Always a pleasure to lunch or dine at Cote Oxford. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and their attention to Covid-cleaning is perfect!

Very nice moment, nice food. The service was professional and not too intrusive. Coming back definitely!!! See you in January if no more lockdown! ☺️

My wife and I shared lunch just after lockdown finished. It was very pleasant experience. We both had the set menu meal which had plenty of choice, in fact we had difficulty deciding. There was a very minor issue with the main course but the staff dealt with it very quickly and efficiently.

Exactly what we have come to expect. Wonderful food and excellent service.

Fabulous friendly staff today, one who even leapt to open the door for us as we arrived. Tables were nicely spaced apart. I can't fault any of our meals or the service, it was all excellent. Attentive staff with checking we had everything we needed and topping up water etc.

Disappointing. The one item that both my son and I wanted was out of stock (Reblechon burger). No Vegan options for my wife. What we chose was good but not what we would have preferred.

The wait staff was good but the food was average at best. I had the pork tenderloin and it was both fatty and chewy.

We arrived earlier than our booking due to wet weather, however this proved to be no problem & we were seated straight away with all safety procedures explained. The service & meal were very good as we found staff to be attentive but not intrusive, giving us time to make our choices & adapt the menu as required. Food was delicious & this is our second visit to a Cote restaurant since restrictions were lifted, & both have been lovely. We will return in the future.

We had an amazing time celebrating my partner’s birthday 🥳. Staff were super friendly and made us feel at home, which was a treat as it can stressful sometimes when we go out due to the COVID pandemic. But all staff at Cote worked so hard to ensure we have a ‘normal’ lovely delicious meal. Keep up the great work, thanks Alicia & Jamie xx

What stood out for us was the near normal experience under Covid. We were not told before sitting down, as so many establishments have done, that we’d have to leave after 2 hours, instead we were met with smiles and given a special table and looked after by friendly but professional staff. The food was excellent, including the starters of Crotin salad and Calamari; with two of our party saying the Boeuf Bourgogne was the best in Oxford. I had steak frites and another in our party had the fish. All beautifully presented. The Macon Village was exceptional as were the Kier Royals. Many thanks for our special evening and we will definitely be back soon.

I had booked a table for four at 12pm. When we arrived we were seated at a window table. It was much quieter than usual. There used to be a set lunch menu but this is no longer available. The waiter asked if we wanted to order drinks although we were waiting for one other person to arrive. He kept looking over which I felt was annoying. The Manager was excellent as was the other male member of staff. Food good and well presented.

Very good Parmentier and Fish Stew: both tasty combinations. Pity that the restaurant was so quiet.

ok...... but could have been so much better. We were seated very close to other guests in a slightly cramped corner when ample room was available elsewhere. They were uncomfortable and we were too. Service felt rushed. the staff were diligent but the broad Polish accent was hard to understand (and I run a business in Warsawa). Portion size was good but the quality of the food was at the lower end. The béarnaise sauce was exceptionally buttery and heavy rather than light. In fact it had tarragon in it (which, btw I think is a hollandaise). Salad was unimaginative and quite sour. Drink sizes were generous and the gluten free menu was very very varied. However, overall, given the cost of almost £45 per head I could have got much better value elsewhere.

Very lovely meal. Staff were attentive and listened to my requests - table was lovely location away from the door as specified. Clean table, lovely food, very good waiting times. Never disappointed at the oxford branch.
