Côte Newcastle

Delicious food, lfriendly staff, knowledgeable about the menu and a lovely ambiance. My reason for giving four stars, and not five, is because there were quite a few items on the menu which were not available, including a dessert ( maybe a blessing in disguise as it saved my waistline from a few extra calories). Overall, though a lovely experience.

Food was delicious, service was excellent and ambiance very good. Côte is fantastic value for money too, so an all round enjoyable meal. Will be back!

I have walked past the restaurant many times and my first visit did not disappoint. The service was great, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely. A friend and I attended for dinner, we were able to hold a conversation without a lot of noise, this was great for us to catch-up as we had not seen each other for almost a year. We weren’t raced, a very relaxing evening. I will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful night.

Restaura is in a good location. Meal was very good and good choice on menu. Staff in particular the Spanish waitress very helpful , efficient and friendly. The 7 of us intend to go next December.

It was a get together of 4 sisters and a niece before Christmas. We got excellent service from all who served us. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their two-course meal. We got a free btle of wine courtesy of Saga Possibilities too. Only downside is the choice of two- price menus. Some would have preferred one course from one menu and another course fromthe other. Surely it would be better to have one menu with an average price of between the two?

For two years now Cote has been my favourite restaurant in Newcastle. The food is cooked to perfection. They have mastered the art of what appears to be small portions, to actually being very filling. The service is excellent,. Very good value for money. Sadly I have to wait until the new year before I can go again!

Attentive service. Set menus are good value. It would have been nice to have bread served with the mussels, which were tasty. Pork tenderloin was very tender!
