As always a great meal shared by us both. The only reason it didn’t get 6 stars was because the crackling wasn’t crispy enough. Other than that it was excellent bothe food and service.

Food was amazing and the friendly staff made an extra special effort for my girlfriends birthday. The food and drink was really reasonably priced. Booked online but had to change the time on the day due to running late which was no problem. Would fully recommend the restaurant to anyone. Will definitely come back again.

Cote is one of my favourite restaurant brands and in 5 years you've never let me down before. But I must say that the chicken parfait we had was a little stale - the fat layer on top was almost too solid to cut through and the meat was turning runny. I ordered a fillet steak for the main - it was incredibly small, overcooked and very, very over-seasoned. Even the salad garnish tasted of nothing but pure salt. I was on a date, so didn't want to make a complaint in person, but I was very disappointed. You guys usually do so much better.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The staff were very nice, and the steak perfectly cooked. Very good!

It’s always a pleasure to eat at Cote, Oxford. My husband and I regularly visit after the theatre or shopping trip and always enjoy the food and the service. I wish they would open in Moreton in Marsh! Mary Scott

Lovely place. The food was great and staff were really good. I turned up 30 minutes before my booking time but they managed to seat us. The food was very quick to arrive after ordering. The only thing I would say is that the staff use a door which is a fire door near where we were seated. This door slams closed and is very loud, hearing this the entire time there was annoying.

Delicious food and very polite, friendly and efficient staff. We were made to feel very welcome and our waiter constantly checked we had everything we needed. Really impressed with the whole experience. I have recommended to friends and will, of course, be back!

My duck was over cooked and then took so long to come back when I complained that we ended up cancelling it. You eventually offered something else but by that point everyone else was ready for dessert so I ended up having no main course.... Pretty disappointing for my wife’s birthday meal...

Great evening had, with most dishes of a good standard. Service was good throughout despite confusion over the free bottle of wine offer and out table being billed for it initially. The manager rectified the mistake, but it felt like the system and processes weren't set up to deal with offer.

This was a lunch with friends; we try to meet up once a month. The fixed price lunch menu was very good value as usual and more interesting than the previous month’s choices. I particularly enjoyed the crab cake with poached egg. The crème caramel was as delicious as ever. Service was attentive without being intrusive. A very pleasant couple of hours.

Excellent lunch. Great value and service. We said when we arrived that we had very limited time. The wonderful staff went out of their way to serve us wonderful food and wine with a smile within our time constraints. Look forward to seeing you again soon.

This has become a favourite restaurant to visit when in Oxford. The food is always excellent, and the staff very good indeed, making you feel welcome (even for a table of one) My only little gripe is that I was sat next to a table of nine. I am autistic, and found them very loud and was somewhat uncomfortable. Not really a fault of the restaurant as they weren't to know. Next time, when booking, I will specify not to be sat next to a large group, and I am sure they will accommodate if they can. I still consider this one of the best in Oxford.

Food arrived very quickly. Almost too quickly. The door by the staff area bangs very very loudly! That aside the staff are very polite and exceedingly attentive. The food is to a good standard.

We eat at Cote Oxford regularly and although the food was good as always last night there was somethig very off with the service. it all seemed a bit under par and confused

The food was exceptional with my husband saying the lamb was the best he'd ever had! My light meal of mushroom and spinach crepes with French beans was delicious and actually a substantial dish. Dessert and coffee also excellent. Our waitress provided brilliant service - don't know her name but she was dark haired and said she was Spanish, often mistaken for French. Good atmosphere and decor. We'll definitely be back!
