Excellent food was beyond what i was expecting came for restaurant week to Try something new and thoroughly enjoyed it wl definitely be back! Service was excellent didnt have to wait although we probably annoyed the staff because the people we were with couldnt make their mind up hahah but honestly keep doing what your doing was truly scrumtious Oh and Thankyou to the table person who rescheduled the night because we rocked up early and said we could come back but bless her thats definitely customer service

Great service and good food.Top marks to all staff involved . This was an early evening out with friends who enjoyed their first experience at this restaurant. Rapidly becoming our favourite place to eat because of the service. Also the breakfasts are great.

We have just had the restaurant week menu & it was fab. Lovely French onion soup & goats cheese starters. Followed by the chicken Disney & the pork fish - lovely. Just had room for an ice cream with chocolate sauce & a creme caramel - lovely. Nice bottle of Muscadet completed the night. Nice surroundings - good service. The only thing I don’t agree with is the service charge at 12 & half percent is already added on your bill.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. Our server was friendly and very efficient throughout our lunch. The food was delicious and well presented. A lovely way to spend a January Monday lunchtime.

All three courses I chose on the January menu were superb. A nice friendly waitress served our table of four.

Enjoyed a three course meal with friends during Newcastle restaurant week yesterday. Every course was good and the service was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Service was slow to start, but picked up. Waitress was lovely. Wine glass was dirty We were sat in the farthest, remotest part of the restaurant, made me feel like two men together wasn’t a good advert for the main seating area. Sure I’m wrong. The creme caramel was the star. Would return, no rush though

excellent service, good food, on a very busy start of restaurant week, bit confused at first and ended up eating off the January specials menu so even better bargain and more choice. Will definitely vist again despite preferring smaller , more independent menus normally. All round, very good, thank you

I've not been to Cote before and was led there by the coincidence of Newcastle Restaurant Week and a chance mention by a friend. I was very favourably impressed by the food,the service and the setting.

Really enjoyed the meal - set menu good value for money and very pleasant staff.

This was my first visit to Côte. There was a lovely atmosphere The food was delicious and nicely presented. The service was excellent.

The menu was very big and everything sounded tempting. The food was fantastic and the staff were great. The only thing I didn't like was a 12.5% gratuity charge that was added to the bill. Tipping should be up to the customer, not the restaurant. This meant we would have left £7.80 as a tip even though there was only two of us eating and we only ordered two drinks. A tip that size is ridiculous for just two people. I dread to think what it would cost for a large group! We asked the staff to take this off so we could put a tip on ourselves, which they were happy to do.

This restaurant is consistently very good. Love the atmosphere and food is always lovely.

As usual a superb meal and excellent service.we try to set in Côte brasserie at least once a month and have never been disappointed.

As always very enjoyable my favourite place and I will be returning and telling friends how lovely it is.

Excellent food with great service and a great atmosphere people clearly enjoying their experience as dis we. I have rebooked for a birthday lunch looking forward to that.

Lovely food as always with great service. Comfortable cosy atmosphere. Still don't like the service charge being added to the bill as we always give generous tips. Dined off the prestige menu which I think has gone up a little in price and should have remained as it was.

A very enjoyable dinner - and the free bottle of wine was of good quality. The French touch means that food has a lot of taste. Service was friendly and well organised.

Another fantastic meal. Only ever been for lunch and went for a birthday evening treat this time and wasn’t disappointed. Food was first class and excellent service from the lovely Irish waiter (sorry didn’t catch his name). Will definitely return when I’m in town. 5 star and a great atmosphere. Very well laid out restaurant which makes a big difference.

It was a nice experience and we will return it was a special night for my mother’s birthday The staff were all very pleasant and courteous One small minor error when my wife and mother’s main course arrived but my main course was a little bit later but the apologies were given and totally acceptable I work in this industry so I can respect and understand the small issue Like I say we will return and loved the food is myself being vegan was not any issue what so ever loved the ambiance of the place too

Thanks to the lovely waiter at the cote brasserie Newcastle who looked after us on the night, I had a great birthday party there!
