Excellent food, excellent staff, can't wish for more. Already looking forward to next football season so we are back for more regular visits. The weekday menu is excellent value for money with lovely alternative choices to the main menu, it is a shame some of the choices are not available at the weekend.
Busy for a Wednesday night, so noisy and difficult to converse - the acoustics of the building are not so hot. Service and food as good as ever.
Excellent - comfortable atmosphere, very friendly and efficient service, good food and 5 star cleanliness, what more could you ask for in an evening out
Food was lovely. Service was average. Our whole bottle if wine was poured out between the four of us and was warm rather than a little each and a wine chiller
As always, excellent. Warm welcome, nice table. Menu varied, quality dishes enjoyed all three course from a la carte. Service personal and personable, many thanks to Jenny for adding to the experience. Pity we can't visit more often, but look forward to the next time. Big thank you to you at Côte
Cote was brilliant as always, staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much bother. We will definitely go back again in the very near future.
Went for an anniversary meal with high hopes and had the 3 course set menu - outstanding value for money! Beautiful food with cheerful authentic employees and a subtle romantic setting with lovely design and layout. Will definitely be going back again!
There was a great atmosphere, good friendly service from all the staff and lovely food, everyone in our party enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be returning :-)
Excellent food, great value, served efficiently by lovely waitress. Warm atmosphere and warmly welcomed in. This was our first time at this Cote Brasserie and we will definitely return.
Food was as good as ever...full of flavour. Thoroughly recommend the belly pork. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks. Service was very good too.
Food and service both very good as always. An authentic French bistro which I would not hesitate to recommend to friends. Expect to visit again very soon.
Lovely relaxed restaurant and good food and ideal for theatre royal as just around the corner Lovely staff - nothing is too much trouble - all good
First visit- certainly won't be the last. Food excellent!! Staff very friendly and efficient. Worth a visit for any occasion. Shall be recommending to friends definitely.
The food was excellent. The staff were welcoming as usual It is always an enjoyable experience to eat here. Can thoroughly recommend it as one of the consistently good restaurants in the city.
This was the worst meal I have had at Cote and I eat there a lot. After an hour with no food the waitress told us she had lost our order! We had to order again and the food arrived quickly obviously rushed. I had a vegetable risotto which was horrible, it was swimming in brown watery sauce, no taste and certainly not a risotto as I have had there before. We had deserts which were fine. However I have scored 2 because the manager was very apologetic and did not charge us for the meal plus gave me a card for 2 drinks next time, if I go again!
had a wonderful meal. service was very good. made very welcome. would not hesitate to go again would recommend it to any one without any hestiation
Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, wonderful food! The waitress was knowlegable about the food snd wine to pair with our choices. We didnt wait around to be served and the wait between courses was just the right amount of time. Lovely menu, had a hard time choosing!
Visited over the easter weekend. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were really helpful and friendly despite being rushed off their feet! Unfortunately the food was not as good as we have experienced in the past. All the starters arrived together and were excellent, but unfortunately when our mains were served the side orders did not arrive at the same time and we had to requested them again also the food was not very hot. All except one of the desserts were good but unfortunately the lemon tart was soggy and seemed stale. All these issues were resolved by adjustment of the final bill. The Manager did apologise. We will visit again but NOT over a bank holiday weekend as we feel the kitchen cannot cope with high volume of clientele.
The staff were very attentive and friendly, the food was lovely and the atmosphere was great. The prices were reasonable with good value for money
The staff were very attentive and very helpful during our breakfast. Nothing more could have been done and we had a very pleasant breakfast experience.
The waiter was polite, friendly and very efficient. Our table, group of 4 all selected from the lunch/early evening menu as we were eating before 19:00 and although the portions weren't huge, after having 3 courses we were all full. The food was really nice and tasty and for £12.95 - 3 course meal, exceptional value.
Excellent meal swift friendly service, very good food, also super for Gluten free, never had a bad meal and selection good for breakfast, lunch and dinner
The excellent staff make this a happy and professional venue. Particularly Daniel and Attilla . All the staff are friendly and smiley which is a great welcome.
From the enthusiastic welcome on arrival and the pleasant ambience, through the excellent and speedy service, to the great food and wine, this was a really good meal. Thank you Cote Brasserie.
We went to Cote Norwich for breakfast, staff were very helpful, the breakfast was excellent and extremely good value, we will certainly do it again.
Cote Norwich is one of our favourite pre-theatre venue, and it didn't disappoint this time. Only one small complaint, - too much mozzarella in the salad!
