Bit surprised to be offered bourbon or Irish Whisky when I asked for whisky. fortunately after a bit of toing and froing it was determined that you had J&B which is actually Scotch Whisky and all was OK. Food, ambiance and service as good as always in Cote Norwich so a happy comfortable time was had by all.

An off night, I think, because normally Cote is very good. On this occasion, main course plates were cold, so the food was luke warm. The normally-crispy belly pork was - well - flaccid. Main problem was the service. We allowed one and a half hours before having to leave for the theatre - and still didn't have time for any sweet course. To be fair, the manager was most apologetic and offered a free dessert for our next visit - if we ever go back...

Booking, Food & service excellent. However I am extremely annoyed at being pestered by post experience surveys everytime we do something! If there is a problem I wouldn't hesitate to express my dissatisfaction. The fact that we have returned several times to Cote since it opened in Norwich must surely reflect our satisfaction

The food was incredible!!! Get the duck im red cherry sauce it's amazing! Romantic setting - kind of dark and cosy. Service amazing, lovely staff. My boyfriend got the fish stew and loved it also. Was also open on a Sunday night when lots of places weren't which we very much appreciated too!

The food was great but it took a long time to come and an extra portion ordered never came. The service was slow and less than helpful than I am use to receiving in the establishment.

Food well presented and tasted excellent. Staff are friendly but not over bearing, a good atmosphere makes this an enjoyable place for any occasion. Look forward to the next time especially if you provide the wine again.

Absolutely fantastic night, the food was excellent, the service was outstanding. Cotes is a lovely place to eat and relax with friends. It was also my husband's birthday and he enjoyed the surprise of friends being there that he didn't know about and the staff helped to execute it in a great way. Thank you

Good service, nice welcome and lovely food. Seabass was nicely coked but would have been nice to have some potatoes included. Very nice bottle of Macon Villages. Toilets could have been cleaner.

I have been here before and that is why I introduced it to a friend who had not tried Cote. She is a vegetarian and was very pleased with the choice available to her. I always enjoy the food which is tasty and well priced. The service is pleasant and efficient. My only criticism would be that for many with a larger appetite I suspect the portions are a little small.

We are regular diners at Cote, Norwich and the food as usual, was excellent. However......for the first time in many months the service let the food quality down with a flop ! The first course was served incorrectly so one of us had to wait until the correct and requested first course arrived - thus spoiling the continuity of the meal. Then we had a half an hours wait for the main course to be served - having to get up from the table and request it. We have never experienced this before and hope we wont receive it again.

Party of four all chose different things. Steak Tartare was as ever good. Calamari also good and smoked salmon adequate. For main course the crepes are a good standard and very rich. The fish parmentierre was very runny under the potato ... more soup like. Now the pork belly was tiny ... a third of what we would deem a large portion. For a growing guy this dish was not adequate. The 'half' chicken was misdescribed. It was a leg with a small supreme. No wing or substantial thigh. Better des cribed as chicken not half a chicken. Desserts were all ok but after provideing a reward of a bottle of wine to virtually add the cost back on as a discretionary service charge was a bit rich. It made us think about the overall value of the a la carts menu in the future.

Excellent. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, clean lines, improved menu with more fish dishes, attentive service. We will book Cote, London end November as the location is close to Theater we will visit. Wider wine options to include Rioja and Navarra would be appreciated.

It’s a pleasant place and a variety to choose from, but the price dose not reflect very small portions and some of the food being cold, which had to be returned which was just put in the microwave to heat it up. When you get the bill for 4 people and it’s £208 I feel it’s a bit pricey for a chain restaurant. Also there is a 12.5% service charge put on which is optional. So from the experience we shall not be going again.

staff need more training on how to serve at a table properly and not lean over people. They should also be aware when people are in conversation and not interupt. Quality of food was good.

On our second visit to Cote in 4 weeks, we had a lovely meal, served in good time, but not rushed and enjoyed a livley conversation with fellow diners which was a bonus. The selection on the early evening 3 course special menu was excellent. The switching off of the air conditioning so the cold air wasn't directed down my back was much appreciated!

The salad of little gem, lardons and walnuts was generous if a little salty. The seared chicken breast with sauted potatoes was delicious. The service as always was excellent.
