wine! Thank you very much.

Easy and efficient on line booking - very good menu, enjoyed a complimentary cocktail, service was very good and our meals were first class - Shall definitely return to Cote Oxford in the future

On an occasion for celebration Cote made made our day. From arrival until we left Cote made us feel special. Thanks to all the staff that made this possible.

Start to finish staff attentive and friendly. Food was lovely, my only complaint was time between starters and main, over 25 mins. Very small monk fish portion but overall food was lovely

We had a wonderful evening. A big thank you to all the fabulous friendly staff who made it so special. We arrived dripping wet to a crowded restaurant with a wheelchair. An easily accessible table had been saved, help was given opening doors and seating and the soggy wheelchair taken away and stored. Nothing was too much trouble. I fancied the cocktail on last months specials and they were able to make it. Dinner was perfect and when desert arrived there was an extra dessert with a candle in and the waitresses sang happy birthday. We look forward to our next visit. a

Food was lovely as ever. The sea bass was beautifully cooked. The chocolate mousse was light and delicious.

Very helpful with allergies. Friendly staff. Food very good. Tables a bit close together but ok. Savoy cabbage with apple a mistake according to us all!

Fabulous steak and chips served by a friendly and professional waitress. Free blood orange martini cocktails were a real bonus. Would definitely recommend to my friends.

Fantastic service and food. Wonderful choice in the set menus and unbelievable value for money. A bit noisy in the low ceiling areas, but the atmosphere is lovely.

Very enjoyable experience, staff very attentive and knowledgeable , good value for money pork Belly was cooked to perfection and my wife had the Halibut that was served puy lentils and well cooked vegetables all excellent.

Never had a bad meal here! We love this place, the food is excellent, the staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is always lovely. Can recommend the calamari, Breton Fish Stew, all the steaks and of course all the desserts!

Came here for dinner a few weeks during an evening in Oxford to celebrate our anniversary. Had a really good experience. Food was delicious! Service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed a great evening meal as usual and must say thank you for really good service service . Was at restaurant early evening so noise levels were ok .... can be quite noisey when restaurant is as tables are too close

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Cote. They had a promotion offering a free Rhubarb martini, it really was delicious! The staff were attentive, the food was delicious, especially the goats cheese starter. Our main chicken course was very good, however for me I much prefer the seafood linguine which I had on a previous visit. A great restaurant for a meal.

Food was really delicious but what really left me thinking I would come back was the lovely staff. Friendly and helpful and really efficient without interrupting too much. I would definitely come back because of the good service (and of course the food)

We are always warmly welcomed with a smile. Free cocktails then a delicious dinner - the monkfish and the salmon were cooked to perfection. We always have Creme brûlée for dessert, the best we’ve ever tasted, and the coffee is excellent. We’ll be back!

Disappointing! Have always rated my previous visits highly but this time not so good. The staff were really lovely, welcoming and helpful. The food mediocre at best. We chose from the more expensive set menu. My husband had French onion soup with a meagre amount of cheese on top and the sourdough which was burnt in places. I had moules which were cooked well but many had broken shells, some empty shells and one unopened. My main was risotto and some of the rice was too hard and pieces of the asparagus 'woody', the handful of rocket on top was not pleasing to the eye and unnecessary. My husband had pork which was over cooked and dry. We decided against a pud choosing coffee instead, these were burnt and bitter to the taste. You have previously done a great deal better than this.

Really nice restaurant, good vibe. Service slow - had to send a starter back that arrived after all others eaten & one side never arrived. Good food!

Lovely food as always. Staff are always friendly but not intrusive. A special occasion. My only complaint is the ladies is really cramped if there are a few people in there. You can't open the door without crashing into someone but most women are used to this sort of thing!

Set menu is excellent value with good variety of dishes
