Côte Norwich

We have eaten lunch at Cote Norwich on many occasions but this was our first visit for dinner. Our waitress was outstanding and the manager exceptional. Service was the best we have had in many years of dining out across the country. The food was excellent and very good value. We had to get to the Playhouse and the meal was served promptly. An excellent location due to its proximity. Highly recommended.

Extremely enjoyable meal celebrating a family 60th Birthday, the staff struck the right balance between service and support and the ambience was perfect.

I had an excellent meal served promptly and with courtesy.

I ordered from the lunch set menu. It showed SARDINES. When my order arrived I had on my plate one side of one sardine cut into small pieces. I suspect although I am not an expert that this was a herring and not a sardine. I also ordered a non alcoholic beer, a Meteor. I did not look at the prices just ordered a non alcoholic beer. This was a 25 cl bottle which was charged at £4.95. This equates to over £ 9.80 a pint. These beers are readily available to the public at £1.64. This is a shocking price to pay. I understand the need to make a profit but this is a step too far. I will think long and hard about eating at Cote in the future.

Just popped in for quick tea as normal all staff were polite and attentive , all our food choices were excellent. The only thing that spoilt the evening was you assume and put 10% on the bill if you need more to pay for the food put prices up if its for the staff surely its my choice

Our food was very tasty and our waitress looked after us very well.

We had one of the best meals ever last night. I loved the duck breast main and my partner especially liked her salmon ratatouille. We came in because of your free bottle promotion we had received on a previous visit to breakfast, I was sceptical at the offer but the wine we had was really nice and the whole meal felt good value for money in the end. Our waiter whom forgive me unfortunately I can't remember his name was excellent. He was fun and attentive but in no way intrusive, you could tell he was good at his job. Lovely evening all round.

Disappointing that basic side dishes were so badly Cooked all the vegetables were very unappetising, in fairness these were not charged for but it spoilt the meal.
