We had been looking forward to steak frites for many months and it did not disappoint! Really tasty, and enjoyed our kir royales, chocolate fondant and crepe puddings, too! Friendly and efficient service, too!

Our visit to Côte Muswell Hill got off to a warm welcome and we were seated at a table near the window—away from the very noisy interior of the restaurant, which was perfect. The food and beers were delicious as always, my steak cooked to perfection as were my husband's fried haddock and chips. We went with the chocaholic options for dessert: my husband had an indulgent chocolate mousse which was rich and delicious, while I enjoyed the chocolate fondant with its mouth-watering melting middle. The service was excellent. The restaurant was packed (social distancing was being scrupulously observed, of course, but there were still plenty of people enjoying Côte hospitality), but the staff still managed to make us feel special and they were attentive without being intrusive. We're looking forward to our next visit—soon! A big Thank You and Congratulations to the staff for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Always lovely food and excellent staff. The covid conditions were good and I felt safe. Cote has been a long term favourite of ours. There home delivery during lockdown was amazing - the best of all the restos we tried.

Food was good. Not amazing, but good. Sadly the two items we wanted were off the menu, then the host made a special effort for the table next to us and they managed to get the items that were “sold out”! Not too impressed. The staff could do with loosening up a little and relaxing into their roles..they seem a bit serious!

It was lovely food and service but very busy, so I was a bit concerned about the closeness of tables. The music was quite loud so people were talking loudly (something to avoid for safety reasons). Maybe no music would be better when it's that full? Some people were seated very close together, no differently from before the crisis, which I thought a little odd and concerned me (definitely not enough social distancing). I would probably avoid evenings in future and go at a quieter time. I felt a little anxious.

The layout and staff preparation / knowledge in these strange times was excellent would feel confident and safe going again first night so the lobster and fish had run out by 8 o’clock but must’ve been difficult to gauge what we had was excellent so thank you very much Côte

Poor and slow service. Kids' meal came out 30 minutes before the adult food, with no explanation. Full restaurant, not enough staff. Food was reasonable when it arrived.

The steak was a bit tough and cold :( also we requested the bill and it took over 10 minutes to arrive.

I had a lovely dinner at Cote this evening. Food was delicious and service provided was excellent. I will definitely come there in the future. 10/10

very busy Saturday lunch but staff found us a relatively quiet table for our eleven family members. Everyone enjoyed the food and the adults liked the free Negronis

We celebrated my aunt 80th birthday there. All family is very satisfied with the food and atmosphere. The champagne on the house is very generous. We will back there again.

Slow service between course, 2 main courses arrived cold (duck) issues when paying bill due to terminal signal, which was handled unprofessionally, 2 of the party hadn’t been before so not a very good impression ,as regular Cote customers did not expect any of the above

Great value and good quality especially with the January special offer. It would have been better if the bill had actually reflected the offer price without having to ask for it to be corrected. Waitress/greeter very patient and considerate in ensuring I had a table where I could be comfortable with an injured leg. Pork Navarin particularly welcome warmth on a cold day.

Great food and great service as usual. Perfect place for a family meal out with two teenage kids. We are regulars at the Muswell Hill restaurant

Delightful waitresses couldn’t disguise the fact that the lamb dish (shepherd’s pie) had barely any meat in it - just potato in abundance. A tiny dish too for the price. They soon replaced the dish with sea bream, however, so no damage done! Unfortunately, as the main body of the restaurant filled up, our waitresses deserted us in our own annex and we had to summon a passing someone to order our desserts. All in all, rather disappointing on what was supposed to be a celebratory meal. Still the “complimentary” water flowed abundantly. Although I didn’t need to be told at least five times that it was indeed - complimentary!

On this occasion I tried a new dish I had not tried before and can say that I was very pleasantly rewarded. The attentive staff simply added to the success of the evening for both of us. I keep thinking that this can't go on like this forever, but I am pleased that I continue to be proved wrong - it has continued for a long period now, which means that it is not accidental.

Lovely range of food and good service at a reasonable price. £7 service charge wasn’t appreciated when the dinner was only £60 in the first place, I wouldn’t have left that much if given the choice.

Good reliable food nice relaxing ambience Breakfasts very good value in our opinion as they include hot and cold soft drinks Your veggie risotto a favourite and we often finish with a coupe noir which is a lovely combination of textures and you can’t go wrong with good vanilla ice cream and hot dark chocolate sauce. Something you might consider adding to your coffee range is a cortado served in a small glass rather than an espresso cup. Busy Sunday when we visited longest wait was for the bill but not a problem as we were not in a rush. very polite and helpful waiter nothing too much trouble.

Everything was of of the high standard we have come to expect at Cote.Food and service are very good.The one caveat was that we had booked the complimentary cocktail deal and we got these on arrival, but when we got the bill we were still charged for them and it then feels awkward having to point this out to staff.Its a small point overall, but it is the second time it has happened to us at Cote.

Great as always. Consistently good food, ambiance and general standard of presentation. Côte is always top of our list for eating out locally. I recommend the French onion soup to start and their delicious Ribeye steak for a main dish.
