Always a nice atmosphere, busy but not annoyingly so, staff all very friendly and it makes the whole experience enjoyable

Really lovely food, fast efficient service, friendly and attentive waiters but don’t like the fact that you add gratuity charge to bill when there’s only a table of two! Can understand doing it when serving larger parties but a tip should be down to the individuals not an assumption.

As always from the warm welcome as we entered to saying goodbye , the experience was excellent . First class service , wonderful food and wine , what more can you want. We will most certainly be visiting Cotes again , and very soon we hope.

It was not a pleasurable experience. Seated in a corridor type position with staff rushing past, next to the door to the toilets.

This is a regular go-to restaurant of ours. We have never been disappointed. Everything is always perfect...service, food, atmosphere and the gluten free menu, in particular, is superb! Such a huge range for coeliac sufferers and always delicious!

Fantastic choice of menu and the food was excellent. Our waiter was great, very efficient but great fun. We were there for a family get together and it was just perfect.

All of the group ( 8) ordered variety of different kinds of food and drink and everyone was happy with their choices and eat everything. The only thing we find with this restaurant is the noise and although we try to sit near the front door where it’s slightly less noisy it can still be difficult to hear. Seems to be the trend in most places as people shout louder and louder over each other.

Their service was nice and provide great quality food. Highly recommended

Great atmosphere, menu with varied choices and my meal was served by great attentive staff.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. I had the Poulet grille with side order of vegetables and my boyfriend had the steak with frites and he thought it was very good too. The wine is always excellent, nicely chilled and the service is very good. I often book Cote Restaurant for suppers in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge, London & Edinburgh.

Disappointed that at 10am there were no croissants available! Why not? French breakfast without croissants does not compute. However, the yoghurt and fruit compôte was absolutely fantastic. We love Côte Brasserie and visit at every opportunity because of the lovely staff and good food, so we'll overlook this minor faux pas! 🙂

The meal was only spoilt by a very noisy customer sitting behind us who did not appear to have a volume control! It was only a bit more pleasant when she had been served her food!l

Great value, great food, friendly efficient service and a good place to start the evening.

It was a saturday night so you expect it but it was extremely busy which meant it was very noisy Service was good although we had to ask for our sides on both courses .

Everything was wonderful except that halfway through the meal the next table was occupied by a couple of loud french women who proceeded to talk at each other and laugh into their phones at the tops of their voices. We left as quickly as we could after finishing a lovely meal for our anniversary.

Food served promptly plates nice and hot so had not been on pass to long.This is sometimes an issue.Food having been plated and awaiting to long for service.

Very nice meal, soup was not hot enough for me, warm at best. Main Chicken with 2 extra sides required as you only get chips with it. Creme vanilla desert was to die for. I also do not like the 12.5% service charge which came as standard. I prefer to tip accordingly. Overall a lovely meal with lovely food, but slightly overpriced.
