Consistently good good. Attentive staff, welcoming and good atmosphere. It is our favourite family eating out. Local to most places in the area and good for everyone

Welcoming and efficient staff. Whilst the menu is short, there are plenty of choices of good quality fresh food. An enjoyable evening topped off with a free bottle of wine - great value promotion!

We had a lovely meal, the staff were pleasantly attentive attentive and the menu was trypically French as we had hoped but varied to please our whole party. The desserts (especially the crepes) were delicious.

Service was friendly but not over the top. Food and wine were really good. Have been to another cote not so far awau and defintely preferred this one. Will go again.

Very nice meal, soupe de poisson just the thing for a cold snowy afternoon. Steak frites good as usual, though a little tough in places.

an enjoyable and relaxed brunch with the papers and also a couple of free drinks which was an added bonus. We'll head back there soon

Went there for Mother's day. The staff are fantastic - very friendly and attentive. The food was very flavoursome - I will definitely go back again, highly recommended.

Lovely Mother's Day early dinner with my family. Delicious food as usual. Free Kier Royals. Very busy but staff coped brilliantly. Our favorite restaurant in Muswell Hill.

The staff were very attentive and provided a very good service, nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. My husband and I would definitely visit again.

We had the set menu as we dined early evening. We both had the Moules followed by sea bass for me with orange and fennel salad and mashed potato. Steak frites for my partner. All extremely delicious. Very pleasant not loud background music - how refreshing after being deafened in other restaurants!

Fine as always usually go to the Muswell Hill Branch at least twice a month, Fish Gougons usually a good choice and enjoy the Chicken but because it is on the bone it can be tricky

Lovely meal for a party of six,the bill was £240,ok, but the sting in the tail was the £30 service charge,I thought this was excessive making the total £370 !!!

I attended for lunch. a member of staff opened the door for me as I had a buggy, showed me very quickly to a table and I was served quickly and politely, but I was not rushed in any way.

Good food and pleasant and attentive service. Despite being very busy we didn't have to wait which made the experience of Mother's Day late lunch/ early dinner very enjoyable.

The food and service was outstanding. However, they needed a few more staff to be working as it was a long wait to have the table cleared, to order dessert/coffee etc. The staff were brilliant and they worked above and beyond today.

Great experience with an attentive team that focusses on its guests. Food was great rich in flavour and appearance. I would go back. They need to get a double door to seal out the wind but this is minor.

Lovely Saturday evening dinner at our local Cotes-just classic French cooking done well. Nice buzzing atmosphere and a very attentive waitress. The complimentary Kir Royales were a bonus.

Food was of good quality. Service needs working on. Didn't seem to be enough staff around had constantly chase down a member for assistance. Staff in general not attentive enough

We had another nice meal at Cote Muswell Hill. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, there is a nice atmosphere and the food is tasty.

The meal was delicious. The only reason I have given 5 rather than 6 is ... Only oneof our party wanted a starter...soup ....and asked for it to served whilst we were all deciding what to order. This proved to be a request too far. And the soup was served at almost the same time as his main course.

We had a great time last Saturday at the Muswell Hill restaurant the food was good but slightly down on the excellent food we normally receive, firstly I had the charcuterie board, the bread came out not charcoal grill with garlic but instead 2 slices of white bread, also the French butter pate that's complements the dish was only half full!! I did complain & the staff quickly replaced these items. My wife had the sea bass however there was very little sauce when she complained she got more sauce but the sauce came out luke warm & watery. Could do better. Jango X

Overall a pleasant experience, but too expensive. For lunch for 4 adults and 2 children (and only two glasses of wine between us all), £212 is too much!

We’re frequent visitors to this (local) branch of Cote and obviously really like it. The staff are consistently very friendly and attentive. The food is always good and really good value. This visit though was Valentines Day and there was a strict set menu. Most, if not all, of the dishes came from the everyday menu and so weren’t such good value for the money. The food was pretty good as always but one would have expected something a bit more special. We’ll be sticking to Sunday lunch and the odd evening meal in future.

Unfortunately, the manager was so rude at the beginning of the evening that it tarnished what should have been a relaxed valentine’s evening. Even though the other staff where friendly and accommodating, this person’s rudeness to customers and his staff was very noticeable and uncomfortable to witness. This is the second time we have encountered his bad behaviour - it seems to be at times when the restaurant is especially busy -and it has definitely put me off this restaurant. It’s a shame as the food at Côte Muswell Hill is so good! And the rest of the staff a lovely!

very nice evening as ever , preferred it to some of there other restaurant as more space and so more relaxing, we will be going there again

Excellent table. Good food especially the Monkfish main from the special menu. Service was a little slow at the beginning but improved. We all - there were 6 of us- had a great time.

We chose a table near the window and the acoustics were excellent for chatting to old friends we had not seen for a long time.

mY HUSBAND'S MAIN COURSE WAS COLD HAD TO BE SENT BACK. IT WAS REHEATED NOT REPLACED WHICH MEANT THE PINK DUCK WAS THEN OVERCOOKED. EXCELLENT WAITRESS.

Great birthday dinner. Our waitress, Isabella, always provides a great service and is very friendly especially with my two children. We will definitely be back soon.

We ate a delicious meal here for a birthday lunch. Pleasant surrounding and pleasant and helpful staff. We ate from the lunch menu and were very satisfied with the choice of food on there.

Lovely, considerate and attentive staff (but not in an overly pestering way!) Simple, concise and delicious menu, and fairly speedy service while not feeling at all rushed. Love this Cote!

As usual, the food was excellent and the wines that accompanied the Valentine's Day menu were good choices. The service was efficient and we had a nice table.

This restaurant has lovely food, always comes out hot and fresh. It has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Definitely a place to check out.

Cote is always reliable. Friendly service, good food, good atmosphere. Great place for family gatherings, catch-ups with friends. We never feel rushed, the staff always seem to be in good moods, the high standards are consistently maintained. A local favourite.

I didn't like the white wine selection and there was a lack of vegetarian foods... Otherwise, the food we had was amazing and the red wines were excellent.
