Côte Muswell Hill

A nice meal once again at Cote Muswell Hill. The seafood linguine was a particular favourite and the service was very good. We all enjoyed the evening.

A wonderful evening - great food, great service...then one of our party collapsed, having a seizure. Cote staff were superb, could not have been more helpful and supportive. No hint of complaint from them, as they stayed with us while we waited for an ambulance. They went above and beyond the call of duty, we owe them!

We enjoyed a lovely relaxed evening and meal at cote in muswell hill and will be returning again soon for more of the same. Always reliable.

Really lovely staff. Food was great. We didn't feel rushed and everything was relaxed. Just great for a midweek visit. We loved the prestige set menu and house champagne!

I frequently eat at this branch of Cote. I find the staff very efficient, friendly with a good customer service ethic. The menu is varied and food is good. Also as I’m coeliac.. they get top marks for allergy awareness.

Very good we all had excellent starters, mains and dessert. Service was also excellent. Nice atmosphere, warm and friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Great staff and service, lovely food and wine. As reliable as ever. Only flaw was that the green beansa and asparagus were a little undercooked.

Really love the ambience at this Côte. Super nice dining experience today late afternoon with the in laws. We always choose Côte for the occasions since there is something to please everyone. Good service, felt personal and not rushed as we have experienced in the past. We were aloud to take our time and perfect amount of time between dishes and all steps of service. Splendid! Hope this standard will keep with smiley staff and good service. As we are regulars I’m actually looking forward to the next time already. Will for sure go for the chocolate fondant that time. My husband made be jealous.

Standard and quality of food excellent. I visit the muswell hill outlet on a register basis. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. It is always busy.

I have always enjoyed cote but on this occasion something was amiss with the cooking. Tartare sauce not right and then one main dish and the rocket salad overly salty. Was a busy night and the main dishes and desert took rather long to come to the table. Management tried to make good of the situation though. And we appreciated this as we have always enjoyed the service and food at Cote

The quality of the food is outstanding. And the portions of steak really nice. We will be back. We felt very comfortable and the attention was really good.

Very slow service. Waited 45 minutes for starter. Even longer for main course. Poor management. Felt a bit sidelined. Won’t be going back. Shame as we have always enjoyed eating there in the past

Very pleasant lunch a little spoiled by the noise of the passing traffic. In future we will make sure we sit in the room well away from the open window doors. The service was excellent and the food was as good as it normally is. I attempted to use my loyalty points to reduce the bill by £10 but apparently the scheme does not work that way.

Cote at Muswell Hill is a great place for lunchtime or evening. Relaxed atmosphere with good food. I like the lunchtime special menus that make eating out at that time more affordable

It is always a pleasure to visit Cote Muswell Hill and this time was no exception. Antonio one of the Managers made us feel very welcome and even though the steak was a little overcooked he replaced it very quickly. The rest of the meal was lovely and the calamari as delicious as ever. Well done Cote.

1) Did not get the table we requested 2) When ordering sweet (Pan Perdue) they only had 1 left 3) Had to wait some time for our meal. 4) Was not offered a drink before the meal 5) When the meal arrived, the girl who brings it from the kitchen had to struggle to serve while holding the tray as no one else was around.

Excellent service and location,food is great. Waiteress who serve us on that night who is from Hampstead branch I remembered her, she was great definitely an assets to the company.

Efficient service. Our wine/food order was taken promptly. The sea bass was correctly cooked and well presented. This branch of Cote is relaxing and attractive.

Our party of 4 had different main courses and they were all delicious. Our complimentary bottle of wine was superb and our waiter was friendly and efficient. A really lovely evening.

The service is always good, the food arrives on good time and the orders are correct. We will recommend the restaurant to friends and relatives.

Nice large local branch with plenty of seating. Bi-fold doors open onto the pavement during the summer that gives it an outside but inside feeling. Only issue was that they ran out of a certain special and forgot to notify us. Would definitely return!

When available on the value menu the frisée salad with egg & lardons is excellent.

After 5 weeks in South America it was good to get back to a French menu with lots of meat options (not just fish).

The good value menu is exactly that and the small supplement for a steak well worthwhile.

Nice to sit and read by the windows over a coffee whilst awaiting one's other half. A few more newspapers would be useful.

Very nice in greater weather today with the folding doors giving great airiness and ventilation.

The duck-based cassoulet is always a good, warming dish on a cold day.

We were 6 people for dinner on Friday night in Muswell Hill branch. We have been in the past quite a few times as we are locals; but this time we were not very happy with the food. I had the fish stew and I thought that the fish was not very fresh, and it took almost 1 hour before the food came to table. Moreover, the waiter never gave us the card with the 'day specials' but when she came to ask for the desserts. I don't know what the issue was, lack of kitchen staff or lack of good management but we were really disappointed this time. I hope that everything last night was just ' a bad day' ;but local restaurants cannot 'afford' to disappoint locals while new restaurants pop up every week in most areas these days.

They did not get a 6 because having the doors open on to Muswell Hill Broadway meant we got a lot of noise from traffic and smoke from passers by etc

Food was very tasty. Fantastic value for money. We visit Cote regularly however service on this occasion not quite as exceptional as it has been on our other visits.

Great special offer, wonderful breakfast, one full English and one eggs royale. As always the service was excellent and friendly. Would definitely recommend this to others.

It was fine, not great. The service was slow and we had to attract attention to order. One of the dishes came luke warm and we had to ask for it to be warmed up.

charming restaurant sometimes the staff seams to be too stressed! the only think I will criticised is that you don't change the menu too often!

The food was great, the service good and the waitress was pleasant. The setting was spacious and tastefully decorated, with had a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

We were a group of 7 including two young children. All of us enjoyed our meals. There was a wide choice. The food was very good and excellent value. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the person serving us.

Very friendly and efficient staff, great food, very nice surroundings - all adding up to a geat experience! We had a table of six people, but that didn't seem to phase them.

Very welcoming and immediately commented that I had requested gluten free menu. We’re able to have the deal on the gluten free on whereas in Newbury we couldn’t. Excellent breakfast. Will return if we go to another exhibition at Ally Pally.

Good value for money and excellent service are always on the menu at Cote Muswell Hill. We ate from the special April menu, which was good. Try the cod, it is outstanding.

Lovely food. A variety which ensures all the families tastes are covered. A bit busy today but staff were acknowledging and tried their best; helpful and responsive. Nice atmosphere.

Tasty meal with good service and they remembered to serve Viv's dessert with a candle to celebrate her birthday and they joined in the singing. Full marks!

Experience has been very nice. Staff are nice and very helpful. The food is always nice and fresh. We really like Côte and always go there for breakfast and lunch.

Lovely food - met up with very old friend and had a great catchup - stayed for hours - no hassle from anyone but really attentive when we needed something!! Thankyou!

Menu has changed Poor value now 1 main for £12 Meat tough and stringy I was told they have changed suppliers Toilets unclean no paper

Good value lunch menu with a variety of options to suit everyone. Delicious desserts. Both red and white house wine went down very well. Only criticisms - had to change a few of the glasses as the dishwasher hadn't done a very good job and the service was a little bit slow. Lovely, helpful and friendly waiting staff who were available if you needed them, but were unobtrusive. There were 6 of us and all in all we had a very pleasant time.

Excellent food excellent service and excellent wine all in all a fantastic experience as always. Muscles very fresh as was the wine crisp and cold and well worth the value
