Excellent food; attentive service but disappointed that there was no Crumble dessert left at 7:20pm despite being one of the set menu desserts. None of the other desserts appealed so we left without one.

An early breakfast here. Food was good, crispy muffins and runny poached eggs were served promptly. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again.

It's a busy restaurant. We enjoyed its nice environment, good service, and lovely food. Tune stake was cooked without overpowering flavour and the lemon tart was so delicious.

We had a lovely meal.We go to Cote because the food is so reliable and the service is always friendly. The restaurant was very busy tonight and our meal was a bit slow in coming but we appreciated being told that it would come soon and were happy to sit and chat in the warm and comfortable corner we had been allocated. We had the set meal which is good value. We also love the fact that there is no loud background music!

Good service but a bit slow. They’d run out of burgers at 6.30 on a Sunday so didn’t charge for our meal. The meal we had was very nice.

I like the Côte chain. I have eaten in the Parsons Green restaurant as well as Oxford. There is consistency in the quality of service that is excellent.

Lovely food and really good service. Very close to the theatre too which was good because our show started at 7:30 so we were able to take advantage of the early evening menu offer which is excellent value for money.

The menu is as standard and good value. The venue is comfortable and convenient. Our meal was pleasant, but far from perfect. My soup was tepid and as we were seated alone in a more distant area it was hard to attract the server's attention: I had to finally get up and go to the bar to complain. The soup was replaced, hot, with an apology and extra bread. The mussels were nice - but the sauce was very creamy which I did not realise from the menu. Steak & frites needs some garnish. It took some time to get have the card reader brought for payment - again I waved in vain. Given all this, I am not sure why I paid the full 12.5% service charge - I was rushing for my train but I won't be back and the indifferent experience made us decide to cancel plans to go to a London branch.

Beautiful food, friendly service. Only negative was we had to ask for a drink after being greeted and seated, and could have been sold another drink at the end of the meal if asked.

I have just celebrated my 70th birthday at marlow cote and received excellent service with lovely food, and visit cote regularly. Unfortunately after going to Oxford theatre I went on to cote for supper and had to wait far too long, other diners were being served 2 courses before we had our main. Apparently they had new staff in the kitchen , the food was good as always and I will still be going to my local cote

The restaurant was crowded and the food lovely but the service was very slow! We arrived at 6pm and had to rush our payment at 8pm in order to catch the bus back to the Park and Ride.

Nice friendly atmostphere, our meals were very nice. we ate the French onion soup and the Calamari which my husband said was one of the best he had, had. I had the fish stew, and he had the Roast belly pork which he thoroughly enjoyed. Waiters were very helpfull.

Not as good as usual. At 6pm the noise level was awful in the small room at the end. Service was slow - a problem in the kitchen, apparently, and the vegetarian choice was limited. Jerusalem artichoke risotto didn't sound exciting although the haddock was OK. We were on table 61 and our waiter was consistently charming and helpful but we've had better experiences in Cote.

Even though a booked over a week in advance we were seated on the most cramped table where we were practically part of the conversation of the people next door. It was 50 minutes before the received our main too.

It is a great restaurant in an ideal spot. The only issue was there were not enough staff for the amount of people in the restaurant so they were run off their feet. Also the people next to us left with the money on the table for their bill and it was there for 30mins along with all the dirty plates when people were queuing at the door to get a seat.

Nice restaurant nice staff but our main course must have gotten lost which meant a longish wait while watching other tables who ordered after, getting their orders. Shame as it rather dampened a good meal.

I was disappointed with this branch of Cote. Where we were sat was very cramped. Customers & staff kept knocking into us. The service was very slow. Luckily we arrived early as it took them 20 minutes to take our order & then 35 minutes til our meal came. One of my party ordered glazed carrots as a side & after her meal arrived she was told the carrots would be another 2 minutes as they were being glazed. When they came they had no glaze on them at all! We then ordered deserts & coffee & asked for them to come out at the same time. These took another 20 minutes & the coffees were even longer. I will say the staff were lovely as was the food when it arrived!

I love this place. We've been so often that we are greeted by first name and the waitress even knows how we like our steaks! Joking aside, when you get this level of professionalism you know you're in a really good restaurant. This place is great.

They were quite brilliant at taking into account our various dietary requirements. Particularly impressed at the facilities for a strict coeliac diet. Everyone enjoyed their meal very much, excpet I was a tidge underwhelmed by my venison parmentier.

Very pleasant place to eat, friendly attentive staff, good food. Only thing was we ordered two puddings the same and one was cold, which was a bit disappointing, but they dealt with it. Good place before theatre. Would recommend.
