Côte Muswell Hill

It was a lovely meal and the service was very good. In the comment box when booking I mentioned that it was a birthday meal and was disappointed that there was no reference to that,it would have made the meal more special if my husband had had some birthday recognition.

Not a very good experience. 1) They had no Rhubarb cocktail. They did give us Kir Royal in its place. 2 I had Duck breast and it arrived raw They were very appolojetic and took it back and got it cooked some more. I have used The Cote for many years and have always found the food and staff perfect, last night was a disappointment and I will hesitate to use it again. John West

The whole experience at Cote was lovely. The staff we’re attentive, quick and friendly considering it was Valentines night and it was extremely busy. I will be going again.

Was a lovely experience this time , we had a voucher from a previous bad time at another venue. We all had three courses and each one was delicious , so tasty. The staff were very friendly and made it a special evening.

Our favourite place. We use it all the time. Never disappoints. Great food and incredible staff. Great for breakfasts lunch and dinner. Will keep coming back.

Attentive staff when we arrived 4 people asked if we wanted drinks and 4 times we said we’d wait for our friends . Onion soup good as always . Lamb had one inedible chewy/stringy piece but remainder was good asked for medium well was still but pink. Really long wait for 3 desserts and restaurant was fairly empty at this point !? New cutlery brought after starters but there was water in table and staff didn’t seem to notice so maybe should wipe tables between courses

The food and wine were excellent as usual. However there seemed to be an air of organised chaos about the place and we detected that always was not well between staff and management. It would be a shame for this restaurant to go downhill as it has been very good.

Drinks ordered but some not delivered but still charged on Bill.difficult to get waiters attention. ASKED TWICE for undelivered drinks and gave up in the end.

Slow service. Not happy with the service. I made a request for my husbands birthday and because they keep changing server they lost and forget it probably. It was the manager maybe who just deduct my husbands dessert, what £3? Wouldn’t mind to pay more or extra to make his birthday more special. Will not go cote for any special occasions. It is only good for casual dining. Nothing else.

It was mother’s day today and it was very busy at Cote Muswell Hill but despite all that service was impeccably efficient, accommodating and friendly as ever and above all our meals were all delicious, thank you

Lovely food, very attentive friendly staff. Service was fabulous! Bad lighting for menu reading depending on direction of the lights! For those fuller in the hip chairs with arms were VERY uncomfortable. Aside that a good experience.

As usual the staff were welcoming and efficient and the food was up to the normal high standard. It is always pleasant to eat in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

we felt the food was poor. the risotto was one of the worst we have had for some time. the swordfish was cool but edible, probably because it has been sitting around waiting for other dishes to be ready.

Exceptionally polite, friendly and courteous service. Made to feel welcome and didn't feel hassled to leave even though it was nearing closing time. Food was well presented and good value for money (selection from the specials menu). Overall, an enjoyable evening.

Poor and slow service. Kids' meal came out 30 minutes before the adult food, with no explanation. Full restaurant, not enough staff. Food was reasonable when it arrived.

The steak was a bit tough and cold :( also we requested the bill and it took over 10 minutes to arrive.

I had a lovely dinner at Cote this evening. Food was delicious and service provided was excellent. I will definitely come there in the future. 10/10

Slow service between course, 2 main courses arrived cold (duck) issues when paying bill due to terminal signal, which was handled unprofessionally, 2 of the party hadn’t been before so not a very good impression ,as regular Cote customers did not expect any of the above

Everything was of of the high standard we have come to expect at Cote.Food and service are very good.The one caveat was that we had booked the complimentary cocktail deal and we got these on arrival, but when we got the bill we were still charged for them and it then feels awkward having to point this out to staff.Its a small point overall, but it is the second time it has happened to us at Cote.
