Restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere with very attentive staff. Good value lunch and early evening menu which is ideal for pre-theatre suppers. Some theatre tickets also give you free glass of Kir Royale, a very nice touch. Food is different, well cooked and presented and delicious.

We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were attentive too . The food was excellent and the whole experience very good. Looking forward to coming again

Friendly quick service. Nice quality food and very good value on the set menu. The seafood linguine was a nice addition on the seasonal menu.

Excellent service and delicious food. In fact, we were so comfortable sitting sipping brandies and digesting our dinner, that we were nearly late to our evenings entertainment!

Food excellent ...service excellent.......the occasion was slightly marred by a noisy undergraduates table but this was not the management's fault and we have already booked for next week.

Had an excellent meal. We made up our own taps style dinner by combining starters and light mains. Enjoyed the free bottle of Cotes du Rhone also.

Ambience comfortable and relaxed. Food excellent. Service excellent. Staff pleasant, helpful but not intrusive. Why would I want to go anywhere else. My favourite place to eat in Norwich.

The food, as usual was perfect and delicious. Let down today by the very slow service Apologies from the waiter but it did prove annonying.

Friendly staff staff and very relaxed altmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. Presentation of food was faultless, more importantly the flavours were as you would expect of a French basserie.

Lovely knowledgeable staff. Great menu choices and wine list. Great surroundings warm and cozy after the chilly outside air. Central to the city makes this an ideal place for whatever occasion.

Overall we had a very good experience , the service was excellent as was the food. The only improvement for me would be being able to book a specific table.

The ambience/décor, staff and the food were all very good. The only downside was having to pay for 2 courses off the specials menu even though only a main was ordered.

We received a warm welcome and even had a choice of table on a Saturday night. Staff were attentive and polite. A lovely atmosphere and great food. I can highly recommend the duck which I had. We will definitely be returning.

Lovely meal and good apmosphere well worth a visit. The park belly I ordered was delicious and probably the best I have had in a long while. All the staff were both friendly and efficient

our breakfast went to another table and then back into the kitchen to sort out the muddle. It then arrived back out some 3 minutes later. My tomatoes and mushrooms were barely warm. We had waited 25 minutes for our order. We love Cotes, service is usually fab. The manager crammed everyone together so they could keep the bottom section free for lunch service - not ideal. We will return but today was only 5 out of 10 disappointing.

Great staff very friendly and knowledgeable . Chef always delivers really exciting tasty food. So what more could you want on a sunny day, fab company, great wine, stunning food. Better book your table soon as it's always busy, enjoy.🍷

Great service, friendly staff. Clued up on allergens, plenty of options on the gluten free menu which makes a change! GF meals come out flagged to avoid cross contamination and they are coeliac uk accredited - what's not to like?

Busy buzzy atmosphere enthusiastic staff prompt service great food. Would have given 6 but disappointed at 12.5% Service charge .... which I deducted ... I like to give a tip if I feel i want to leave a tip ...

As we have come to expect from Cote, we were given excellent food, with excellent service; all provided with a smile by a very attentive team who clearly put the customer first.

Little dissapointed with this visit as waitress gave us the wrong appetiser and the correct one was served with the starter which was not what we wanted. Also side order of vegetable was forgotten and then served when main course almost finished and was obviously just warmed up.

We enjoyed a lovely brunch on Mothers Day - excellent choice & value for money. Would've liked to be able to have a breakfast cocktail but licensing laws did not allow before midday on a Sunday.

Lovely meal Breton chicken so tasty. Ran out of calimari ☹️ Had prawns but too much tomato. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Wine lovely. Will go back soon. We heard from a friend that the belly pork is fab!

We like the competitively-priced early evening menu. There's always a good choice of dishes and very friendly staff. Have been several times recently and not disappointed.

Service and food excellent. They knew as soon as we told them our name that we had a free bottle of wine, without us having to ask for it.
