Côte Oxford

Very good pre theatre restaurant. We told our waitress that we were restricted on time and she was very helpful. All good, although I personally don't like the "removable" 12.5% gratuity.I would rather tip how much I wanted without any pressure. We booked for 6.15pm and the restaurant was virtually full, so do book in advance.

Pleasant, efficient staff and speedy service. Good choice on menu and food delicious, as usual.

They were really helpful and had a wonderful attitude. The toilet and corridor was very small so if there were people walking in different directions it made it uncomfortably tight, but i couldnt fault the service

Our family visited Cote Oxford last night for a pre-theatre dinner. It was excellent as usual! Three of us had the haddock fishcakes which were delicious, as was side dish of potato gratin. Two of us still had room for dessert - chocolate mousse and dark chocolate pot - also delicious!

Excellent meal out at the start of a lovely visit to the theatre. Both ate from the Prestige Set Menu and food was very good. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Perfect table in a quiet corner - the restaurant was almost full but still they found the type of table I like. Well done all.

As always the service, food and value for money cannot be faulted. We went to lunch for my adult son's birthday and he was made to feel special with complimentary bubbles for us all and a birthday dessert for him. Waiter was attentive and friendly.

I have written my review on the Côte Oxford site. I eat at Oxford Côte quite often. The food is delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly. The friend I was with also enjoyed eating at Côte Oxford and will certainly visit again.

Excellent food and service. The grilled Swordfish was very good as were the special gin and tonics.

Great food. However the service appeared a little fraught. I imagine they were a little bit busier than anticipated. I was somewhat bothered by a a table close to us whose child had the volume turned up high on her mobile phone game. " But this is nothing to do with Cote, just inconsiderate parenting" Will be going again as the food is always great and the service usually faultless

The four of us had a great lunch at Cotê in Oxford, the icing on the cake was when our requested table had been mistakely given to other people we were given four complimentary glasses of fizz which were not asked for or expected but it really put a positive spin on the whole experience!

It was an enjoyable evening,the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great but mine could have been hotter.

Another good meal : crab mayo and bread, veal steak, and a mousse au chocolate. Great wines (4) plus a freebie g and t. Very busy in town, so the place was buzzing. Professional service. I sit on my electric scooter to enjoy it all. Total bill about £60, but I like to spoil myself as a reminder of when I was younger.

Haven't been back at Cote in a while and I am still impressed. Can highly recommend! Food was well presented and suitable portion sizes. We had the ravioli and steak.
