Excellent food good service and a great atmosphere. Good selection of wines and my favourite creme brûlée in London. One of our favourite places to eat in Westminster.
Cote is always reliable for lunch or dinner. Staff are accommodating and helpful. It is really about the closest to a Brasserie experience in London
Always good service and friendly staff. Food not fantastic but for the price its definitely okay. We had charcuterie to share and 2 starter tartare and a bottle of wine and Kir Royal, and the price was very fair. We will be back.
We went for a colleague's retirement do. Great food and atmosphere. Food served in good time and staff were friendly and helpful. The décor was lovely.
The service is very good food is good The Resturant looks very clean I enjoyed the food and service The service charge is 12.5 % which is added to the bill I don't agree with this policy I would rather give the waiter cash I would go back I hope the staff get the service charge as the do a great job
Great spot just off vibrant Marylebone High Street. Very nice - quite buzzy atmosphere, so conversation can flow smoothly without feeling one is being listened to - it is not a library! Broad menu with much to satisfy most palettes. Portions are substantial. We had the 2015 Chinon which was very pleasant. Staff attentive but not intrusive. Quite reasonable. Recommend.
This was a lovely meal. I had the chicken liver with brioche which was very good and then the muscles. My friends all enjoyed their meals bar one whose corn fed chicken was red by the bone. Once she pointed this out it was returned to the kitchen . Her meal was replaced with a perfectly cooked one and she wasn't charged for it. The puddings looked lovely. I would definable go there again.
Just what we wanted. Quiet and good food/service. Always allowed to sit where I wish which is helpful when you are trying to have a business meeting.
Great atmosphere, good services and good quality of food. The Hunter's chicken was just a bit slightly too salty for my personal taste but over all excellent.
It is always a great breakfast. Always great service. Very good value for the formule. Newspapers during breakfast on the weekend is a nice touch.
Great food, good quick service... overall fantastic value for money. We were a party of 8 and as ever Cote did not let us down.
Food good. Resturant noisy. service slow to get started then ok. Price reasonable . Wine good. Overall reasonable and good value but not a place for a special occasion.
Authentic French bistro in the heart of Marylebone. Excellent friendly service and delicious, authentic French food. Prices very reasonable for top quality. In our top 2 favourite neighbourhood restaurants.
The restaurant was busy on arrival but otherwise all was fine until the food was presented and waiter left us with no cutlery? Not sure what he expected us to do next? Not a single piece of cutlery or a napkin on the table. Later when we ordered dessert and asked for two side plates to divide them the same waiter told us there were no side plates available?????? Since it was my friend's birthday I got up at that point and went to speak to the manager the waiter tried to hover and had to be encouraged to move away with a glare from me - did he think he was going to put me off speaking to the manager? In addition, we overheard him brushing off a couple at the next table who wanted to ask him about the wine list - he clearly did not what was on it or at least listed among the reds. Both myself and my friend were stunned we go to Cote in lots of locations around London it has NEVER been like this and in a central location like Marylebone. Two glasses of Prosecco were brought to us and appreciated but there is a clear training deficit to be addressed. As I said to the manager "this is not Cote".
The salad I ordered wasn't available and the quality of the food has been a lot better in the past. The chicken tasted bland but the creme caramel was nice.
Great food and top class service ...the ala cartel menu offered a great selection as did the set menu. The house wine was of a very good standard.
Good food as always. Service rather slow today which is unusual but this was not the Cote I regularly go to. Think back to my usual one next time.
Great place, good food, prompt service. Staff possibly a little too attentive but better than that than the other way around. I will be returning.
Very reliable as always - perfectly cooked (and enormous!) steak, lovely well-priced wine and delicious frozen berries with white chocolate sauce. No complaints from us!
Service a bit slow. One waiter had poor command of what we had ordered. Probably a language problem. Food satisfactory although beefburger was smaller than other Cote branches.
Service was a bit shabby in comparison to my usual experiences of a Cote Brasserie. We were slow to order but then things were slow to arrive or didn't at all prices needed several reminders...not sure what happened....
Our COTE experiences are extremely good. The staff have always been very helpful in our seating arrangements. The food has always been of a consistently good standard and well presented.
Familiar Côte specialities nicely done. Friendly service and good atmosphere. This must be the fifth or sixth Côte I've tried around London. None has yet disappointed and each has its individual charm.
