Côte Oxford

Great meal. Food was delicious. Service and staff were friendly and extremely efficient. The Oxford Cote Brasserie has a great ambience and although busy we didn't feel rushed. We will definitely be back soon!

Food and service was excellent as always I am a great fan of cote brasserie and can't wait to return my friends came from London and Camberley for a reunion

Lovely breakfast and excellent service. We haven't been to this (Oxford) Cote before. If we visit again, we would request a different seating area or larger table, as our little table for 2 felt cluttered and too near other diners

Amazing ambiance, welcome and service. Fabulous evening. Such friendly staff. Warm and vibrant and buzzing all at once! Loved it (company and alcohol all add to the eve!)

Really good. Family meal with wife and two sons (14 and 11). Great value on the 3-course set menu, good service, good food. Nice bottle of wine.

The food was good and generous without being overwhelming. The prices were fair. The service was fine, and we enjoyed our table in the alcove which enabled us to talk and to hear each other. But this does advertise itself as a French-style restaurant, and I cannot imagine any French restaurant which does not begin by providing a basket of slices of French bread - or chunks of baguette. We had to ask for ours - and we paid £5.00 for 2 small baskets.

Good food and attentive service although perhaps a bit over much. Only so many times do you need to be asked if everything is okay.

As ever the quality of the food was excellent and all our requirements were met with customary attentiveness. Would personally like to see some little additions like bread with the soup and mini side salad with steak and chips.

Delicious food - I had the endive with walnuts and Roquefort and hubby had the French onion soup which he said was excellent. Spinach and mushroom pancakes were very tasty and we had a bottle of Macon villages. The staff were very attentive and whole atmosphere great. I would definitely recommend to eat here.

The food was very good, came quickly and all of us enjoyed it. To start with we were sat near to a very noisy large group so I asked if we could move and the staff immediately gave us another table without any difficulty. The ambience is really nice and the restaurant is always busy- no wonder!!!

Very convenient for the theatre. The early evening deal is very good value. Fast effecient service. Only disappointment was that they had run out of coq au vin!!

I think the food is really nice. I love the steak and peas. Also, services there are very good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We have been to various Cote restaurants around the country and always had a good meal including at Oxford. This one was not up to the usual high standard. The meal generally was good but the apple crumble was not cooked enough. At our main course we were served with one side dish but the other one we ordered was not ready and would take another 4 minutes. We had to ask for our meal to be taken away so it did not get cold. One of our meals was free as a reward but it was put on the bill and I had to ask for it to be taken off. All this was most unusual because we rate Cote food and service highly.

Excellent choice of food. Good food but small portions. Would order a side next time with main meal. Friendly waiting staff. Definitely book a table as it gets busy quickly.

Fantastic restaurant, great atmosphere, fantastic food and very friendly staff. Have visited 4 or 5 times before and service/food is always the same high quality.

Nice friendly atmosphere, we were served very quickly so had time to have a drink afterwards in the pub before going to the theatre, there was plenty to choose from on the main and specials menus and the food was excellent.

8 of us went in the end . I booked a table for 3. And then all my other friends asked if there could join us for the meal before going to the playhouse.So cotes being very helpful ,just keep adding people for me. We had the Saturday special most of us. Which was delicious . We all enjoy ourselves.

We booked Cote for lunch as we were having a walking tour of Oxford, we are fans of Cote and often use cheltenham, we were not disappointed with Oxford! The service was excellent and the manager and staff were attentive and helpful, we were not disappointed with the food either, first class would highly recommend.

Good menu with plenty of choice. So we had an excellent meal, with very attentive service. We will be certainly be back for another meal!

Booked Table was waiting for us, and when they realised it was a birthday celebration some kir royal was produced. Friendly staff and unhurried service. Good menu choice and tasty food.

Again cote never fail to deliver. Wonderful food and very friendly staff. Just one thing - kids meal. My son ordered fish Goujons and was only given 2 small pieces which we felt was too few. We told the waitress but nothing was done.

We love this place!- Great choice of food at good prices and an ultra friendly staff. We had the cod goujons and the chicken poulete grille and a couple of glasses of the house white, which is also very good. Great lunch many thanks

We had a lovely evening and meal but my sea bass was slightly overcooked. I would however, recommend the haddock wrapped in, I think it was pancetta, that my friend had, delicious!!

We were a bit early and the table we were sat at was not to our liking so asked to change. This was all accomplished very easily. The food was excellent and the service very pleasant. Excellent value for money.

Though my Fillet was not soft as I expected, my daughter's Lamb Shank was superb. Our Hungarian server (Nikki?) was very friendly and accommodating, and the ambience is one of the best in Oxford.

As usual had a lovely breakfast, I love the breakfast crepe, so haven’t tried anything else, yet. Orange juice also good, very pleasant and helpful staff. Loos could be tidier

It was a busy Saturday and although we had to wait a while everything was fine - it's also nice when a restaurant is bussie!

Enjoy this location of a reliable chain. Food is good and there is a good range of options. A good wine list and service is generally good too.

The food we had was very good, exactly what you'd expect. The environment was clean and smart. The staff were very helpful , professional and friendly.

Excellent service. We booked a table for 6 for my daughter's graduation. We were given a complimentary glass of bubblies when we arrived. The menu was varied with vegetarian and gluten free offers.

Always a wonderful meal with first class service. We had the 10th anniversary meal and it was perfect. We have never had a bad meal or bad service. My favourite place to eat. Keep up the good work Cote

Excellent food in a fantastic location. The service was very quick and friendly. We had food from the early evening menu which is incredibly reasonably yet fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Well-executed bistro classics, good wine list, friendly and efficient service. Excellent value for money. My only complaint is that the "mood lighting" was too dim. I will definitely go back.

Excellent service and the food is always of a very good quality. I particularly like the fact that there are plenty of lighter options and fish courses as well as more filling meals for those who have bigger appetites!

Lovely food as always... nice service... Crab mayonaise a wee bit bland but all the rest of the current anniversary menu was great. Good choice of wine by the glass...

We phoned to book the table because we couldn't do it on line. We got a great welcome, the manager sorted out the bottle of wine.

Excellent early evening menu - very reasonably priced. Ideal for pre theatre meal - Main menu looked good too!! Staff were helpful and efficient. Would recommend.

Lovely food, ordered from the set menu. Great price £13 I believe for three courses, still good quality. Waiters also very attentive, although waited a while for our bill.

very nice meal and service. Would prefer the Sauvignon to have a higher alcohol content (<12.5). Meals taken, Moules and desert. Oxford quite tight on table space.
