Côte Norwich

Lovely atmosphere, fast friendly service, nice food and reasonable prices all go to making this place a great choice. When I tried offering a tip it was refused as a service charge was already on the bill, now that’s rear.

A treat for a special friend for her birthday. I had been before so knew what to expect. She had not and was wonderfully surprised with the whole experience. Lovely ambience, really friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, super service and the pamparelle? spritzer was a a delight. Thank you so much.

The staff, the food and service was the usual excellent standard. Unfortunately, on this occasion, the buildung had issues. The fire alarm went off twice, with no explanation as to why, and so diners remained in their seats. We suspect either the air conditioning had failed, or ben turned off, because during our meal the atmosphere in the restaurant became far too uncomfortable to linger. We had to fan ourselves with menus. We left earlier than we would normally have done. It was stiffling. The present weather conditions perhaps proved too challenging for the restaurant. It spoilt our evening to be truthful, but not the fault of the staff.

Fantastic service. Helped celebrate our wedding which was 3 months ago with a free drink and accepted out dated vouchers (given as a wedding gift that we didn’t realised were dated). Brilliant all round! Foood was incredible!!!!

Once again today this meal was superb. As always perfect greeting, service and food. July set menu was divine. Looking forward to August for another great meal.

Our meal was excellent and the staff were perfect. It was my daughter’s graduation lunch and it could not have been better. We would happily recommend.

Despite not receiving our email for a free bottle of wine after signing up to the news letter we had a lovely time. The atmosphere and staff were great. Had a lovely meal and everybody enjoyed themselves on this very special occasion.

Minute steaks very tough, wrong menus on table, staff showed no interest in serving us, drinks took far too long to arrive, asked how meal was just as we were finishing, service charge a cheek so didn’t pay it, won’t be returning.

Great service for the most part, but after the main course our waiter went on his dinner break so we were waiting ages to be served for dessert. Considering the 12.5% service charge is included in the bill I would have expected better

I went with a colleague for business lunch. The menu was good and they provided quality food and quick lunchtime service - would recommend pork belly or steak frites

Usually excellent service and food but felt side lined and way too much chili in 3 dishes. But when I complained they took money off the bill to resolve the issue.

As allways greeted by a smiling face and a welcome shown to our table and given menue and gluten free alternatives without having to request (staff remembered reuirement)

Enjoyed a great meal there, food and hospitality is always excellent, this was probably our fourth visit. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are a good size to satisfy a normal appetite. The staff are friendly and helpful.

A great meal beautifully presented, good sized portions and good service by friendly staff. Great value for money. We will definitely visit Cote Norwich again soon.

Very good as usual with friendly service and quite q good selection of lunch items on the specials menu. I look forward to my next visit.

We arrived early but this did not cause a problem. Manager welcomed us back as we had not been for a little while (we do not live in Norwich so are here for only s few weekends each year and other odd days.. Food excellent and well served. Helpfully a taxi was obtained when we finished to get us back from hotel.

Attentive but not overbearing staff. Good food, portion size just right. Nice atmosphere. One of the few restaurants open in Norwich on a Sunday night

Cote is well run .... well organised .... friendly helpful and jolly .... the food is consistently fab and authentic ..... so every one should go there .... 😀😀

Once again, a lovely, (early evening) meal at Cote, Norwich. Has definitely become our favourite place to eat when we are in the city. Food is fabulous and good value for money; staff are friendly and attentive, without being to much so; ambience is very pleasant. The French Onion soup (even on a hot day!) is incredible!

Experience was ok on the whole, but not special. Service was good as always, but fries could have been warmer and steak could have been better seasoned

The food was nice but the service was a bit lacking. Our waiter was new and obviously not quite on the ball. A bit slow and a few mistakes.

IF the poached egg had been hot instead of cold we would have had no complaints. Your lunch menu is usually good value for money

Our Cote Norwich experience was as good as always The food and wine were very good food and the staff were as attentive as ever. Thank you!

