Excellent service and food as always perfect the staff are great and we visit once a month because although in London there is no more homely better local restaurant in the North London area thank you so much for the personal touches

Very disappointingly our food was rather poor. The Breton Chicken was very dry so I asked for more gravy to make it edible,”. The chicken came with but a few isolated green beans and the gratin dauphinois was luke warm. The whole dish looked as if it had been thrown together in a hurry. My son’s mashed potato with his sausage was as hard as dried mud and so we ordered a fresh replacement. Even the pouring warm white chocolate at dessert arrived with a congealed film across the top. Whilst the staff were professional and friendly the food would make me dissuade people from eating at Cote Muswell Hill in future.

Very good food, nice service, utterly reliable = Côte. They can't do anything about the (occasional) screaming children but I wish the parents would.

I'm really pleased that there is again a reasonably consistent group of staff. There was a dip when many apparently have departed, but service has now greatly improved. The food is consistently good and Côte offers good VFM. Screaming children are an occasional blight, but there are many other kids who are very well behaved.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful and had a lovely pleasant nature about them. The only gripe was the steak had a lot of fat bits to it which is unusual for a Cote.

Lovely complimentary Kir royale for my friend’s birthday. Delicious starter of crab & avocado mayo with sourdough. We decided to both have that as a starter and then a fillet steak. Unfortunately my steak was very tough & sinewy and more or less inedible. No one came to check on us while we were eating our mains so it was hard to tell someone. The manager was very nice and apologetic when we told her and she didn’t charge us for my steak but I would much rather have paid and had a decent steak. Disappointing meal - not the norm at Cote.

They didn’t have everything I want on the menu, no seabass, no chicken... service was good though

The service was very good and we had a good table. The food was nice, we had the haddock goujons however I don't think super thin skinny chips are a good idea, chunky chips would have been much better. The desserts were very nice if not slightly over-priced in my opinion.

The staff are always very welcoming and helpfull, always very obliging. They had run out of the specials Lobster and strawberry pavlova, so rather disapointed

We have always had superb faultless service at Muswell Hill Cote from the moment we were welcomed into the restaurant to leaving it. However the staff have changed and the quality has fallen. On this occasion we were not given our complimentary drinks and on requesting them, my word was doubted and the waitress told us that she would have to check. You send me emails with these offers and when I redeem them when booking, your restaurant records should be clear. The waitress also got our order wrong and my daughter's filet steak tasted fine but was a very peculiar shape. My husband's tomato and onion salad contained no onions (although the waitress did deduct this from the bill). We really couldn't be certain that the strawberry pavlova contained any cream. On this occasion we chose not to have a starter and it was almost an hour before our main course was served even though the restaurant was not particularly full. We have always looked forward to our visits to this Cote, but I am not sure that we will return.

Very good value. Dishes well designed and executed. Service was good. Ambience good. Everyone at our table of four enjoyed their dinner very much.

We had a really good lunch today at Cote Muswell Hill. As always, the service was efficient and friendly. The food was really good! We had the July special Veal Sirloin which comes with mash, artichokes, fresh peas and tomatoes. It was fresh and came out hot and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Would have been pleased with this if I’d had it at a top restaurant rather than the local brasserie. Well done!

Service is friendly and nice and the formules are a great deal

Air conditioning on too high. Waiter quite unhelpful about turning it lower. Service very slow. Nicoise salad: - tuna thin and over- cooked; no dressing on salad. We thought decaf coffee tasted strange.

I was keen to sample the lobster special which has been heavily promoted. Very disappointed to be told that the lobster was not available. I was listed as both a starter and a main so I have a bit of an issue with it just not being there with no alternative to replace it on the special menu.

My husbands risotto included asparagus that was uncooked. The dish was taken away but took a long time to come back. But the restaurant did not charge for the risotto. We thank you for this consideration. The rest of the meal was excellent.

Had scrumptious breakfast at a great price. Service and ambience as good as ever.

It was my daughters 30th birthday. So it’s was a family occasion. My brother n law is a chef! And it was the first time he’d been there and he was very impressed with he food. I frequent muswell hill cote myself and feel very comfortable every time I eat there. And the staff are very helpful.

Food is always good. Rarely have a bad meal here which is why my family and I are regulars.

Good food at competitive prices in a pleasant and comfortable environment

My pork belly had to be returned. The skin not crisp. We had to wait for service throughout each course. We were charged for the complimentary drinks and had to draw attention to this. Staff not attentive or cheerful. I eat lunch at Cote Muswell Hill at least once a month with my family and this is the first time I felt disappointed.