Food was great, service was good natured, but below standard. My booking was for five, so we were given a table for four with an extra chair at the end. So where was the table setting? Cutlery? That didn't arrive until after we'd asked for it. Our complimentary kir royales were lovely and a treat for my birthday, much appreciated. We ordered wine, that duly came, but we had to ASK for water and the Perrier we'd ordered, a first for Côte, where it normally arrives unbidden on our arrival. I was brought a splendid birthday dessert (not ordered but charged for) even before anyone had even seen the dessert menus. They weren't forthcoming, we had to ask for them, by the time we received them I had eaten all my chocolate fondant, which was going to get cold. I had finished before they ordered dessert. On checking the bill, we found another table's complete bill added to ours. Drinks, coffees and food. About £50 overcharge. This was quickly corrected, but it should not have happened. The restaurant was almost empty by then, they just weren't paying attention. We have visited around 8 different Côte branches, we use them very often, and this was our fifth visit to Marylebone. We had a nice evening, but the service wasn't up to scratch.
As ever, really good food and service at Marylebone Cotes Brasserie. Great value for money and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will be sure to return again in the future.
Good selection of items in the set lunch menu to suit all tastes. Good value of food. Quick and very polite service. Tap water serviced as a matter of course without having to ask.
Enjoyed lunch Food was good Service was good. Am a regular Côte BrSserie customer and there is always a consistent level which you can reply upon Thank you
Superb service and a very enjoyable meal. We all had the 3 course lunch which was great value for money - the Calamari was wonderful! Would definitely go back.
Good food but service was slow - we waited over 10 minutes for the bill and some coffees and food wasn't served at the same time
As we usually find at Cote, the food very good and excellent value. Efficient and friendly service. Good Prosecco and wine. Overall a very positive experience.
First time at this branch. Another lovely Cote meal. Good attentive staff with excellent quality traditional cuisine at an excellent price. Well done Cote. Nailed it again!
Friendly staff. Food excellent. Had the weekend special menu. Very good value for money. Recommend booking as the restaurant was comfortably busy for a Saturday lunchtime. Drank the house red- good value.
Had a Delicious meal, off the set menu. Three courses, coffee and glass of prosecco £22 each very good. Not rushed so had a good catch up with old friends
Service is excellent and the food is consistently good. The set lunch is amazing value for money. The wine list is obviously French but those sold by the glass are all good.
Although I eat at Côte Marylebone at least once a month my visit today was not good. Soup too water-y, so it was sent back. Steak too cold, so had to be sent back, items forgotten and quite slow service. I hope next time it will be back to normal great standards.
Excellent lunch; good service and well looked after. I hope it's like this everytime and not like my prior experience !! Rate 6 Dr Frank Abramson
Great food and good value as always...I had steak frites and my guest had Croque Monsieur, followed by coffee. Service was polite and friendly, but a little slower than I'm used to in Cote. In all, a very pleasant and enjoyable lunch.
very poor experience, service was not good, we had trouble ordering, I would have like a glass of wine but that would have involved getting a waiter to serve at our table. Food was very average and I am a Cote regular. I didn't eat most of the Tuna as it was cold and tough, but no one cared or asked.
As usual, good and friendly service in a congenial environment. The food from the special three course menu was good too. I will go there again.
Staff were helpful but my steak was tough , had trouble getting waiter attention as he was on his own on that side of the restaurant
Welcoming, food was good and we had a very attentive server. Great evening with excellent ambiance and didn't feel rushed. Good value for money and very enjoyable.
Every meal is so different and menu always has something tasty and new wonderful place to go. Staff as usual were brilliant and my reward of the crime carmel that I would not usual order was so very creamy!!!
We really enjoyed our family lunch and shall be happy to use the restaurant again when we want a varied choice and a friendly atmosphere
it was a very pleasant experience. the atmosphere and the waiting staff were good. I had asparagus (excellent) and plaice on the bone (excellent but not big enough) followed by crepe with strawberries (very mundane and I would not have it again) We all know that Cote is a large chain, but both the Camden and the Marylebone branches make one feel that one is in a 'local' and bespoke restaurant.
We enjoyed our meal and good service. The first course lacked the impact of a similar dish at the St. Martin's Lane branch, but Cote remains amazing value. Our main courses, steak-frites and chicken with commendable gratin potatoes, were good. Your pre-7 pm menu is hard to beat.
The service was excellant and the staff most welcoming. The choice on the menu was good and the food was well cooked, presented and very tasty. Can recommend the fish.
Excellent services. We were given the table we wanted (free for 2h). In 2h time we were politely offered a table next to our one (just in case we have not finished yet).
We really like this branch of Cote. The normal excellent Cote standard of food, drink and service but not quite so noisy and frenetic as some branches even though it was full. Scored very highly all round for us and we had a very enjoyable evening.
Great restaurant - amazing value if you eat before 7pm - took 7 people, 3-course meal with wine for under £140. Decent amount of choice, nice quality, sensible portions.