This the second time we have celebrated a birthday lunch at Cote and as before can't fault the food and courteous and helpful staff. We have already decided to meet there again. We also use Cote before going to the theatre in Norwich.

Cote is our “Go To” restaurant wherever we go. You always get a great meal with great service at a great price. Norwich gets 5* in all categaries.

Excellent food; great drinks; good service and 'reasonably' priced. I just wish that they provided discount cards or offers so that it wasn't quite as expensive. The offers that are e-mailed may involve free drinks etc but an overall food price discount would be more favourable.

Quite a nice lunch. Restaurant not very busy so we were not rushed. However I take issue with an ‘optional’ service charge being automatically added to the bill. If I want to leave a tip it should be up to me.

Staff as always friendly & efficient. Food seems to just keep on getting better with a good choice to suit all tastes & dietry requirements - excellent value !

Fantastic service and yummy food in this chain which is a bit better than the rest, including Cafe Rouge. We ate from the A La Carte, which was a nice treat.

Our waiters were lovely. My boyfriend recently broke his finger and is in a cast and the waiter cut his food for him as he could only use one hand. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed our evening.

An enjoyable first experience with good quality food and excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a visit & we would certainly eat here again. Really good location too.

The waiter we had was so over the top he had an adverse affect on the whole evening and spoilt what was my sons birthday.

I know it is optional - but I am not happy with the service charge being added to my bill. I would like to make up my own mind as to how much ‘tip’ I give. It is embarrassing to have to question the amount with a member of staff - a member of staff who has given you first class service. And why 12.5% when 10% is the norm?

As usual, our visit to Cote restaurant was excellent . Lovely food, friendly, attentive service and relaxed atmosphere. My son and I had some serious planning to do and we were given the time and space to start that.

We have never had a bad meal at Cote and this was no exception. In fact the addition of the Prestige Set Menu means there is more choice than ever! I wish I knew where they get their steak and chicken - simply delicious!

Fantastic friendly knowledgeable service from all staff. It was a great birthday lunch nothing was too much trouble for the staff I would and do recommend Cote to all my friends & family. Fantastic service well done to all the staff.

As usual, we found the food delicious, the wine good, and we appreciated our free kir royales (or should that be kirs royaux?). We had French friends dining with us, and they were impressed as well.

The service was not up to its usual standard. They were not always around to get their attention, and we had to go looking for them to ask for the bill.

We have been to Cote in a number of locations and the quality of the food and service has always been consistent which for us is important when dining with friends on a special occasion.

We ordered the steak, duck and roast chicken and they were all delicious. The potato side which comes with the duck/chicken was amazing, I wish I had more. The service was quick and our waitress was very polite and attentive. Overall a very pleasant evening spent at Côte.

Attentive friendly service and a nice buzzy atmosphere. All our food was well presented and of good quality. The prices are fair and represent good value. My sister who is glutton free was delighted to be presented with a full glutton free menu on arrival and to have such a wide choice of options.

Always delightful, always consistent-the staff at Cote are efficient, friendly and well trained. A good and convivial evening. The food was well presented and well cooked.

I have eaten at Cote many times as it’s conveniently located in the city centre, so is handy for shopping days or movie nights. The food is consistently good and well presented. The menu is fairly static, so could use more specials, but Cote does what it does well - it delivers to its customers the ‘classic’ bistro meal well.

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Menu well explained very well . Portions were a sensible size making a very satisfying meal. The wine offer made it a good value meal

Great food. We both had crab mayonnaise starter which was excellent. I had escalope of veal and husband had duck confit. Both very good but veal was slightly overdone on one side hence the 5 rating instead of 6. Will definitely eat there again.

The service was good and the food was excellent. We both had fish dishes and a starter. I had French fish stew and onion soup as my starter. I particularly liked the onion soup which was really good.

As always, an excellent meal served by well trained and friendly staff. We have sampled most of the dishes on various menus and we are never disappointed

Was a delightful restaurant - spacious and airy, Staff very helpful and friendly. Took my son there to celebrate his birthday on his recommendation. Looking forward to eating there again.
