Food as reliable as ever. We enjoyed both the wine, Viognier and St Chinian. Service was excellent throughout. The staff in this branch are very well trained

Food , surroundings and service very good, disappointed we weren't offered the complimentary rhubarb gin cocktail mentioned on website (we ate lunch specials menu)

I eat regularly here but first time in the evening. Good intimate surroundings. Meal was served within 20 minutes. Good food. Just the right amount. Salmon was cooked just right. My colleague had parmentier and again well cooked. Food well presented. Waiting staff were very efficient and unobtrusive. Top experience as usual

Nice atmosphere: decor and table settings. Food was very tasty and well presented. Overall a lovely dining experience, calamari starter and belly pork main was yummy.

Breakfast was lovely, especially when compared to the Premier Inn the day before !!

We arrived here for breakfast and enjoyed it so much we came back for Tea. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the menu was fabulous and for the feast we had on both occasions you could not fault the price. We had booked on the complimentary wine deal but wanted to eat from the set menu, however since only one guest was drinking wine they generously served a large glass free of charge!! With the lovely surroundings, great staff and fabulous food, I don’t know why you would eat any where else. One very happy Birthday girl.

The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the food was delicious. We were left to chat without feeling rushed but never left unattended for too long.

Food was very well presented, the meuu varied and the customer care shown by the serving staff was both friendly and efficient. My one reservation is the price of the wine which is somwhat overpriced for what it is. We will return.

We have always enjoyed eating in branches of Cote when visiting London - especially the one in Blackheath where our daughter was a regular customer! So we were delighted when the Newcastle branch opened - if only there were another one in Ponteland where we live! The restaurant is beautifully laid out with comfortable and well spaced tables and attracts customers of all ages which is a nice change, as older people are less well catered for in the city centre! The food last night was excellent and mains portions were generous. Service also good. Fairly expensive, but worth it. We had a lovely evening, once again justifying our faith in the Cote "brand". Service fantastic. French onion soup superb. Bread could have been a little more fresh. Prawns a little chewy in starter. Lamb fantastic. Creme caramel the best I’ve ever had. Lovely ambience. Will be back.

Enjoyed pre show supper.Excellent value set menu.Both enjoyed our starters & elected to pay extra for steaks but sadly mine was fatty.My companions was perfect though. Staff are attentive & personable.Will return.

Lovely lunch, enjoyed the food very much. Had the french onion soup to start & although it was delicious it could have been a bitter hotter. Overall a very enjoyable experience. My only criticism is the tip, while I have no objection to a tip being added to the bill I think 12.5 percent is a bit too much. I will go again.

Great food, nice wine and great service! We had a lovely quiet table in the area at the back so we weren't crowded and didn't have to be aware of how loud we laughed!

Excellent food and service as always Ambience of the restaurant was also very good. Starters of calamari, crab mayonnaise and French onion soup were exceptionally presented and tasted amazing.

Excellent Gluten Free menu - so much choice and absolutely delicious! A very busy Saturday night but staff were attentive and very friendly and not at all stressed. We’ll definitely be coming back very soon!

This was my second visit and it was equally as good as the first. It is a very welcoming restaurant with a very nice ambience. Service is consistently good and the food is excellent and reallly good value all round. I will be back and will recomend it to friends.

The welcome was warm and convincing, the food was well presented and of good quality, the service was just right and we felt very relaxed throughout in a neat and tidy room.

Why is alcohol so expensive here? Food was delicious. I don't like gratuities to be automatically included in the bill. It's embarrassing to ask for it to be removed. I prefer to decide how much to leave!

First time visiting Cote Brasserie and was very impressed. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. Very well looked after from the minute we arrived. Great food and great service.

Another lovely meal at Côtes one of our favourite restaurants. We started with our free St Germain cocktail which was delicious. Great menu choices all beautifully prepared & delicious. Service was excellent & attentive without being intrusive.

What a wonderful evening. I had said when I booked that it was my husband's 60th birthday and we were greeted with a round of Kia Royales. The staff were very friendly and attentive and then to finish, although my husband hadn't ordered a dessert, they gave him a small dessert with 'Happy 60th Birthday' written in chocolate sauce. Made him feel really special.

Very good service, lovely ambience but the duck was not good. It was very tough & most of it was inedible. Goats cheese salad very good. Unfortunately, we had to sit next to 2 very loud females who screamed at each other through the meal

You were recommended by my daughter, who has been to the restaurant on several occasions. All four of us were given a glass of wine to celebrate my brother in law's 87th birthday, which was a lovely gesture. We had a lovely time, and intend a return visit

everything was spot on. Manageress who saw to us on arrival was wonderful, our waiter was very pleasant and efficient and the food was, as ever, great.