Great service, great food. The 3 course menu had plenty of choice. I chose the Eggs Benedict for my starter, Steak Frites for the main course and Apple Crumble for dessert. Wonderful!
They forgot the soup. Offered me olives, glass of wine, etc., as I thought, to compensate. But we had to pay for it. The meal was fine. The cappuccino was poor. The 12.5% "optional" gratutuity was already on the bill. I like to decide for myself if the service has been good.
The two or three course lunch special is very good value for money. Staff are always very attentive and pleasant, and thankfully there is no pressure to consume alcohol that we don't really want. It's one of our favourite places to stop for lunch while shopping, or an early pre theatre dinner.
First class food first class service and great surroundings.Everthing was perfect from our welcome to our leaving .This was our second visit and will not be our last.
Cote Restaurant Norwich is a great favourite with me & my friends. The food is always delicious & beautifully served by polite efficient staff. A must for a competitively priced lunch £10.95 for two courses. Good range of wine too.
The meal was very tasty and the staff were very attentive to us. We will return soon. The ambience in the restaurant is good, and the place always looks clean.
4 people 3 meals great 1 the chicken very very dry then when we got the bill lots of things put on it which we had not had and our very nice waitress realised this was wrong
A Warm welcome and excellent food at a most reasonable price. What more could you ask for? Very well placed close to the market and interesting shopping areas with great opening hours.
Excellent lunchtime menu. Good food, good drinks menu and good value for money. Restaurant in good location and has a relaxed atmosphere. We will visit again very soon.
I visit the Norwich branch with my friend. We are always more than satisfied with the food and the service. Coffee also good which is not the case in other restaurants. I do recommend the Norwich branch to friends.
It was lovely. Only reason not to score 5/5 was because I have a galic allergy - I wasn't able to order the food that was my first choice. Would definitely go back.
Very nice ambiance in the restaurant and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Menu excellent and we all enjoyed each of the three courses.
Great food. Good service. Friendly. Very good choice of dishes. I would recommend for a good lunch. Join rewards for free items. If you like French cuisine you will like it here.
We had a really lovely meal and would definitely return. The complimentary wine to welcome us as new customers was a nice touch thankyou 🙂
My meal was excellent however my date ordered his steak cooked medium rare and he received it considerably over cooked (medium well) he also ordered the bolognese sauce with it and for some reason received a butter garlic fill "hollandaise" and was told that was the right sauce
As ever great food well served. Particularly enjoyed the Boudin Noir. Spent a really relaxed couple of hours catching up with mum and what's been going on.
Excellent meal, great service and very pleasant surroundings We enjoyed our meal and will definitely go again. Particularly interested in the lunchtime offers and think my girly friends would enjoy lunching here
Fantastic service every time we visit, and the great foodmeans we go back again and again! Will always recommend to others. Easy to book, no fuss
Really great food and really good service would definitely recommend. We eat at Cotes often across the country and have always found the same level of service and quality of the food .
Wonderful restaurant and food. We had a marvellous time!! Excellent service and lighting. Calimari to start: light and delicious. Chicken for main course: perfectly cooked and the most amazing Apple crumble for desert. Everything exactly as you would wish it to be.
Food was great, and very tasty. Although the services seemed abit less impressive. As a revisiting customer I received a voucher saying if I signed up to the rewards scheme I would receive a free bottle of wine. So for my birthday I chose to revisit with parents. Although I did do this I felt abit intimadated when the staff proceeded to go through my emails on my phone, and then my internet to show me that my sign up hadn't gone through. As well as this we was left with no drinks for over half an hour before we left, with a bottle off empty wine placed upside down in the bucket we still gained no assistance. Then when presented with the dessert menus, we waited 25 minutes for someone to take are order before we had to ask if we could place an order. I've been before and service was great, although on this occasion it was less so, although it wasn't as busy as it had been on previous visits.
Pre theatre dinner for surprise birthday treat , received complementary drink as it was my birthday although later realised all those visiting theatre received this so didn't feel so special ! Warm welcome and friendly staff throughout . Tasy , not huge choice as vegetarian who eats fish , very pleasant atmosphere.
Food excellent. Atmosphere excellent. Service excellent. Great wine list! The lunch menu was extensive, seasonal and very good value. Myself and guests will certainly be returning.
Very nice. Lovely food and a splendid welcome and atmosphere. Staff are excellent. I had to wait quite a while to pay the bill - despite asking and that was frustrating but everything else was first class.
