Lovely atmosphere as always . Breton chicken was amazing .
I love Cote Brassiere Newcastle Never fails to deliver I always recommend
Excellent food and efficient unobtrusive service. Pleasant surroundings no feeling if being rushed.
Excellent tasty food. Friendly welcoming efficient service. Good value lunch menu.
Cote is a quality restaurant in every department. As soon as you enter the door you feel you are transported to your ideal spot abroad and the experience continues through the quality of the food and the ambience. So relaxing and right in the heart of Newcastle.
Positive - Lovely food with lots of options and attentive staff. Negative - Table right by the ‘bar’ area so a bit too much traffic. Toilets were messy and no toilet roll or soap.
Never disappoints, food, staff and atmosphere fabulous. Great for meeting friends and family.
Always a great experience, food as fab as ever, staff friendly, great atmosphere. Lovely place for meeting friends and family.
As always we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. We were a party of 4 celebrating a birthday. The food and service was great, the coffee excellent and the birthday girl was delighted that her wine had been discounted. Once again top marks.
Lovely restaurant. Really good for a luxury breakfast that is still good value. Rather interesting Vegetarian options rather than the short sighted menu we can often be given there was a lot of consideration to our food choices.
great as usual.I have no more words to say ok
Both courses tasted delicious. I declined the poached egg with my fishcake. I wish I had thought to ask for more veg as replacement and/or had been offered that option by waiting staff.
Would recommend to anyone .lovely experience with great service and food
Just noticed the review has 6 stars! Maybe that's appropriate as each time we go we get better than 5 star treatment. This latest visit was no different. Lovely food as ever and great service too. Attentive but not over the top.
Attentive staff and good food. One person in the group is a coeliac so it was nice to know that the restaurant took great care when gluten free food was ordered
Very attractive surroundings. Attentive and friendly service. Set menus are very good value. Wide choice of dishes on set and a la carte menus. Reasonably priced drinks. Food was well cooked and attractively presented. I will return!
Great food and service...very friendly. Sat down immediately and everything went like clock.
Good food and good value. The menu was comprehensive. The wine list was competitive.
Great food, lovely atmosphere and amazing staff. Made boyfriends and my birthday extra special
My friend and I dined at Cote last night and enjoyed a delightful meal. The gazpacho was simply outstanding and perfect in that hot weather. The main courses equally enjoyable. I must also add: my friend and I are transgendered and your staff deserve praise for the courteous, friendly and helpful manner in which we were treated. Not all places are so accommodating for us. So well done all round!
Lovely food of a high quality, venue clean and staff extremely helpful. One comment staff using Disabled Toilet still wearing their apron not so nice. Witnessed at least two members of serving staff doing this. Not the most hygienic. Overall experience very good.
Disappointing not value for money. Nothing to dry your hands in ladies toilet. Had to tell staff if they could supply hand towels as no electric hand driers. Not Good for hygiene.
Thoroughly enjoyable food with attentive and courteous staff. As our meal was at 5.00pm the restaurant was not overly populated, which meant we had good opportunity for peaceful chat during our meal. One of our favourite restaurants in Newcastle.
The staff are lovely! Food is great. Thanks for a fantastic night
Very enjoyable evening. Gin cocktail s were lovely. Food was great and service was very attentive.
Delicious food and wine, and great value - will definitely visit again; highly recommended.
Excellent food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. My husband’s chicken with mushroom sauce was so tasty and my chocolate fondant was to die for. Will definitely be back.
Would have preferred to have been seated in the main part of the restaurant rather than by ourselves. Staff need to interact and smile more - did not get the feeling they were enjoying themselves. Also we were only given our free cocktails (email offer) after asking - they were not offered. Food was ok though not outstanding. Have had better meals previously in Salisbury and Bournemouth branches. Chose you for our meal to celebrate our daughter’s graduation but felt meal and experience fell short of the mark.
Hot, tasty food. Very good presentation and service professional. Good value deals available.
Lovely as ever .. service 5 stars, food, 5 stars.
Lush food, attentive service and overall lovely time. Thank you
A dull day (weather) brightened by the exellence of Cote and their staff. Thank you.
Staff wonderful as ever as is food! Lovely atmosphere! Eat here often and my favourite place ☺
Great restaurant in central Newcastle with a good choice of starters and mains. Specials added each month so there’s always something different
Lovely meal in pleasant surroundings. Delightful swordfish and other mains and starters.
Delicious food and very friendly staff. Will definitely return with friends.
Had the early evening special. Delicious food, very good value and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely return.
A lovely pleasant evening was had by our group of 5 for a birthday occasion. The food was delicious and very good value. We tried both 3 course menus available before 7 pm. One of us had a gluten free menu. This restaurant is sensitive to all dietary requirements. The service was good and the workers were very pleasant and professional. We will be going back there and would recommend it to others.
Would of been all stars until I have seen the reservation team spelt my name as Giya instead of Jaya As for the restaurant experience it was amazing and the staff were accommodating to me as I had chosen my first meal out to be with them I had had congenital heart surgery a week that day They made sure I was comfortable and helped me to the disabled toilet and made me feel me even though I had callulers on my arm and a recently stitched scar down my chest I really want to thank Andrew the server and Lucy the waitress as I felt like me again I wouldn’t dine anywhere else unless it’s for Kobe steak
Not our first time with Côte but our first in there newcastle restaurant, and as expected excellent service and a great steak! Will be re visiting when we’re next up.
A very pleasant and well priced lunch. Good food, good value.
Once again an exceptional meal ..... Perfect start to out night when greeted by such lovely staff, gorgeous food service was excellent and finished off nicely with a complimentary bottle of blush...cant wait to come back.
Realy nice and authentic very friendly attentive staff food excellent will be back
My wife and I frequently dine at Cote Brassiere, Newcastle and are rarely disappointed. However, yesterday evening I ordered the July Special, Lobster Frites. The lobster tail was soft and almost mushy, clearly indicating that it was not fresh and should not have been served. l mentioned this to the server when she enquired if we had enjoyed our meal. She didn’t respond, but when I was given the bill she had deducted the price of the lobster and informed us that she had discussed the problem with the chef. Although I did not enjoy my meal, I was impressed with the way it was handled.
Great food and a terrific atmosphere. Staff are great too.
Côte is perhaps the most consistency reliable restaurant in its price bracket in Newcastle. The prix fixe menu is varied, fairly generous and excellent value, though the à la carte options are not overpriced and wine starts at under £20 a bottle. Service is friendly and efficient.
The restaurant was very busy but that did not impact on the service or the food and drinks served.
Disappointed in desert frozen berries with white chocolate sauce. Hardly any chocolate sauce so ended up with a plate of tart frozen berries. Not nice. I like to choose the amount I tip not have a service charge of 12.5% added to the bill.
Amazing food, Lucie who served us was a delight. Thankyou so much xxx
Excellent food and service , the service team were well trained and worked well together
