Everything was superb from the welcoming to the price, quality and quantity of food..the staff were very helpful even though it was very busy and they did not rush you out of the restaurant...would definitely reccomend!

Three of us met up for our monthly lunch. This time our reserved table was available for us, unlike on our last visit. The Lunch and Early Evening menu for June had rather limited choices as two of the five options were cheese based. However, we all chose the fish and were not disappointed. The Crème Caramel was as delicious as ever.

We had a fantastic Lunch, it was my wifes Birthday & we were treated to a complimentary glass of fizz & a candle & rendition of 'Happy Birthday' with the dessert....I am in the trade & thought the food, atmosphere, service & VFM were excellent, we would definitely recommend Cote Brasserie in Oxford,

All lovely excellent service from booking online to eating today. We were going to the theatre so the waiter ensured our meal was prompt, cater very well for gluten free which was great. Had a lovely time.

We often eat at cote and enjoy the informal atmosphere, good food and friendly service - this week alone we have visited Oxford and London Bridge restaurants - and not been disappointed.

Excellent food, great service and well worth the price. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Good choice of bistro style food from the Set price Early, Set price Prestige and A La Carte menus plus some seasonal choices. All worth considering. Less noisy and more intimate interior layout than some other Cote venues and less noisy too which was good. Service very good- swift and professional.

We've eaten in this Cote on several occasions and have always found the food to be very good.Today however,two courses had to be sent back as they were undercooked,and two courses(which we didn't send back) were over cooked.The staff were excellent,we were given a generous discount off the bill,and our experience today will not stop us from coming back.

Never had a bad meal here! Can’t fault this restaurant, lovely food, brilliant staff and a great atmosphere. Can recommend the Calamari, Fish Stew, all the steaks and of course all the desserts!

Visit was very good - attentive service, and very good quality of food and choice as always.

Friendly and prompt service combined with lovely, value for money food. I could not fault the meal I had there.

Overall, excellent experience. However, I did find our server to be rather terse and not terribly friendly. After handing us the menus (extensive menus with lots to look at), she came back about 60 seconds later and said, "Are you ready to order?" Otherwise, a wonderful meal in a comfortable and well appointed setting!

Only down side was: A bit noisy at lunchtime with lots of hard surfaces; some acoustic improvements would be great and complete the whole experience.

We were very glad we booked in advance. Its a lovely restaurant with great food and friendly, welcoming and attentive staff. The next time I am due to be in Oxford I will not hesitate to book a table again.

The Cote Oxford is where I meet my friends every couple of months. The food is always good. The staff very friendly and efficient. The lunch menu is very good value

Despite being very busy staff provided efficient, friendly service and the food was good. Restaurant table lay out somewhat crowded; outlook disappointing (busy street with high walled building opposite). Not one of our favourite Cotes Brasserie locations.

As ever, the food was great and although it was avery busy night we were still able to find a quiet corner in which we were able to talk. We choose Cote for good value food and also the fact that there is no music played!

One of my favourite places in Oxford to meet friends for lunch. The only problem is the noise level when the restaurant is full, so we usually book for 12 noon if we are free then.

It was my birthday but I had not notified the restaurant that that was the case. An attentive waiter noticed the exchange of presents and brought us kir royales. it was a lovely touch and much appreciated!

This was our first visit and we will definitely visit again. Excellent service and food. Very enjoyable.

The food was as delicious as usual. However, on arrival our requested table had been given to someone else (we had checked just a couple of hours before that it had been reserved for us) and we had to wait for another table to be cleared. For this we were given free tea and coffee. We then waited a very long time for our main courses and were given vouchers to exchange for a free drink if we go back to Côte. The restaurant was very busy (it was Easter week) and the staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed. If this had been our first visit, we might have been put off going back but we go there at least once a month for lunch and will be back soon. Hopefully the staff will be on top of things next time.

I have visited other Cote restaurants and Oxford did not reach the standards expected overall. I have been to Farnham several times and Guilford once

Very polite and pleasant personnel. Excellent food. Ceiling is a bit low and that makes the restaurant a bit noisy - the atmosphere is lovely.

First time in Oxford and had had Cote recommended for good food and reasonably priced. We weren't disappointed
