Great food and service, and also good value for money. By far, our favourite restaurant in the area. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and make you feel very welcome.

We enjoyed the dining experience, food was delicious, however French Onion soup was rather spicy and pork belly a bit salty. Apart from that, there were well balanced dishes with good presentation and great service. Thank you team at Muswell Hill.

Very nice choices on day menu (so hard to choose!) and delicious food. Cote is always excellent value and quality.

It was a lovely meal and the service was very good. In the comment box when booking I mentioned that it was a birthday meal and was disappointed that there was no reference to that,it would have made the meal more special if my husband had had some birthday recognition.

Delightful waitresses couldn’t disguise the fact that the lamb dish (shepherd’s pie) had barely any meat in it - just potato in abundance. A tiny dish too for the price. They soon replaced the dish with sea bream, however, so no damage done! Unfortunately, as the main body of the restaurant filled up, our waitresses deserted us in our own annex and we had to summon a passing someone to order our desserts. All in all, rather disappointing on what was supposed to be a celebratory meal. Still the “complimentary” water flowed abundantly. Although I didn’t need to be told at least five times that it was indeed - complimentary!

Lovely place. Attentive staff. Deducted a star as my steak was alot more rare then requested. (I wanted medium rare) Otherwise a good experience.

My steak wasn’t hot and Roquefort sauce was a hard piece of butter which didn’t melt cause the steak wasn’t hot enough. The waitress could have been more friendly. Apart from that it was nice but I wouldn’t rush back.

A member of staff was much less helpful than usual staff: not happy to go beyond the basics. Asked for a slice of orange for a kid who wanted to eat the one from the cocktail glass but he said the restaurant could not spare one. He didn’t let us charge a phone saying the plugs were for the staff. Food was not to its usual standard either. Steaks overcooked and hard, ingredients missing from croque monsieur, overly salted fries :-(

We booked a table for 8.45 for 4. The restaurant was very quiet. Our waiter was, a young man, was very well informed and helpful on food and wine. No issues with his knowledge. The issue was our main courses were forgotten about (in a restaurant that by that time only had 3 table!) and we were waiting for a very long time. Even getting the attention of the staff (perhaps 4 of them) was really difficult. In a sector where chain restaurants are really suffering it was really disappointing that our service experience was so poor - great knowledge is one thing, and the young man was very helpful and friendly - however it was almost laughable that we were forgotten about by kitchen and staff when we were barely the only ones eating. Not a great experience for a significant spend of £150+ and a birthday treat for my 17 year old son. Food was fine but overall experience was not great.

I introduced new people to this restaurant and they were amazed at the food and the price.. they definately will be eating here again. Service was superb too.

Booked for dinner pre-Ally Pally and had a lovely meal from the set menu with great service.

Food was nice but service was very bad. One girl was on her phone near the coffee machine the entire time. The other was unfriendly, unhelpful and at times a little rude. I love cote but this was not a pleasant visit.

The prestige set menu is very good value for the money particularly enjoyed calamari and steak which was tender. Also waiting staff is very welcoming ,friendly and attentive. Had a lovy dinner.

We had a lovely meal with friends and the staff were especially helpful in sorting out a query. Waitress and staff very professional and friendly without being intrusive. The February special menu was great and wonderful cocktail of month too.

Our party of four had the premium set menu for dinner and the food was served up in the usual Cotes fashion - non-fussy but done very well - from starter through the main to dessert. To top it off, I got a free birthday cake and ice-cream as well as a birthday song sung by our hostess. And the mint tea was a surprise - real fresh mint leaves in hot water! Excellent!

Best of the best Valentine paired menu spot on Looked, tasted price perfect. Paired wine excellent including Champagne royal to start. Service top notch staff very friendly and clever thinking stretches over 7 days. Go for the 3 course pairing menu. Enjoy

The food is great. Exceptional coffee. But I do wish they would have an imaginative non- alcohol drinks list especially a nice cocktail.

Overall good. Lighting too bright, Chateaubriand should have been hotter. Good service.

Excellent food and service; we had the fish pie and Breton chicken, both of which were excellent. Standout was the French Onion Soup, and the Creme Caramel. Got a nice table by the window, it was very convivial.
