Warm welcome to our pre-booked table. Timely service and excellent food and the recommended wine was delicious. Norwich restaurant has a lovely ambiance as it is made up of different rooms. We will return next time we are visiting.

Lovely time again at our favourite place to eat in Norwich. Even though the restaurant was very busy the staff were attentive & very helpful. Great food & wine topped the lunchtime.

Nice looking place, but expensive for what it was. I have had better meals at ordinary roadside travel chains and motorway services. Service was not particularly good. The waitress was very quick to suggest I wanted a large glass of wine when I requested the smaller glass. She added on an optional 12.5% service charge which I declined to pay. All in all, I felt they were trying to get the most out of us and hope we didn't notice the big 'optional' tip.

nice ambience lovely staff ,starter of mussels delicious.Couscous main bland and a bit disappointing.Drinks fine ;overall I recommend the place but feel the mains need to be improved

It was a decent experience, and the food was nice, although a little overpriced. The table next to us were loud but that can't be helped. The staff were nice but a little rushed tonight.

Great food and service as always . New items to try on the menu so opted for a comte cheese burger which didn’t disappoint these hungry diners !

First time visit very convenient location for pre-theatre dinner. Lovely and warm on a very cold evening. Very polite staff and delicious food. Excellent value for money with the early evening set menu. Will recommend to friends.

We are always so warmly welcomed by the staff and the food is great. Unusually we had a mix up over one meal but it was sorted out immediately and didn’t spoil our enjoyment.

Excellent evening in an icy, snowy Norwich. Cold outside but such warmth inside. A bottle of Côte du Rhône to accompany bœuf bourguignon and canard aux cerises. Delicious!

I have not been anywhere for a long time with as nice staff as Cote Norwich. It was my Aunt's birthday and they decorated the table, gave us some bubbly and a candle in the dessert - all made the day feeling so special. I still can't believe the effort they made! Will definitely tell everyone about this place - plus the food was lovely!

Our first waiter was rather abrupt and made our visit rather stained initially. We were on time so not sure what The problem was things improved by the time we got to dessert. Although that could have been the wine!

Very helpful and friendly staff along with excellent food, as we would always expect, made this another extremely enjoyable family meal, as well as a lovely birthday celebration for my husband.

Good atmosphere but disappointed with meal. Soup was not that hot and the deer must have got away before it was put into the venison shepherds pie. However the stalk of the herbs in it did manage to sneak into the bottom of the pie! Dessert was good. Wife's meal was great. Manager acknowledge the situation and gave a small discount

We were visiting Norwich, we were so pleased that we chose Côte. The food was perfect, we ate from the early evening menu and when my main dish was not available I was offered a substitute from the a la Carte at no extra cost. A lovely atmosphere and friendly efficient service.

Fabulous lunch today, with attentIve knowledgable staff, especially the pregnant lady at the front of house. We had a great Meal, as ever chefs obviously work really well under pressure, as the place was full. Food well presented well cooked and really tasty, the wines were fab. Well done all you gave us a great lunch today.

Don't like having the tip put on the bill. The idea of the tip is that you decide what the service is worth. I am aware that it says this is optional.

we visit regularly and are usually very happy. Today the restaurant was very busy and my meal was served very cold which meant my partner had to eat before me whilst I waited for a replacement meal. Shame

Very convenient for pre theatre dinner and the complimentary drinks are much appreciated. Pleasant staff and the early evening menu offers a good choice and value for money. We have visited several times and as long as the standard of the food is maintained we will make Cote Norwich our number one choice prior to seeing a Show at the Theatre Royal.

We had an amazing dinner, the service was fantastic and the food was really nice. Had a bottle of wine as well and was good price. Will be back for sure

We went for a birthday meal and had a lovely time. Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere! The only thing they need to invest in, is prosecco :)

We always have had a good experience at The Cote in Norwich but slightly disappointed this time. The restaurant was virtually empty and yet we had to wait 45 mins for our meal to be delivered. The female waitress who served us was a bit brusque tho pleasantenough but then emptied our whole bottle of wine into our glasses first time round !!! This is definitely not correct procedure by any means. We then had a very pleasant young man who looked after us properly and all became well !! The food was very good as always but I just felt maybe there was a skeleton staff on and we didn’t have the usual customer service.

Have been several times and never disappointed. Usually have the set lunch menu. There is a varied choice, the food is always good and well presented. The service has been excellent even when busy.

Food was absolutely delicious. Restaurant was quite noisy and also a little cold. Staff very attentive - possibly too attentive as it felt we were being rushed slightly.

Excellent setting, excellent people, and excellent food as always. We love eating at "Cote Norwich" for atmosphere, and friendliness, and would recommend Cote to anyone and everyone.

Nicely welcomed and promptly seated around the far side of the restaurant. I thoroughly all three courses from a varied menu. Service was good if not slightly slow waiting for the main course. This was voluntarily addressed by the manager who provided our table with a free round of drinks. Good atmosphere inside the restaurant providing the right backdrop to enjoy the evening with friends. Highly recommended.

Again Fantastic food, staff, service- location great. This visit we went for an early supper , pre theatre show- ideal. Shall definitely return very soon.

I am running out of superlatives to say about cote norwich. Tonight I shall concentrate on the waiting staff, they are so attentive and manage to judge how to be friendly and yet still be professional. The smiles and banter make it all the more a great night. Food as always was excellent.

Ok but not brilliant. 2 in my party had rib eye steaks but there was a huge difference in size which the waiting staff dismissed. I had mussels. When I commented that the first 4 I picked up were empty, they were good enough to bring some more but overall there were 7 empty shells and 2 which had not opened and should have been discarded as they would have been dead (how long for?) before cooking

Great breakfast, service perfect, food hot and tasty. Apple juice was good. Food made a superb start to the day. Will return as soon as possible.

Starters and main courses were excellent as was the Muscadet wine. The desserts should have been served hot but were barely warm. These were replaced and deducted from the menu. Enjoyable evening.

Sunday 2.00pm, eight happy middle agers with good experience and high expectations, we were not disappointed!! Lovely, confident and professional service by several of the staff ensured we felt loved and were supplied with 'refreshments' without delay!! Excellently presented meals, from starters to desserts, even accommodating us four guys with one desert between four!! Absolutely no complaints from any of the gang, only a thumbs up for another visit soon :)

I always enjoy a visit here. Its cosy and seems to balance a formal setting with an informal presentation. The staff are always very pleasant, attentive without being too so.

Food was perfect. The cognac infused cherries are perhaps an acquired taste, but provided good decoration. The wines have always been good value in my experience. Service was also very good.
