Options on early menu great and timings good for pre-theatre dinner. Service and welcome from who we think was the manager was excellent. Very arrogant French guy (no offence to the french, just the only way to describe him) removed starter plates before we’d all finished and made us feel like we were eating too slowly. He also took dessert orders but obviously didn’t listen properly and order came out incorrectly. This meant a delay as correct order took 8 mins to cook/defrost.

Top service and good food. Reasonable costs, Great cocktails !!! And good atmosphere.

We had the two course set menu at £11.95. The choice was good. We had the fish croquettes, then the beef en croute. The first course was good but not really hot. We had to order potatoes as an extra with the main course which I feel should have had potatoes included. The menu said there were carrots and leeks in the beef dish . Found one small piece of carrot and no visible leeks. And the first time it came out it was lukewarm. We had to send it back. So we were a bit disappointed. The manager did take out drinks off the bill, that was a nice gesture. Overall was ok.

Such wonderful services and such excellent food - could not recommend enough.

We were a large group for lunch so this can sometimes cause issues when booking and getting good service at restaurants but I’m delighted to say the team at Oxford Côte looked after us brilliantly Great food, great service and lovely menu - we were even allowed to change some of the items to our taste Highly recommend

A very pleasant evening; very good service and, in general, a very good meal. The chicken supreme was a little disappointing in relation to the Poulet Breton (more expensive and not really as good) but otherwise the quality was excellent.

Great place to eat particularly pre theatre. Excellent gluten free menu. Customer service second to none, special thanks to Jon who went the extra mile for my daughter who visited as part of her 21st birthday celebrations.

We had a lovely meal with friendly staff and a good choice of food.

We were given a window table as requested which was nice. Could not fault the food. Excellent chateaubriand. Lovely waitress. Only downside was very slow service (which waitress did apologise for). We arrived at 6.15 & had to leave by 7.45 for theatre & didn’t have time for dessert which was a shame.

After many trips to Oxford, The Cote yet again did not let us down. A beautiful meal, staff were very polite, welcoming and made up feel relaxed and not rushed, with excellent service. We had a theatre show after so this made the evening even more special. We always choice Cote when visiting Oxford and would highly recommend it to anyone, but you must book a table as they are always very busy.

If you like being g stuck against a wall at the age of 68 not being able to enjoy your food then this is the place for you.

Our party of five had a complimentry Kir Royale as it was my Birthday but they were lacking much Cassis and were more llike a glass of pink prosecco. That and an overcooked chicken breast were minor complaints. Otherwise excellent especially the service from the waiters.

Great meal and good value only let down slightly by difficulty in getting and paying bill.

Apart from the food being superb, the staff are all so lovely and friendly.

I usually really appreciate Cote - the food, service etc and have been to Cote in Oxford a number of times. It was a pity that this time there was a problem with my steak getting cold because a side order of tomatoes was forgotten, then came cold sliced (ordered hot) and then cold cooked! Mustard was not offered and when requested took too long to come. But - the manager was effusive and immediate in his apology, made amends which I thoroughly appreciated. Of course I will go there again and consider today a blip! (my three friends' food was very satisfactory)

It was a great lunch and the food was really nice. Good for a work lunch out.

Côte is a regular venue for lunch with friends. We had the set menu and all was going well until we received the devastating news that the crème caramel had run out! Côte crème caramel is the best I’ve ever eaten. However, the crème brûlée was offered at no extra charge and happiness was restored...

Went for my mums birthday. Staff were great. Food was a little better than average BUT they replaced mums chewy steak ( and someone else’s st the table beside us) and gave her a lovely tart for her birthday THANK YOU COTE

Delicious meal and excellent service. We phoned ahead to apologise that we were stuck in traffic and were assured it was fine. Made very comfortable and welcome and even given a complementary drink as celebrating a special occasion. Highly recommend.

At Oxford the service was excellent and fast. My experience at other Cote restaurants has been spoiled in the past by slow service. The basic Saturday lunch menu was excellent - good quality ingredients and well cooked. Once, somewhere else, I had to do the unthinkable and send something back to the kitchen. My faith has been restored. I booked on line and 20 minutes later we were seated. The Picpoul house white is lovely and I choose it wherever I see it.

A 430 table for 3 - very good food, good wine recommendation and lovely staff.

The food and service was good. However, I was disappointed that the waiter refused to serve me a 125ml glass of red wine. It was 175ml or more. Also, it was a very noisy restaurant. It would be in the customers' favour if there were to be carpet or drapes at the windows to absorb the sound...... tables are very close together which doesn't help!

Delicious meal and great service. We were even given complimentary Kir Royals because we were celebrating my son’s graduation - a lovely touch.

Very thoughtful staff who gave us each a free glass of bubbles for our friends birthday and were accommodating when we had our own birthday cake with us. Made the meal very enjoyable.
