Good food and drink and good value. Excellent service when the restaurant was very busy. Just as good as all the other Cotes we have been to.

Good food swift professional staff happy experience. Seating arrangements could Be better though as it was a bit cramped. Was my first visit but won’t be my last.

We enjoyed our dinner at Cote on a Thursday evening. The food and drink were very good especially the tuna nicoise), and the staff were very attentive, if sometimes overstretched. We'll certainly return.

The food was lovely, the only slight thing I could be critical on was the cut of duck meat. It would of been nice to have it like a breast instead of small pieces of what looked like processed meat.

BIG work group. Had fantastic meal waiters and all staff attentive, quick,polite .it's v busy cote, very small. I was at Cheltenham cite the evening before. Didn't book, walked in ...and Cheltenham great too. Fab staff. Upmarket atmosphere. I've just moved house and live opposite cite Cheltenham!!! Eileen Vielvoye

Excellent value with delicious food and attentive service. The set lunch menu is limited but the dishes offered are quite varied and unlike some French restaurants there is always an interesting vegetarian option. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was excellent; well presented, great flavour and good portion size. Service a little disappointing, plates were almost thrown down in front of us. I usually visit the Cheltenham restaurant which I think has a better ambiance than the one in Oxford.

Great and really fast service for good food! We truly enjoyed our 3 course meal for £13.50. A great deal! We had steak frites and poulet grille with dauphinois. Great portion except maybe for the dauphinois. Not much in my plate. My boyfriend thought the chocolate mousse could have been a bit darker but it was more a question of taste here as I thought it was super tasty. My apple tart was delicious! I truly recommend Cote brasserie Oxford!

Staff very attentive and polite. Inclusive Lunch menu good value. We had booked for 14:30 and arrived at 14:00, but staff made up a table everything from there on was good service.

Many dishes unavailable, inexperienced waiting staff, unable to get order right. Small portions for main courses. Having found a desert dish which was still available, the kitchen burnt it - and this was the last one! In their defence, they did remove the other desert cost from the bill - but still added 12.5% service charge!

Great food for lunch and an admirably quiet atmosphere. No intrusive 'music' so we could actually have a long conversation with a friend. Oh, and the wine was good and complimentary on this occasion. Well done Côte Brasserie.

Very cheery and helpful waitress. Good food and comfortable table. Chicken liver parfait and French onion soup, pork belly and fish pie. What's not to like. Will be back!

We all enjoyed our lunch very much, two beetroot starters and a duck liver parfait, were followed by a chicken dish, fish and beef bourguignon, all delicious and beautifully presented.

I love coming here: pleasant surroundings, charming, efficient staff, good food (excellent choice on set menu) and drink and very reasonable prices. Furthermore, the standard is consistent.

Amazing as always and we were given free kir royales on the house because of a birthday; I would have given a 6 but there was no duck breast on the menu which is what I wanted to order! Also no meteor beer! Great atmosphere and not a criticism, but would be great to have some jazz piano for e.g. playing throughout the restaurant in the background to create more of a vibe!

Fantastic meal as ever. Such a good menu at an excellent price and a wide choice of drinks. Service up to usual high standard. A really good restaurant.

A super fixed price menu before 7 and great service, plus a complementary Kir Royal if going to the theatre makes for a perfect start to the evening.

We really love Cote. The welcome we get is lovely, the staff are very attentive, the menu is great, the food is always sumptious and the prices very affordable. We'll be back.

Although very busy with pre-theatre customers the staff, as always, were efficient and made sure our meal was served in time for our theatre visit.

Excellent food and vey good value. We had a very efficient waitress who coped with the busy Saturday lunch trade well.BUT door kept slamming next to us as people came in and out (especially groups who were unsuccessful in getting a table) and atmosphere was a bit chaotic. Cote should fix its door and would be customers should book!

Good food at reasonable prices. The service was a little slow ( very busy between 6pm - 7pm) and the 12.5 % (voluntary) service charge is ridiculous.

Good service, fillet steak was a little underdone, asked for medium and got medium rare. Wouldn’t go back on a Saturday night as too loud!

great atmosphere, service and food as always. when the dessert I had ordered was no longer available the manager immediately offered that I could have another choice free of charge with no prompting - great customer service.

Lovely food. Tasty. Well cooked. Nicely served. Good value set lunch. Especially enjoyed the fish cake with poached egg. Would definitely return again. Overall very good.

As always the food was excellent and service superb nothing was to much trouble and even when a mistake on the bill was noticed it soon corrected.

Food was very good but service was very slow. We felt forgotten and the waitress went home whe we were waiting for her to serve us.

Party of 4 Meal and service was OK. Food was not to Cotes usual high standard, slightly disappointing. The restaurant was not overly busy either.

Food and service excellent as usual. Only room for improvement would be slightly more space between the tables -our wine cooler nearly got knocked for six on several occasions! Otherwise perfect.
