Excellent food as always. Very busy night - service a bit slower than usual, but that's ok unless you are in a hurry - which we were not!

Warm reception on arrival. Plenty of efficient staff on duty and drinks order taken quickly.Parsnip soup most tasty and very fresh bread offered with it.Apple crumble hot and tasty as usual

Very good as always, we will be back. !!!!! Only down side is that we have to make out a report every time we eat, we speak to the staff, that should be enough.

We went with a group of friends after a concert in Norwich. The ambiance is always good but I thought that my portion of cassoulet was rather light on meat for the price.

Food and service was good but hardly any beef meals available....no beef bourguignon, fillet steak and one other beef dish off....by 8:30 in the evening.

Excellent menu with plenty of choice. Bustling brasserie atmosphere and pleasant staff. Two very small criticisms: l'd have preferred the raw egg with the steak tartare to have been served as a raw egg on top and not mixed in, the warm salad wasn't warm. However all tasted very good indeed. The duck was a triumph perfectly cooked with a delicious, rich sauce. We'll definitely be back.

Good service and very nice food. I only knocked a mark off as there was a chip in the rim of the water glass...potentially nasty!

We always have a consistently good experience here at Cote Norwich. The service is always pleasant and the food never disappoints. Can recommend the fish stew.

the service and food were excellent,unfortunately my favourite dish duck was unavailable ,nevertheless the quality of the meal made up for this. A worthwhile experience

Really good meal at this bustling restaurant. Service also excellent. Well considered wine list and classic dishes done very well. I particularly liked the smoked salmon starter. Two minor criticisms: the layout of the restaurant means the entrance is not easily in view of the maître d' so on a busy evening we were left waiting to be seated. There was an apology but an acknowledgment when leaving would be good. Also train staff to speak to diners if they pass them in the entrance area. The other issue is the inclusion of 12.5% gratuity. This is above the market rate and pressurises a customer into paying it because of the potential ill- feeling of refusing or asking to pay 10%. Far better for me to pay without subtle coercion, as I always do when service has been good.

We love going to Le Cote especially for pre-theatre. The price is so good as is the special menu choice (though, perhaps, the sweet menu could be varied a bit). The service is also very good indeed.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, THE WELCOME, THE SERVICE THE MEAL, AND ONE OF OUR PARTY WAS GLUTEN FREE AND NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND.

Run out of food and vines, really????? Head 2 bottles of my favourite rose and when ordered the third one they run out!!! Asked for plates from a la cart menu four out of seven run out . Asked for steak, sirloin...... run out 😡 Conclusion: not going there anymore

Had lunch here with a friend, its always very welcoming and is very well run as it has an excellent manager.The food is excellent and its always a pleasure to eat here.

Great atmosphere. Friendly & obliging staff, who, in our experience, Cote seems to retain. Excellent food and menu choices with great service. What's not to like?

Always a pleasure to visit Norwich Côte. Food pleasant and the specials change regularly. It was very busy and the manager was very gracious when he had to turn customers away. We were served by Gosia who is always delightful. Thanks

Delicious food served in a fun atmosphere full of friendly buzz- staff were great despite obvious pressure. Great early evening dinner before the theatre. Highly recommended

Always excellent and friendly service from the staff. The food is incredible and just the right size portions for great prices. Been there quite a few times now, recommending to friends and family whenever I get the opportunity and really looking forward to dining there again soon!

I booked the Cote after going there previously. I took a group of volunteers from our local Hospice. We had a lovley time - great food - brilliant service and not too crowded. Thank you we are planning our next get together in April May next year.

Our table was very cramped and near the door so not the best area to enjoy a meal. Our usual order of Nicoise Salad was very good although there was only one olive in mine and there should be several more. Otherwise good and the staff, as always, were very attentive and efficient.

Another lovely meal at Cote. Never disappointed at this lovely restaurant. Food is always good with excellent unobtrusive service. Would highly recommend both the a la carte and set menus.

Excellent! We have no complaints - staff and food are wonderful. We have been many times and cannot find fault with anything. We always recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

Lovely food and good value early evening set menu, but I do wish they would add a few vegetables. It wouldn't cost much but would balance the meal far better.

Excellent food, comfortable restaurant with very pleasant atmosphere and lovely staff. The set menu offerered a good choice at very reasonable prices and the A La Carte menu is very good.

Good value on the lunchtime menu but one of the starters (pear and endive) was exceptionally salty and another langoustine tails) more batter than tail and not very well presented. All else great - thanks.

Overall very enjoyable - good service and good food except for my husband's steak which was rather chewy. Our friends had never been to Cote before and they enjoyed it very much.

A very good welcome on arrival and was taken straight to a table. Cote was fully aware of our request and offered us the choices of either red or white wine. Staff always are very polite and friendly. Enjoyed our meal and will return.

Excellent food and service as always. The bodin noir was very well presented and very tasty. The shared main course cote de beouf was very tasty and cooked rare as requested to perfection.

Very good apart from the downmarket approach of adding on 12.5% service charge. I don't want the trouble of knocking it off the total then applying what I want to add.

Service a little bit slow but it was a busy period. Unsfortunately we were given the wrong starters which delayed things a little more. However the staff were efficient and cheerful.

Cote excelled themselves. Each dish was superb with the calamari starter and grilled chicken with mushroom sauce main course as high points. The service was excellent.

Good food and excellent service tonight at Cote Norwich. All the better with a free bottle of very drinkable white wine. Well worth a visit.

Love it. Great place. Always consistently good food and service. Fish stew and steak frites both tasty winners. If you like red wine then Chemin de Marquiere a recommended Merlot.

The food was absolutely fantastic, as ever. I don't think we've ever had a bad meal there. The only thing that disappointed us this time was the staff attitude towards us. It was very efficient, but abrupt to the point of curtness, which was a shame. Especially since we had breakfast two days in a row at the Bournemouth Cote last week and the difference was startling.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Good value for the quality of food. First time visiting and will be back for birthday celebrations. Would highly recommend.

Good service, but a disappointing main. I usually love the poulet grille, but the quality of the chicken wasn't as good as usual.Everything else was fine.

Reliable french style food and good service - and open late. Good service-staff retention who know the menu and the wines, and an effective kitchen. Broken up spaces so can readily accommodate parties and more intimate diners simultaneously. But could do with more heating at the front by the street windows.

Booking was easy and efficient. The restaurant was expecting us and had on record that we had booked using a reward - a free bottle of wine!

Not enough food on plate have really cut down on food helpings got two chicken legs when it should be half chicken Service charge rude.

Excellent meal,so recommend the lamb,staff very attentive but not too over the top,Will certainly return in fact already booked,for another of our girlie lunches,enjoyed it.

Yet another good evening with great food and attentive service. The choice of menu options is extensive, especially before 7pm and the food is delicious.
