Best meal I’ve had for a long time French Oniin soup is the best followed by a perfectly cooked rib eye steak and the best Cream Caramel ever Wash down with a glass of Malbec Divine
Great food and great atmosphere. Friendly professional staff. Will definitely be revisiting soon
Great service and food is amazing. Didn’t feel rushed at all considering it was lunchtime. Will definitely be back (again!)
Staff are very nice as soon as you enter you are made to feel welcome and food as always excellent with a good choice from various menus
The food was excellent however the service was very slow, we were advised that the delay was due to a lamb dish taking longer to prepare, unfortunately when the lamb arrived it was cold. One of the starters was off the menu and we weren’t made aware of this until an alternative was presented at the table. We were fortunate that we weren’t in a hurry. The staff were friendly however seemed to be under a lot of pressure not sure wether this was due to staff shortages or what. I have eaten in Côte Brasserie on quite a few occasions and haven’t experienced this before.
Great food and wine - reasonably priced and great staff - spacious layout so not to feel any lack of privacy-overall a wonderful experience - definitely the place to eat in the town centre
We had a table booked for 5.45 pm and we arrived on time and were immediately shown to our table. We selected the set evening menu and the food was good and the service was good. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we left at 7.15 pm.
Another lively Cote restaurant with helpful staff, excellent ambience and the usual delicious food which was promptly served, piping hot and tasty. The restaurant is conveniently located for the Theatre Royal.
On a quiet Tuesday lunch time the restaurant was mainly supported by elderly clients like ourselves but the atmosphere was convivial and busy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and attentive. The food was of it's usual high standard. No complaints.
Lovely as always. Very busy for 6pm on a Wednesday which creates a lovely atmosphere. Ample sized portions on the special menus. The creme caramel is delicious.
Good food from a varied menu which changes regularly, friendly & efficient service and a pleasant ambience. Great location in centre of town. Reasonably priced
Great food and atmosphere. Service polite and attentive. We have been to Cote Brasserie, Newcastle several times and the high standard has always been maintained.
Another delightful experience at this restaurant where staff are always so friendly and helpful. Even Guide dog Katie received her bowl of water under the table. F and B quality is top class and never fails to impress. Centrally located, within 5 mins walk from main shopping area and on the doorstep of the Grainger market, which is a must for those wishing to explore authentic tastes from a variety of countries.
We had a wonderful celebration lunch today with superb food, attentive service in lovely surroundings. We will certainly be returning in the near future. Thank you
Nice restaurant with attentive staff, food is always really tasty.
Whole experience lovely. Staff very nice and friendly. Food. Beautiful. The cocktails were delicious . ( French Martinis ) Main course. Wet nicely presented . Deserts yummy. .
Excellent food and service. A lovely menu choice and very good value for lunch. Our waiter was charming and helpful. Will definitely return. This is a great addition to Newcastle.
Portion sizes were a little small but the staff were fantastic. Fries were a little salty but the environment was lovely and if I had picked a different dish I’m sure it would’ve been more satisfying. Can’t fault the staff.
food was lovely. restaurant rather noisy. good choice of dishes and fair prices. Enjoyed the Pernod. convenient location in centre of the town. would go again.
Food was excellent, although our enjoyment was spoiled by a noisy party on an adjacent table. They were not dining, just having drinks. eventually we moved ourselves to another table to get away from the noise.
We visited Cote Brasserie in Newcastle for a early meal before the Theatre and again met our expectations!!! Service, quality of food and attention to detail perfect.

I made a booking at Cote Brasserie in Newcastle for my husband and myself for an early meal as we were going to The Theatre Royal. The whole experience I.e. welcome, service, food and ambience was wonderful at Cote Newcastle.
It wasn't quite s good as normal service fine but myself and granddaughter had the pate starter and we were both sick in the evening my husband was fine as he did not have it.
We really enjoyed our meal. Staff always very pleasant. At the moment this is our favourite restaurant in Newcastle. Nice to go there after shopping or before the Theatre.
This is a lovely restaurant. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. Staff went out of their way to ensure my birthday celebration was accommodated.
Lovely atmosphere in the restautant and staff always pleasant and helpful. Plenty of choices on the prestigious menu and food delicious. Staff always try very hard to fulfil any requests.
Food was amazing and staff very attentive . We have a lovely experience in a relaxed atmosphere We had the 3 course set menu which was excellent value And the champagne was to die for
Delicious food & great service. I would highly recommend it, the quality of the food and the wide choice on the menu is excellent plus good wine what more do you need
Great staff, pleasant surroundings and excellent food. There is an interesting menu with decent prices. The beers are overpriced but Cote is still well worth a visit.
Excellent food and first class service. No hassle for staff serving 7 people, who only meet up occasionally and who were all full of chat.
Fabulous food, great service. We really enjoyed our visit. Well balanced flavours with that French flair. Would definitely go back next time we are in Newcastle
Excellent food from varied menus with different price points. Lovely ambience even on a weekday lunch time. Great service and advice about wines. We’ve eaten here several times and it never disappoints.
Excellent food and service as usual. The monthly changing menu and specials keep customers interested as well as knowing their favourites are still on the standard menu .
This is about the fith or sixth visit to Cote newcastle the service and food quality is excellent. The French onion soup is the best I’ve had Iwould highly recommend a visit
Tasty food, friendly service, and nice ambience. Great selection and value on the set menu too. The only negative was addition of optional gratuity to bill.

Fabulous food GREAT experience would definitely recommend . The wine was a treat. Enjoyed the experience for my husband's retired do. Definitely would recommend it.
Excellent service with great atmosphere. Food always delicious and at a good price. Good range including set menu. Staff very professional and make dining there a real pleasure.
Attentive, intelligent staff who can communicate. Delicious food too well presented and served with style to your table. The building is interesting also on a busy junction in the very heart of the City.
Great food and even better service. Staff really friendly and efficient and create a lovely atmosphere and ambience. Vast choice of dishes available and priced reasonably. Would highly recommend.
This smart, contemporary restaurant has a great ambience with excellent service and fresh tasty food. Would highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.
Very nice atmosphere and the choice of Food was good. Only negative point was My Butterflied Chicken was over cooked and on the tough side. But would go again
Food was delicious and very pleasant staff, great service from moment we walked in the door. Lovely décor and atmosphere. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

We have been to Côte Brasserie Newcastle a few times. The food has always been good. As has the service and and, importantly, the prices.

Great location good food and professional staff team . Always feel welcome
Good ambience, great service and excellent food. Not keen on the discretionary service charge. Would prefer to choose myself how much tip I decide to pay.
