Food excellent staff very professional will be visiting again soon

Mushroom soup was only warm but quickly sorted by excellent staff.

Usual great food, just felt the service was a little off the mark today. Exemplified by the waiter coming over with the card machine when I'd not had my bill.

We had breakfast with you today, 2 full English and 2 vegetarian meals. It's great value with the drinks included however the only downside is there's no beans on the full English breakfast? When we first visited you we were told this is because you are a French restaurant, however do restaurants serve Cumberland sausages in France? Always great, friendly staff. Only downside today was we were sitting on a small table next to the counter so it was very loud when coffees were being made.

Good meal but service was slow especially waiting for puds and bill.

Cote is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is always delicious and the set menus are great value. The ambience is conducive to a relaxing time with mood music just at the right level to enable conversation. Staff are always attentive and polite.

My friend and I really enjoyed the whole experience here: friendly, helpful staff, warm welcome, warm room, well laid out table, good service and very tasty food. We chose the two course lunch menu and my grilled chicken was delicious! We were celebrating my friend’s special birthday and were offered a complimentary drink each which was a wonderful addition to our very positive experience here. This is my second visit to this establishment as I don’t visit Newcastle very often but it certainly won’t be my last! Thank you, team Côté, for this great lunch!

Once again a lovely late lunch with a friend. Food, staff and atmosphere perfect. If you haven’t tried Côte yet you must it’s a lovely experience.

This venue has become our most favourite eating place in Newcastle. Clearly, staff are very friendly and attentive to customer needs even Guide Dog 🐶 Thank you for your continued professional service.

Food was good. Not keen on house wine so tried one of the other choices. Service was good but had a seat near to door which was a bit chilly don’t think they should have both doors open. Will be back. Staff couldn’t do enough. Mussels were gorgeous and my steak was cooked to perfection and has been each time I’ve been

I love it at Cote in Newcastle. The food is always amazing. My most favourite is the vegetarian breakfast and regularly go for brunch. However tonight we chose to go for an evening meal before the theatre, I had the crab bisque and it was beautiful. There is lots of lovely food to choose from with some really great value set menus... but I particularly like the seasonal touches. The staff are friendly, attentive (without being intrusive) and very knowledgable about the food and wines on offer. The atmosphere is always lovely, cozy but classy.

This is the 4th Cote I have visited over the last few years and again can only praise the food and the service. Had dinner, lunch and a couple of breakfasts their, which I think speaks for itself.

A lovely lunch time meal with 4 family members. The first table we were given, in the annex room, wasn't suitable for our group so we asked to move to the main restaurant area, which was arranged quickly and efficiently. Staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. As always the food was lovely and excellent value, from the October lunch / early evening specials menu. Have been to Cote many times and never disappointed.

Lovely ambience. Welcoming staff. Layout allows for some privacy. Location in centre of town. Steak was perfectly cooked but look warm. Was very quickly replaced and not charged for which I found very refreshing. Did not expect that.

We love this restaurant in central Newcastle. Great food and service every time we visit and would definitely recommend.

I’ve now eaten in about 8 different Cote and all have been excellent. Tonight was no different, great friendly service and food that never disappoints. We waited a while for deserts so they didn’t charge us for them. How good is that. Thanks again

Very busy due to only two staff serving but they were excellent. Overall a brilliant experience.

An excellent evening. Our previous visit had not been up to usual high standards. (We fed this back to both the manager and through a survey, and we have to admit your customer service was spot on). So we returned back with the voucher you sent. The food and service were absolute amazing. Delicious food and tentative service throughout. Thankyou to everyone. Cote Newcastle has regained it's title as our favourite restaurant.
